Property management functions like leasing, marketing, and maintenance are interconnected, so scattered software systems force costly data normalization that blocks AI. Centralizing data and mapping relationships now prepares you to leverage AI agents when the technology matures around 2027-2028.

Everything ripples into everything else. Like make ready is drift into turn. What if that, what if, or make ready drifts into leasing or marketing? What, what if that property sits vacant for, you know, 15, 21 days and someone's gotta go like freshen it up? Or maybe there's a roof leak while it's leasing and you gotta get maintenance back involved and you have to have that constant conversation with owners about pricing in the market. Like there's, everything touches everything. And I think part of my other drive for continuity on the data side is just my intuition around where things are going with AI. Having spent a lot of time and done a lot of things with AI, the latency and cost of having to normalize data from a bunch of different systems into one place, I think creates a lot of challenges. Whereas if you have everything in one place, you have the relationships between all of that data mapped, you can actually do really interesting things with agents. And so a lot of what I'm doing is also positioning us for, in my mind, like '27, '28, when these tools and harnesses start to mature a little bit more and they can drive more outcomes. And, and hopefully we build the power infrastructure to support it as a country.
