The shortage of appliance repair technicians is worsening even though demand stays high. Most homes have four to five appliances, and more people working from home means they're used constantly. Self-diagnosing features help, but someone still has to fix them.
How many appliance repair techs do you know, right? Not many.
Yeah.
But everybody that you know hopefully has what, average 4 or 5 appliances where they live, right? So sooner or later everybody's gonna need an appliance repair tech. But if you think about who do you know who's appliance repair tech, like that's a good point. There's not many, is it? Yeah, there's a, there's a huge shortage. So the demand's not stopping anytime soon. Even with, you know, these appliances that are like, it's gonna diagnose itself and all that. It's like, yeah, but eventually somebody physically has to go and do it, right? So it's like even if they, if you have a self diagnosed appliance, which is not all of them, because not everybody has AI techie appliances. Eventually, you still need somebody to go fix them, right? Because everyone's doing their stuff, especially now there's a lot of people who work from home.
Yeah, it seems like the appliances are just getting more and more complicated. So there's more things to break and they're more expensive to fix. So definitely, I agree.
