Let's face it, nobody likes an office. Commutes are terrible and they're getting longer. We clock in for the exact same hours every day in the exact same space. If you need a quiet space to focus, work better at night, let's say you have a family member that's home sick, too bad. That's why I founded my company with no offices. Everyone gets to work from wherever they're most comfortable, whether that's a house in Idaho or a coffee shop in Iceland. About 14 years later, we now have more than 900 employees from 68 countries. My name is Matt Mullenweg. I'm the co-founder of WordPress and the CEO of Automattic, and I'm hosting a new podcast dedicated to the future of work. It's called Distributed. For the first time ever, I'm going to share everything I've learned about distributed work. I'm going to talk with other entrepreneurs, executives, HR leaders, CTOs, and employees about how you collaborate, get things done inside and outside of offices. I hope you join me.
