Found too many cool Petoskey Stones and “Greens” on vacation. Had to do something!
In this vacation vlog, Randy Dean shares his excitement after discovering an abundance of Petoskey stones and various green algae (referred to as “greens”) while on a trip. He showcases the stones’ unique patterns, explains why they are prized by collectors, and discusses the unexpected green finds. Motivated by the sheer volume, he decides to take action—whether that means cleaning, sorting, crafting, or otherwise repurposing the finds. The video blends on‑site footage of the shoreline, close‑ups of the stones and algae, and Randy’s personal commentary about the joy of collecting natural souvenirs and the next steps he plans to take with them.
