Randy Charach plays a rigged game with two audience volunteers: one draws a black ball from a bag, but everyone must answer no when asked who has it. He keeps asking the question in increasingly absurd ways, mixing in jokes about viral videos and personal anecdotes while theatrically revealing who lied.

How about we do boy-girl, boy-girl? It's a little more fun. For Ron.
Okay.
And step forward, but be very careful, don't step off the stage. Although that might make a really good YouTube viral video. And if you could just move over just a little bit, I'll squeeze in between here. All right, good, thank you. So now that we have all our friends here, what we're gonna do, I'm gonna do a test here. It's a lie detector test. And I'm not gonna ask the women anything they would obviously lie about, like, You know, their age. Or I'm not going to ask the men anything they'd lie about, which would be like everything. Instead, it'll be something just a little less intrusive on your own personal thoughts. But if I do pick up something really interesting personal, I won't share it unless it's really good, okay? So you don't have to worry too much. So here we go with the lie detector test. So everybody, if you would, please raise your left hand up into the air and repeat after me. I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I swear to tell the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So help me God. So help me God. Or so help me dog, if you're dyslexic. How is my dog anyway? I mean, your dog.
It's good.
It's good? Okay, cool. You still okay? You call 911 yet or anything? Okay, good. I think you guys are telling the truth. You know, I think you seem like pretty honest people.
Yeah.
Now, in a moment though, I am going to ask one of you to lie. So I have over here, I have 4 balls, 2 white ones and a black one. And I'm going to drop these balls into the bag, white, black, white, white, mix them up. Now each one of you is going to reach into the bag and pull out a ball, but don't let anybody else see which one you have, okay?
Okay.
Okay, so here you go. I won't look and just keep it hidden at first and then just sneak a peek. Okay, but you have one?
Yes.
Okay, would you please take one? Oh, don't let me see, don't let me see.
Okay.
Oops, sorry. Good. And over here. Yeah, that's the last one, right? Okay, good. Now, you each have one. Have you all looked at it? Nobody else knows but you. One of you has the black ball, and I'm going to ask each one of you, do you have the black ball? And you're all going to say no, meaning one of you is going to lie. And I'm going to try to figure out who's lying. Okay, here we go.
Hi.
Hi. Remember, you're going to say no even if you have the black ball. Do you have the black ball?
No.
Do you have the black ball? No.
No.
Actually, I was going to ask you a different question. I was going to say, do you find me attractive? Oh, then yes.
Oh.
The last person someone said— last time someone said yes to that, I ended up with 4 kids and a mortgage. So that's not really that good. But anyway, do you have the black ball?
No.
Do you have the black ball?
I don't.
You liar. Show them.
Go ahead.
There it is. And you guys will show me your white one. Good.
All right.
Put it back.
Thank you.
There we go. All right. We'll mix and mix and mix. And now this time— It's going to be a little bit different. I'm going to have you each choose one. Don't let anybody see what you have. Don't let me see. And then in a moment, when you're sure I'm not looking, you're going to sneak a peek, okay? So here you go. Go ahead and take one. And you take one. Thank you. There you go.
Okay.
Sure you want that one or you want to change your mind? That works.
Okay.
There you go. Okay, good. Alright, so now you each have a ball, and this time I'm going to ask you, but this time you're going to answer silently in your mind. So you're not actually going to say no out loud, but you're going to say no in your mind. So one of you is going to lie. Remember, don't say it out loud. This way you don't give it away, you know, you won't be giving it away with any sort of body language or anything. I'm just going to try to get your thoughts. Do you have the black ball? Hmm. Do you have the black ball?
No. Huh. Do you have the black ball?
Do you have the black ball?
I don't get it. What happened?
I missed that. I missed that. But one thing that I actually did get that both of you, I want to thank you very much for telling the truth. You can go ahead and show them your white ball. And yeah, go ahead. I know you have the white ball. And give them a big round of applause.
Thank you.
Thanks for coming out there. Thank you. You can go back to your seats. Big round of applause for them. You guys stay. Wow. Interesting. So I'm not sure what you guys are trying to tell me here, but would you come on over here? And I'm going to mix things up a little bit because one of you is a really good liar. So I have to ask you a different question. Do you find me attractive?
I do. He does.
You know, last time I asked a guy that and—
Let's not go there.
Remember, just in your mind. Oh, maybe another question. Have you ever been creative in your tax return? Boxers or briefs? Oh, I'm sorry. I guess there was another option I completely—
All right.
This is turning out to be really interesting. OK, hold on. Remember, just in your mind, say no. Do you have the black ball? Do you have the black ball? Coincidences happen a lot on my show. Again, you have the black ball. Go ahead and show them. You can show them the white ball. And let's have them— have a big round of applause for them. Thank you very much.
Thank you. Thank you.
You are a good audience.
