Good morning and happy Monday, everyone, and welcome to the month of March. I am excited for the start of a new month and a new season. Spring is just a couple of weeks away. So to get you guys excited and energized and motivated for the week ahead, I wanted to show you 3 exercises that you can do to really wake up your body. So what we're going to start with is we're going to take a couple steps back and we're going to do some agility work. So these are quick feet where you're stepping forward and back and 4 times on each leg, and then you're going into 4 jacks. Now, if you want to modify the jacks, you don't have to jump with both feet out as I'm going to show you. You can step out from the center with one foot at a time. So here we go. So you're going to come forward, back, forward, back, forward, back. One more, and then you jack. 3, 2, and then other foot. You come forward, back, forward, back. 2 more, and then 4 jacks. 4, 3, 2, and 1. Another exercise that I wanted to show you to really energize your body are touchdowns, where then you come into a squat with your feet together. So you're going to jump down into a touchdown, come together and squat. Now if you don't want to jump, again, you can modify by stepping out with one foot at a time. You want to tuck in your core, use your legs, and keep your chest lifted so that you're not straining your back. And then the third move I wanted to show you this morning are squats where your feet are turned out, your knees are turned out as well. You want to tuck your pelvis under, your core is engaged. You can lift your heels up off the ground so that you get more stability and calf work as well. And then you're going to form 90-degree angles with your arms. You're going to come together in a chest press, bring those arms out, and then reach up into an overhead press to work the shoulders. So we get the chest, and then the shoulders, and then all the while we're working our inner thighs, core, and calf muscles as well. So I hope that those exercises just give you a few ideas of how you can really kick off your day and your week with some energy, with some stamina, so that you can be more productive and in a better state of mind as well. So have a great week and a great month of March, and I will be back with more videos soon. Take care, guys.
