Passion Fit Holistic Wellness - Fitness: 10-Minute Bootcamp

In this 10‑minute bootcamp video, Reena Vokoun guides viewers through a full‑body workout designed for people short on time or on the go. The session begins with a dynamic warm‑up that activates the arms, core, hips, and legs through arm raises, torso twists, lunges, and spine stretches. She then moves into a cardio‑centric circuit featuring step‑across jumps, curtsy lunges, squat jumps, high knees, and fast‑foot drills, emphasizing core stability and proper landing mechanics. After raising the heart rate, Reena introduces a light‑weight strength segment using 3‑5 lb hand weights, including bicep curls with knee raises, overhead presses combined with lunges, and chest‑press curtsy lunges, all while reinforcing core engagement and breathing. The workout concludes with a cooldown that incorporates deep breathing, full‑body stretches (frog squat, shoulder circles, windmill), and a final relaxation cue. Throughout, she offers motivational prompts, safety reminders (e.g., keep knees behind toes, avoid bending at the waist), and practical advice on equipment and workout frequency, ending with a call‑to‑action to subscribe and share the video.

Hi guys, I'm Reena Vokoun with PassionFit, and I'm excited to bring to you today a quick boot camp workout that you can do when you are short on time and on the go. We're gonna start with a quick warm-up, and then we're gonna do some cardio work and some strength training with light hand weights. So let's begin by bringing our arms up and pushing back and squatting down. So arms come up, tuck in your core as you push back. Good. And then bring them up to about a 90-degree angle. Let's do a couple more like this. Here's 4 and up. 3, up. Good. Give me 2 more and then we're gonna go into a light easy jog. So start to pick up your feet. Start moving, get those feet off the ground and start to get your heart rate up. Good. Let's do a couple more jogs like this for 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3. And let's go into some torso twists. So turn side to side, tucking in your core and pivoting off that back foot, really warming up the upper body here. Good. Getting the waistline warmed up as well. And let's do 4 more. 3. Good. 2 and 1. And then we're gonna lunge side to side. Bring those arms all the way up, stretching out that upper body. Good. And then we're going to bring the arms forward, stretching out the spine. And let's do 4 more. 3, 2 And let's round your back, tuck that core under, stretch out the spine, and roll the shoulders behind you. And let's do 2 more. And last one. And then from here, you're gonna reach down, frog squat, and then reach those arms up overhead just to warm up the hamstrings and the glutes. Keep those knees behind your toes. And let's do 4 more. Good job, you guys. 3 more. Keep it moving. 2 more. And last one. And shake out your arms, and we're gonna begin. So the first set of exercises we're gonna do are cardio-centric. We're really gonna get the heart rate up. So we're gonna start where we step across and reach towards the floor. So you're gonna give me a jump, and then you're gonna reach to the floor. Tuck in your core as you do this. Really use the power in your legs to jump across from side to side. Good. Now if you want to get a little bit more challenge in your workout, you can actually touch the floor. But no matter which way you're doing it, whether you're reaching for the floor or touching it, I want you to avoid bending at the waist. You want to use your core and your leg muscles to do this. Let's do 8 more. 7. Good, really step across. 6, 5 more. Keep up the good work, keep that energy going. 2 more and 1. Good job, and shake it out. From here, we're going to do curtsy lunges. So you're going to step behind, lift one arm up to the ceiling, and then bring your arms in the middle. Is the center. So we're keeping that heart rate going, we're using our core and our legs. Good. And we're stepping behind. Keep using those legs, using the power to move all the way down towards the ground, and try to move that lower body in one unit. Let's do 8 more. Here's 8, across, 7, 6, keep up the good work. 5, you've got it guys. 4 more. 3, last 2, and 1. Good, catch your breath. And from here we're going to jump down and reach the floor and go into a squat. So you're going to jump, feet together, jump, feet together. Good, we're really getting a burst of cardio here, a little plyometric work. Using the legs, using that core, and bringing that upper body down to the ground. Excellent. 8 more. 7, 6, keep it up. 5, last 4, 3, great job. 2 and 1. And catch your breath. From here, what we're gonna do are high knees. So I want you to start to pick up those knees, use your upper body for momentum, tuck in the core, and keep that torso tall. Good, get those knees up there. I'm breathing hard, I hope you guys are too. Hopefully you've broken into a sweat by now. Good job. Let's do 8 and 7, good. 6, keep it up. 5. Last 4, make them bigger. 3 and 2, last one. Everyone catch your breath. Good. Bring that heart rate down before we kick it back up one more time. So I want you to pick up your feet next. Your arms are going to come up and down as you go with those fast feet. So get ready, here we go. Arms down, bring them up, really pick up the feet. Move it, move it, move it. Good job. Let's really get the heart rate going here. You guys are doing such a good job, so stay with me. Keep that energy up. You got it. Down and up. Let's do this for 4 more. 4, 3, last 2. Keep pushing, guys. And 1. And catch your breath. Good. Okay, we're gonna transition now into some work with your weights. So feel free to grab a light set of hand weights, probably no more than 3 to 5 pounds. And you're gonna bring your feet shoulder width apart, bring the arms up in a 90-degree angle, and push the arms back. We did something very similar to this in the warm-up, which was to prepare us for some of the strength training moves we're doing now. So tuck in the core. Good. Arms up, push back. Keep up the good work. Really watch your back here and then use the strength of your arms to push and pull back. Good. Let's do 8 more. Arms up. 7. Keep going, you guys. Stay strong. 5 more. You can do this. 3, really squeeze the core, point your bottom back. 2, last one. Good. And drop your arms for a second. From here, we're gonna do some bicep curls with knee raises so that we work the core and the biceps simultaneously. So you're gonna bring each leg up at a time as you bring those weights up to shoulder height. You're standing tall. And this is a bit of a recovery from all the cardio and plyo work we just did earlier. Good. So keep focusing here now on your strength training, tucking in those elbows close to your body and standing tall as you do that knee lift up to chest level. Good job. Keep breathing. Don't forget that. It's very important to keep the movement flowing and the blood flowing in your body. Nice deep breaths for 8 more. Good. 7, 6, keep it up, you guys. 5 more. 4, 3, last 2, and 1. Good. Let's shake out the arms. From here, we're going to go into some overhead presses with lunges behind us. So the weights are going to come up and bring them down and Switch legs. Good. Watch that front knee. Keep it behind your toes as you go back and step forward. So we're working the deltoids of the shoulders here while we're working the lower body at the same time. The core is always there to give us stability as well as balance. Let's do 8 more. Good. Step all the way back. Try to get that back knee as close to the floor as you can. Let's do 4 more. Excellent. 3. Last 2. And 1. And shake it out. From here, we're gonna do curtsy lunges with chest presses at the same time. So you're gonna bring your elbows and hands together as you step behind. So really watch the placement of your feet. Good, bring those elbows in and keep breathing. Good. Let's do 8 more. 7, great job, you guys. 6, we're being so efficient here with our workout and our time. Last 4, you can do this. 3, stay strong. 2, and last one. And drop those weights. Good job. From here, we're going to start to cool down and stretch. So everybody give me a big inhale up. You're going to reach down to the ground, relax the head and neck, walk over and lift one arm up in the air while you're tucking in your core. And then you're going to walk over to the other side, reach that arm up in the air. Come back to the center and then come down into a frog squat. Bring your hands together, push those knees apart to really stretch out the inner thighs. Turn your toes outward and then you're gonna round that back, slowly come up. Good. And bring the right and left arms up one at a time, rotating that shoulder. Good. Let's do 2 more. And 1. Bring those feet together and bring one arm down. Grab hold of your heel, bring it up to your bottom. Bend that standing leg, take a bow forward. Really tuck in the core, find your balance. And let's try the other side again. Tuck in the core, bend that standing leg, reach forward, step down. Good. Holding it here. And then we're going to finish up with a windmill. So arms are going to come up You're gonna bring it all the way around. Good, scoop your belly under, sweep the floor, and really get a full range of motion. We're stretching our entire body after that quick but challenging boot camp workout. And let's just finish up with 2 more. All the way around. And last time. And bring your arms down. Great job. You guys did such an awesome job. Again, that was a quick workout, but it's so effective. If you can do this a couple of times a week, especially if you can't make it to a gym or studio, or you're just short on time. I hope that was helpful for you guys.
