In this instructional video, Reena Vokoun, founder of PassionFit, demonstrates a complete at‑home, equipment‑free workout using only body weight. She walks viewers through a sequence of eight exercises—squats, side lunges, burpees, plank‑walks to push‑ups with shoulder taps, elbow planks with side steps, mountain climbers, crab reaches, and tricep dips—explaining proper stance, core engagement, and the primary muscle groups each movement targets. Throughout, she emphasizes that bodyweight training can be as effective as equipment‑based routines, offers cues for maintaining form, and encourages viewers to subscribe, like, and share the video.

Hi guys, my name is Reena Vokoun and I'm the founder of PassionFit. I'd like to talk to you today about what to do when you want to get a workout in but you don't have any available exercise equipment around you. Believe it or not, using your own body weight can be just as effective as using exercise equipment. We're gonna start with some squats, where you're gonna bring your feet about shoulder width apart, you're gonna tuck in your core, and you're gonna bring your arms around as you squat and pull the arms and elbows in. So in this exercise, you're working your lower body, your quadriceps and your glutes, but you're also getting a little bit of bicep work as well. You can do lunges side to side as well. So what you can do here is come out to the right side and then bring your feet together, and then come to the left and bring your feet together as well. So this is really working the lower body. You're really pressing on the floor and then using the strength of your core to lift yourselves back to that center point. In addition, you can do burpees. Burpees are great exercises to get your heart rate up, and really all you need is an exercise mat or a soft surface. So with a burpee, you're gonna come down into a frog squat, you're gonna jump back into a plank, tucking in your core, come back into a frog squat, and jump or stand up. So again, you come down into a plank, back into that frog squat, and jump or stand up. You can also, just using your mat or soft surface, do plank walks into push-ups. So tucking in your core, you're gonna come down to the ground You're gonna walk your hands to the front of your mat and go down into a push-up. You can also add shoulder taps where you tap each hand on the opposite shoulder and alternating push-ups in the center. This really challenges your core, especially on the sides where you have your obliques. From here, you can come right down to your elbows and do planks where you step behind on either side. So this again really works the core. You're getting the obliques and a little bit of glutes as well. From here, you can do mountain climbers. So come back onto the palms of your hands and you can bring your knees into your chest to really get your heart rate up. From here, we're gonna sit on our mat and we're gonna do crab reaches. So you're gonna bring your hands behind you, you're gonna lift your bottom up off the mat, and you're gonna reach across with the opposite hand to the opposite foot. This really challenges your core, and it also challenges your balance. From here, you're already in a great position to go right into tricep dips. So pulling your elbow straight back, you're dipping your bottom down towards the mat and bringing it right back up. So these are great exercises that you can do when you don't have any available equipment. Using your own body weight can be just as effective. Thanks so much for tuning in, guys.
