Hi, Richard Schreiber here, the software whisperer from RAS Consulting. And today we're going to talk about one of the five most often asked questions I get or frequently asked questions when deploying or building software, which is how much is it going to cost? And of course, at the outset, there is no easy answer because it's largely dependent on how many features, how many requirements, what you the client, want the software to do, because ultimately, that's going to translate into some formula with whoever the developer or software development house that you contract with in terms of the number of resources and the number of hours. But here's a tip for you in making that work a little bit better, and that is always try to go for a fixed price and when you negotiate versus a variable price or time and materials, because that can get away with you real quick.
