A short FAQ-style YouTube video where Richard Schreiber (Mari S Consulting) answers: how long will software take to create. He explains that timeline and cost depend on resources and total required features/user stories (developer hours), and recommends using agile project management with iterative two-week deliveries to get working software early and validate requirements.

Hi, Richard Schreiber here, Mari S Consulting, the Software Whisperer we help organizations and companies alike deploy successfully software solutions that help better their business processes. How do we do it? Well, we're able to navigate the pitfalls that often occur with software development, between the client, the creative and the technical aspects, the development teams and architectural teams. We're working on FAQs today, and the second question we get often asked is, how long will it take? And of course, that's a byproduct of our first faq. How much will it cost? It's dependent on how many resources and how long in terms of the number of hours that development team has to work on the software, which is directly correlative to how many features, how many requirements, or how many user stories. And one tip that I want to emphasize is the best way to develop software these days is through what's called agile project management. Do it in iterative steps, where you get little bits and pieces of working software every two weeks, and then you can determine that what you're getting is what you want.
