I'm Richard Shriver. I'm the founder of the Autism Innovation Community foundation as well as the New York City Autism Community Group. I'm inspired by my now 18 year old daughter who was diagnosed with autism at age 7. We had a particularly interesting and challenging journey. We got directed into the mainstream solutions at the outset, which is typical, and they didn't work for us and for our daughter. So we had to pivot and migrate more towards holistic and alternative and being a techie, tech oriented solutions for autism and that's what our foundation is about.
