Hey guys, so a lot of my clients have LLCs that do not have operating agreements. An operating agreement is required by law, and the main purpose is to set forth the rules of the business. An operating agreement sets forth things such as who the owners are, how profits and losses are going to be distributed to the owners, and the duties that each owner has and what roles they play in the business. It will also set forth things such as what happens if there's a dispute between the members and the procedure for when a member wants to leave or sell his portion of the business. So follow me for more tips on how to start or expand your business the right way.
