Robert Whitfield MD shares three post-explant recovery tips: get your bowels moving early to clear anesthesia and toxins, keep moving with short walks and gentle stretches every 60 to 90 minutes to reduce fluid buildup, and take glutathione, vitamin C, and methylated B vitamins to support detox and cut inflammation.
Three things you need to know for post explant surgery recovery. Rule number one.
Get those bowels moving.
If you're not having.
A bowel movement, especially right after surgery.
Then you're not.
Releasing toxins. You have a lot of things on board, anesthesia.
Toxins from.
Your implants, and we want to get.
Those moving out.
As soon as possible.
Get your body moving. While we do want you resting after surgery, we also want to make sure that we don't have stagnant fluid just sitting around in the body. Take a brisk walk every 60 to 90 minutes. Finger walks up the wall to really work on shoulder mobility and chest mobility. Moving your torso is also really beneficial. Either twisting to the side or bending forward can really help move that stagnant lymph and support your body with the right supplements. We see a very similar picture on DNA testing when we're looking at people with breast implant illness. We really need to support those detox pathways and also decrease inflammation in the body. And we can do this with supplements like glutathione, vitamin C, methylated B vitamins. A lot of these.
