Prior to surgery, I was to the point where I couldn't open a bottle of water. I couldn't take the lid off a jar. Opening the door to get in and out of the house hurt. Everything, it just hurt to close and open my hands. And about, it was about a week or two after my surgery, my husband and I were just sitting watching a movie and I was looking at my hands because, um, part of the BII was it kind of accelerated the arthritis I have, and my hands are starting to get deformed. And so I'm looking at my hands, and all of a sudden I realized I was opening and closing my hands. Mm-hmm. And I was like, wait a minute, that didn't hurt me. So I looked at my husband, I was like, look, I'm opening and closing my hands. And he says, no way. He jumps up, he runs to the kitchen, grabs a bottle of water, and he said, open this. And I opened it.
