A personal narrative (video) in which the speaker explains their decision to publicly share their experience of breast implant removal, motivated by conviction that sharing will help others and relates to concerns about biotoxins and autoimmune issues. The speaker had previously been private about having implants and had mixed attribution of their illness to implants but decided to be vulnerable and transparent.
But the more and more I thought about it I just felt this like really strong conviction to share it because I was like I know this is going to help people and I know me being vulnerable even though it felt really personal. I mean I asked my husband, he was like no, it aligns with everything you do. You're sharing your story, you're helping others. But I was like, oh God, like, you know, I'm going to announce that I'm getting my tits out when people don't even know I have implants because I'm pretty conservative. Most people wouldn't even know. And so I just want to share. The reason I did not get them out before is I always kind of knew about it like this whole biotoxin thing and breast implants and I talked to patients about it especially with autoimmune issues. But for me I started to feel better after I got sick so I didn't necessarily think it was fully that.
