Is it real? I grew up in South Florida so that's everyone has so let's talk about so anyway people were starting to not feel well and starting to relate them to their implants so let's just kind of do a quick what is breast implant illness? Is it real and if so what does that look like?
I think after six years of just taking care of patients who've been affected by this whether they're cancer patients or cosmetic patients for me I look at breast implant illness as a chronic inflammatory type condition. So if you just ask patients questions about the systems of the body and you can start from head and go to toe they'll have a complaint basically in every system of the body and I feel like that's really confusing to a provider because a provider, even a GP will become a little bit confused about the number or the litany of things that that patient who seems otherwise healthy is, you know, unloading.
