There is a paper that came out of Australia last year, now that it's 25 about the link between breast implant illness and mast cell activation. And it's really very impressive. When patients who thought that they had breast implant illness got their implants out within two weeks, their symptoms declined by like 75%. And at nine months, it was almost 85%. And even in the group that had their explants done who did not believe that they had breast implant illness, they actually had a 70% reduction in their symptoms as well. So what does that tell us? It tells us that silicone breast implants are causing mast cell activation, most likely in a lot of people, even if they're not aware of it. It's upregulating the immune system and causing issues.
