Robert Whitfield MD discusses removing and analyzing deflated saline implants, covering implant sizes and the biopsy process used to examine the removed tissue for further analysis.
Hey, it's Dr. Whitfield. We have some deflated saline implants we took out today. So we're going to open these up. This is a 600cc device. It's still the 960, but it's a 600cc device.
And this one is much thicker in terms of capsule. There were two layers of capsule on this device. This is a much thicker capsule.
This has a much thicker layer. Multiple capsule layers. There's the deflated.
Saline.
It's at 800. I'm sorry. It makes. Maybe this is an 800 as well. Yeah, this is an 800. So they're both 800s. They filled to 960. So that's an extremely large device. It's thick capsule. We already did biopsy these, and we'll send these off for PCR analysis. And the rest will sent off to make sure there's no breast cancer, lymphoma, or squamous cell carcinoma.
