Dr. Robert Whitfield recommends eliminating gluten and dairy, improving air and water quality, and taking liposomal vitamin D3K2, glutathione, methylated B vitamins, and vitamin C to manage breast implant illness symptoms before explant surgery. Genomic and toxicity testing can guide personalized treatment.
I get asked a lot, but I can't.
If somebody is listening to you and they are certain, they're like, I am this person, I know that I have BII, but I am just not in a place where I can get surgery right now, what should they be doing to support their body in the meantime?
If you're at a place where you know you're super symptomatic, you got to do the things you can control to get your symptoms, uh, diminished if at all possible. So if someone was, you know, really struggling I still lean into diet really hard. So definitely cutting out gluten and dairy and doing your best to control your air quality and fluid quality. Those things will help kind of right off the bat. The next step definitely is supplementation of those pathways. So, you know, we use liposomal vitamin D3K2, we use liposomal glutathione, liposomal methylated Bs and liposomal Cs., and then I have some carnitine and glucarate to enhance detoxification, support those pathways. And then when you do the testing with us, we're looking at your genomics and your toxicity, and those things help us like gauge, okay, you're, you're at this point.
