Dr. Robert Whitfield outlines his SHARP program, which assesses genetics, toxicity, gut health, and food sensitivities before recommending targeted supplements like liposomal vitamin C and methylated B-vitamins. The approach prioritizes fixing digestion and nutrient absorption over over-supplementation.

The reason, you know, I wrote the book Sharp about our methodology is I'm not trying to hide anything. We're very, you know, open about, you know, what we've done with Sharp. We feel it's the right way to prepare patients. And from a program standpoint, we're always looking to improve it. We already look at genetics and toxicity burden and gut health and food sensitivities. We always are trying to get people in better hormonal balance. And we try to supplement them properly, not over supplement them. I actually operate on patients on supplements. I don't stop them or discontinue them. We balance out what I'm comfortable with. So we use things like liposomal Z, sorry, liposomal C, D3K2, glutathione and methylated B. And then we have a couple simple powders that we use as well as protein powder. We want everybody to get as as much nutritional absorption as possible. Many of the patients I take care of had a lot of problems with just gut problems. Maybe they have constipation, maybe they have difficulty with just the digestion of foods in general. So we try to make it as simple as possible.
