Short YouTube #shorts where Robert Whitfield MD relays Dr. Feng’s philosophy that diet, nutrition, nutraceuticals, and lifestyle changes significantly affect surgical recovery. Emphasizes starting anti-inflammatory and detoxifying measures months before surgery, patient education, and concrete environmental/food-quality choices (air filters, water filtration, farmer’s market produce).

What I agree and wanted Dr. Fang to share her philosophy with about which you could go to her website and see she really cares about your diet just like we do at our practice. And I've become more and more rigid about who I'll work with because neither you or I can afford to have delays in recovery for our patients. Because that's not. I call that not a problem. That we can diminish that problem in our practices so we can work harder on diet and nutrition way up front and nutraceuticals and lifestyle changes and decreasing inflammation and toxicity burden by just making choices. Like we use Jasper air filters. We use echo water filtration. I'm fortunate I live near a farmer's market. I can go to a farmer's market and get higher quality, whether it's meat or produce or vegetables or what have you. We try to really educate our patients. Like, you have to start doing these things. You have to start lowering your inflammation before you ever have surgery. Like surgery is not the impetus to start. This process starts many, many months beforehand to get you into a better position.
