I'm now 3 months post op and what I can say about going back to just being a mom at home, it was a little bit tough for the first month back. Not gonna lie. I have three preteens, teenagers that are very active. They have a full schedule. After that one month I was back to going on vacation. Honestly, going through the detox at the same time and everything for me was more simplistic than I thought my healing was went really well. I didn't have to do pain medications and I know everybody heals differently. I'm an integrative health coach. I was already prepared to go into surgery and I would say just ensuring that your body's prepared going into surgery is just as important as post care. For surgery. I ate all the right foods. I followed protocol for all the supplements that Dr. Robb wanted me to follow and I feel like that really prepared me just to heal faster and to have less pain. Being able to be mentally clear. Going back home was a very big deal for me.
