Dr. Robert Whitfield explains why some patients stay sick months or years after breast implant removal and capsule surgery. He validates that these symptoms are real, identifies what might have been missed during explantation, and outlines next steps for ongoing recovery.

The talk tonight is why am I still sick after explant? And so you had your implants removed, so why do you still feel like this? Say we're talking, um, you know, and women who explanted a year ago, 5 years ago, 10 years ago, and they're still exhausted, they still have pain, they're still not themselves. And so that's a little curious to me. It's not what I see. But they've even been told usually that the implants are out and they should feel better now. Now I'm going to use this in the context they've already had a capsulectomy. Now if that's you, and to be clear about something in the first few minutes here, there's nothing wrong with you. If you weren't measured through our program, that would be the frame. So for the next 20 minutes, we're going to see Why wasn't that done? What can still be done regardless of how long it's been? So we want to do this now, not at the end.
