Dr. Robert Whitfield uses specialized equipment like a German-made Human Regenerator, hyperbaric chamber, and a six-foot red-light system to make fat transfer outcomes predictable. His clinic's protocol reduces swelling and inflammation after surgery, countering the belief that fat grafting doesn't last.

We also have some very specific guidelines that we use for fat transfers that are unique to my clinic, because in my clinic I have the human regenerator from Germany. I have a vertical hyperbaric chamber. I have flopresso machines from New Zealand to help remove fluid rapidly after surgery, and those are done in conjunction with nanov at the same time. And then of course, we have a big 6 foot tall juve red light which is great to help reduce inflammation and promote healing. We want to make the fat transfer process extremely predictable, and I feel like following the short method and the way we prepare patients does make that more predictable for patients. The the idea that fat transfers are either hard to do or they won't last or unpredictable is, I don't think, appropriate. I think it's not the right message to send a patient.
