Short YouTube interview (Shorts) with Danica Patrick and Robert Whitfield MD discussing the 'formula' for success, how professional racing built her toughness, and how that resilience prepared her for media scrutiny and public life.
It's. It's really about figuring out what formula you need to succeed. And succeeding looks can look very different. It doesn't. There's many ways to succeed.
So you. You took. That came back, and that helps elevate you here, obviously, because you'd already done and had all those experiences there, so probably very little phased you coming back.
Yeah, I was definitely cold and tough, and I. And. And it's already kind of in me. Like, if anyone's ever, you know, met me or know me and. Or even from a distance, like, I'm sure that you can sense that toughness in me, but it did a little extra. And I think that's what conditioned me for the. The spotlight and the judgment that would come with being in that position and being someone so different. So, yeah, learned a lot about life, not a lot about cars. Made me tough and got me ready for, you know, all the media and the arena.
Right. I think for everybody listening, it takes a great deal of focus to do certainly what you did, become professional at that at any level. I think most people don't really appreciate how incredibly difficult that is to get a ride and keep a ride as long as you did and do as well as you did over those number of years.
