A panel debates whether plastic surgery makes a good gift. Some argue people should choose procedures themselves or receive money instead, while others warn that donors might gift surgery to someone who isn't a candidate or has unrealistic expectations about results.
Whether it's a birthday, an anniversary, maybe even graduation. Is plastic surgery ever appropriate as a gift?
I mean, if we're talking about high school seniors, I mean, they're old enough to join the military. And I think if you're old enough to shoot somebody, you should be old enough to get elective cosmetic surgery.
I mean, I personally think that plastic surgery should be a gift to yourself.
Just gift the money, but don't gift exactly what the procedure is because that may not be what they want. That could give them self esteem problems. But if somebody's always wanted something like that and you want to gift it just like an anniversary present and that's what they wanted, that would be good. Of course they'd have to be a candidate for that procedure.
That's where I think you have to be really careful because someone may receive a gift and come in expecting a full mommy makeover or some kind of surgery that they're not at all a candidate for.
