A short YouTube video (shorts) in which Robert Whitfield MD and another speaker give rapid, practical health-reset tips. Recommendations in this clip include removing gluten, dairy, sugar and 'garbage' from the diet; stopping alcohol and smoking; getting exercise and walking; and simple environmental steps like using an air filter. The tone is conversational and pragmatic.
You take gluten and dairy and sugar and garbage out of your diet and.
You stop drinking, stop.
Boozing it up and get a, maybe a separate air filter and maybe go for a walk. You know, don't smoke, don't drink, like basic things, get some exercise. Things do turn around relatively. You know, I don't want to say quickly because that's not going to be the case for everybody, but those are all like self starters that don't cost anything.
I like to think of these as the boring basics. They're the base camp for someone who's a mountaineer. So I like to climb the mountain. I like peptides, hormone therapy, biologics. But you've got to dial in these boring basics. They're not having these sort of daily triggers with the way that they're eating. And I think the food that you're eating is such a critical part of this conversation. And so when you've got someone with a problem with the vitamin D receptor and you've got someone who's missing glutathione S transferase and they've got issues with their methylation pathway and you give them the right food, you know, a food plan that's anti inflammatory, if they're getting all the micronutrients dialed in, I think that makes a big difference in terms of their health.
