Robert Whitfield MD discusses opening his SHARP program to a broader audience to help people improve health without surgery. The conversation focuses on recommending an anti-inflammatory protocol and other non-surgical measures for symptoms such as fatigue and headaches; Whitfield reports that patients who start the protocol show reduced inflammation measured via testing and symptom inventories.
So we feel for the first time ever, we're going to open my program really up to everybody in a direct way so that we can help more people feel better without surgery. Because I can only operate on so many patients and nobody really wants to come see me for an operation.
Right. So what, you're just what everything you were just talking about, are you recommending all of that? Obviously, having an anti inflammatory diet and all that's good for everyone, but do you recommend that to, let's say someone's not feeling well, they have implants, they have some of these symptoms, maybe it's fatigue, maybe it's headache. I know many people that have had really terrible migraines and then had their implants taken out and felt better. So anyway, whether it's headaches, whether it's fatigue, do you recommend this protocol regardless of whether or not they choose to remove them? Because I'm assuming there are some people that might just go on the protocol and try to improve their symptoms, reduce their inflammation and then see how they feel, or do you recommend everyone take them out?
Well, the way I will tell you the protocol works, regardless whether you have surgery now or in the future, is because I have patients that sometimes take a year to get to me and they get started on the protocol.
Okay. Okay.
So I already know their inflammation drops. We've done it and evaluated it through testing and symptom inventories.
