This is a YouTube video titled "Breast Implant Removal: Aesthetic Restoration Options Explored" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion from June 30, 2025, focused on patient perspectives and surgical options related to breast implant removal and aesthetic restoration. The speaker discusses patient desires and surgical approaches but does not include multiple speakers or mention Dr. Robert Whitfield.
There are always some patients that say I want out and I don't want anything more than that. I'm not looking for a lift. I'm not looking for a fat graft. I want to feel healthy. I want to know that this was done a certain way and I'm going to abide by the patient request. But majority of women, if they placed an implant, they had a certain concern about their breast, whether it's size or shape or symmetry. And it goes to the sense of femininity and sensuality and motherliness. And just because the implant didn't work out, as I mentioned before, doesn't mean we forget about the breast. And so it's really important for a lot of these patients to be able to offer them aesthetic restoration or refinement at the time of explant to the degree that we can. It may or may not always be perfect, but we don't forget about that. So I do hear about explant surgeons that will not offer breast, lips and or fat grafting at the time of explant.
