Robert Whitfield MD describes a client, Lauren Bostic, who spent 1 to 1.5 hours in a 212°F barrel sauna and later showed high heavy metals in toxicology tests. Whitfield says extreme heat caused chemical leaching from her implants, not melting, similar to overheated plastic.

The body runs pretty hot anyway. But I always get in trouble for saying this, but there's. There's no test. And I had Lauren Bostic, my client, you know. Yeah, implants. And she came in is like, rob, I think I've melted my implants. And because she had this 212 degree barrel sauna at her house and she would get into it for her husband, said she'd spend like hour, hour and a half in at a time. Oh, my God. And I said, well, goodness gracious, that's. That's a lot. I don't. There's no study that's going to say, that's okay. And then I did her tox test. And for everybody who listens to my show knows we do a lot of toxicity burn testing, and she had all these heavy metals. And I've seen anybody have heavy metals like that on a tox report of mine, and I've got thousands of patients. Then you could have. It's the. It's not melting an implant, but it's causing chemical leaching. It leeches out. Like if you drink water out of a plastic water bottle, it's been overheated. So I took all sorts of grief over that shit and it just got on my last nerve. So now when people say stuff, I just, like, refer them back to her because it's her body, it's. It's what happened to her.
