A short conversational excerpt from a YouTube video in which Robert Whitfield MD emphasizes the importance of air quality, water quality, and food quality for high-performance health. The speakers discuss personal advocacy for cleaner environments and immediate behavioral dietary changes (e.g., eliminating processed foods, gluten, and dairy) as practical steps patients can take to improve outcomes.
You know, the air you breathe, the fluid quality and the food quality, because in the end game, you're a high performance machine, and that machine cannot perform without those things happening in lockstep.
I agree. I know, and we're not set up that way. I mean, it's, we're in a world that you have to be your own advocate there because you're not just, it's not like, okay, I can just go breathe the air and drink the water and eat the food wherever I am. You have to be your own advocate in what you can do to clear, make those things clean.
Do you try to get folks immediately upon intake and, and interview say, hey, I really want you to do like these things that are just really behavioral, like no processed foods, really eliminate gluten and dairy, and let's just see if that helps you, because I, I do that routinely with my patients because those are just behavioral modifications that you can do starting, you know, immediately start to make different choices that will affect the outcome. And so I always tell them tiny changes will actually cumulatively be impactful if you make enough of them and you're consistent with them.
Absolutely. And even getting an air filter in your rooms, like at least in your bedroom.
