Short YouTube video (a #shorts) featuring Robert Whitfield MD in conversation about parasites potentially contributing to illness. Speakers describe an anecdote of a patient passing a parasite and note behavioral/personality changes; they argue parasites thrive in bodies with high toxic burden and can sequester toxins and co-infections (mold/mycotoxins, Lyme, CO infections, EBV, heavy metals, plastics), worsening symptoms and energy.
Entirely different personality. And I was like, well, this is what changed here. And she had a picture of the parasite she passed.
So who's going to take advantage of that? The pathogens. And we have more reasons than ever for these parasites to overgrow because they do just fine in a stagnant environment. They do just fine in a body with a high toxic burden. They will actually hold onto toxins for you. So many parasite species, it's been found, will actually hold mold and mycotoxins for you from the mold. They'll hold Lyme and CO infections. They'll hold EBV for you. They'll hold heavy metals for you and plastics. So there is a symbiosis when your body is like, okay, I cannot upregulate enough my drainage and detox pathways to keep up with the oncoming insults from the toxicants. But then it just comes at such a high cost because those parasites will drive symptoms for you and steal your energy.
Different personality. And I was like, well, this is what changed here. And she had a picture of the parasite she passed. That was a real moment where I was like, oh, man, we're not paying enough attention to this problem.
Right? Let's talk about that, the behavior piece. Because parasites are really good at distorting our behavior.
