Short YouTube clip featuring Robert Whitfield MD and Lauren Bostic discussing risks of extreme sauna use for patients with breast implants. The speaker describes a patient (Lauren Bostic) who used a barrel sauna at 212°F and later showed very high heavy-metal levels on a toxicity test; Whitfield attributes this to chemical leaching from heated implant shells. He reports performing an explant (implant removal) with implants testing twice for absence of infection or biofilm, and notes the patient’s toxin levels normalized after recovery and not continuing the high-heat exposure.
She was baking her boobs.
So my patient, Lauren Bostic.
Yeah.
Cooking herself in a sauna. And she had the most heavy metals ever on a tox test. So I don't do that. And people ask me, can you do an ir? So I'm like, just wait.
She'S baking her boobs.
She was doing a barrel sauna at 212 degrees Fahrenheit.
Are you kidding me?
No. She's hard charger, so can't, you know, she's cooking herself. And we said on her show she was melting her implants anyway. So the process is chemical leaching for everybody who's going to be scientific and get, you know, hurt over this. So the shell has chemicals in it, heavy metals, blah, blah, blah. So if you heat that up, the process for every scientist listening is leaching the chemicals into your system. That's why they can be found on toxicity tests. And when we did her explant, which went perfectly, I might add, thank God, afterwards she went and spent the summer in Lake Como, came back, did her talks test again. Once again she did not detoxify other than go to Lake Como. And everything was gone. So you think it.
Was like Como?
Sure. I'm not Harry Potter. For everybody listening, she wasn't cooking herself anymore. And I took out her implants and I had them tested twice. They were not infected, they had no biofilm. It was purely what she was doing to them, which was stressing the device shell. Like nobody did the study and started sticking people in 212 degree saunas to see what would happen to them.
