A brief YouTube short (by Robert Whitfield MD) featuring a conversational exchange about women considering breast implant removal and how significant others respond. Speakers share anecdotes: some partners strongly oppose removal ("no fucking way. I love boobs."), while many are supportive after seeing a partner suffer; speakers advise leaving unsupportive partners and offering referrals for additional help. The clip ends with a prompt to Michael for his take.

And then Michael can give his take on it. Like, say, a husband and wife come in and the wife. Yeah, I want to hear all different stories. A lot of women are afraid to get their implants out because of their significant other. That is a fact. Yes. In fact, I have a friend that I was texting with, and I told my friend, hey, you're. You keep telling me all these things that your wife is experiencing. Could it be her implants? Maybe? Just look into it in a very gentle way. The guy literally said to me, no fucking way. I love boobs. So let's talk about that sort of, like, dark side of it that people aren't speaking on.
If that person left you after this, they weren't worth fucking having in the first place. So just move on from them and be done with them. And we refer out folks who need more help, but it is a big problem. But I would tell you I'm fortunate. The number of spouses and significant others that we interact with are very supportive of having it done because they want to help their significant other feel better at any cost. It doesn't really matter to them anymore because they've seen somebody suffer through this process.
