A short conversational transcript from a YouTube video in which Robert Whitfield MD discusses regenerative therapies. He notes personal use of autologous (adipose-derived) stem cells and argues autologous material reduces risk of immune reaction. He contrasts this with allogeneic exosomes, notes debates about aging-related quality decline of autologous cells, and comments that some regenerative procedures (including gene therapies) are available more broadly outside the United States. He expresses interest in gene therapy but admits limited direct knowledge.

So I've used my own adipose derived stem cells. Because it's your own genetic material, there's zero chance you're going to have that kind of reaction on your face. That's not going to happen. Secondly would be, you know, you guys talked about exosomes. So exosomes are allogeneic, which means obviously they're from not you, but another human. And just like you're speaking about umbilical, those are from. They're allogeneic. So they're obviously the same species. You're not getting them from non human. So, so those are probably. First is your own, obviously because your own genetic material, you're not going to react. Quality, people will argue as you age, the quality goes down. Whether you use those for injections in the face or a joint or an area where you're injured, that's the discretion of you and the provider you discuss it with. You can always have the iv. There are centers around the world that are doing things very, very proactive to help regenerate tissues, whether it's kidney, heart, lung, all these things that are beyond what we're doing in the United States. But I hope, you know, before I'm dust, some of those things will come to the country. Otherwise I have to go to other countries like you did.
Until then Tijuana.
Buenos Aires, but not Tijuana.
Cabo, I don't know.
Yes, I like, I like going to Cabo. I like to go to Cabo.
Cabo is more for the superhuman injection. Right. The gene therapy.
That's, I'm stoked about.
I haven't done it, but I totally will.
So that's, I mean all the things we're talking about now are what we would love to have available.
Are you a fan of that? The stent, the, the gene therapy?
So that's the one I know the least about.
Yeah, the newest, right? I mean it's.
Yeah. I mean if you think about it, that's the most like, like next level gene therapy. Obviously. I was in school, you, you would just be like, wow, they could do any of that. That would be incredible. And we're getting pretty close.
