Coming into town, I was a bit nervous because I only had two weeks to prepare for surgery, which is not very common. But coming into town, it was amazing. My husband and I, actually, it was almost like a mini vacation for us because we got to spend a whole weekend here, and we met with Dr. Whitfield beforehand. I met the entire team here. It was just a very welcoming environment. It didn't seem like I was meeting strangers. It almost felt like I was already meeting people that already had my back. They had already been supporting me on the phone, talking to me, texting me, and it was just a very comforting environment, and it made me that much more confident going into surgery. So, yeah, definitely, I would take the recommendations of Dr. Whitfield and, you know, pay attention to your ice packs.
