Toxicity Overload: Is Your Bucket About To Overflow?

17 May 2025 · 0 min

Robert Whitfield MD (speaker) explains a simple metaphor: the body accumulates "toxicity" up to a capacity (the "bucket"), and when capacity is exceeded patients "overflow" with symptoms. He gives examples of triggers that can push patients over the edge, such as mold exposure or major life stressors (trauma, death in the family). The clip is an introductory / explanatory remark about why patients can abruptly worsen when new exposures or stressors occur.
