A short video discussion (YouTube) about cognitive symptoms—'brain fog'—reported by women with breast implant illness. Speakers discuss frustration with scepticism about these symptoms and affirm that brain fog is real.
For breast implant illness. What do you find in the brains of women with breast implant illness?
So, so, like, I was upset when I would hear people be critical of the patients by saying, what? What the hell was brain fog?
It's so real.
And I was like, when someone from the client side said this to me for the first time, I said, okay, so I just need to understand exactly what that means to you. What, what is that? What are you describing to me? And I said, well, I have trouble remembering my kid's name. Yeah, God, I remember that. And then he said, I can't find my keys sometimes. I'm like, well, okay, that's short term memory loss. So if you just convey to the, to me as a provider, if you say short term memory loss, I understand that. Right. I don't know what the hell brain fog is.
