Robert Whitfield MD explains why standard liver tests miss detox problems. Your liver handles parasites, Candida, H. pylori, mycotoxins, and heavy metals, but normal bloodwork doesn't show if it's keeping up. Some toxins like mold need targeted interventions like glutathione and binding agents to clear.

Because you're not actually taking care of the patients if they have a parasitic infection in their gut, or candidal overgrowth, or H. Pylori, or if they have all these different mycotoxins or heavy metals on their tox test. If you don't, then help them with a detox. That's we like to supervise ours so we know what's going on, and then compare it and benchmark it against the previous toxicity test. And for everybody listening, your liver has to handle the brunt of this. So if your liver on blood work looks normal, that doesn't mean it's functioning well to detoxify. And many of the things like mold toxins or mycotoxins that get into the liver are not easily expressed. You have to challenge it with glutathione. You have to then go through the process of binding. And if someone has other problems, there's it's a longer process than just coming and having surgery with us.
