Robert Whitfield MD argues that breast implants trigger systemic inflammation and toxin exposure that overwhelm your detox organs. He shares his case: a patient saw minimal improvement from detox protocols until explant surgery, then the same protocol worked dramatically better. Remove the source first.

Breast implants drive up inflammation in the body, and due to the toxins that are in the implants, they're also going to create a lot of stress on those detox organs. So if those detox organs are under stress, then we can put all the supplements in that we want to, but we're still not going to be able to detox on those deeper levels until that source of inflammation and infection are removed. I used the same detox protocol that we used after surgery three times before I ever had my implants removed. While I saw some symptom improvement, I didn't really get rid of symptoms entirely after explant. When I finally did the same detox protocol, I was able to see such improvement in my labs and my symptoms began to disappear. So it's really about removing the source of infection and inflammation before going deeper on those other levels of detox.
