Power Vinyasa Yoga Intermediate | Benefits Of Vinyasa Yoga Regular Practice |Slow Vinyasa Yoga Class

In this 60‑minute intermediate vinyasa yoga class, recorded as day eight of a yoga teacher‑training program, the instructor guides participants through a comprehensive flow that blends warm‑up, standing sequences, balancing postures, inversions, and a restorative cool‑down. The session opens with a brief logistical note about a fire‑alarm inspection and the instructor’s nervousness about possible interruptions. After a seated grounding and neck‑stretch warm‑up, the class moves to tabletop work, downward‑facing dog, three‑legged dog, and a series of low lunges, half‑lifts, and sun‑salutation‑style movements. The core of the class features repeated cycles of Warrior II, Peaceful Warrior, Extended Side Angle, Triangle, and various lunge variations, interspersed with side‑plank, Wild Thing, and occasional arm‑balance cues. The instructor frequently cues breath, alignment, and modifications, while also sharing personal remarks (e.g., “my hands are slipping,” “I wish I wasn’t so sweaty”). The later portion includes standing balances (Side Crow, Half Moon), deeper backbends (Bridge, Upward‑Facing Dog), supine stretches (Butterfly, Lizard, Supine Twist), and a final Shavasana with a closing “Namaste.” The transcript captures the instructor’s instructional tone, occasional humor, and encouragement, providing a detailed map of the class structure and specific pose sequences.

Hello, welcome to day eight of my yoga teacher training. So we are doing the vinyasa flow. It's going to be a little bit different from yesterday because yesterday was only 45 minutes and today it's going to be 60 minutes. But it is still going to be an intermediate flow. So Me and you are both going to be challenged. Um, I am a little nervous because I can hear the service guy going through my hallway right now to check the fire alarms in the apartment building, so I'm worried that he's gonna try to come in here and disrupt the flow. Um, so just a pre-warning in case I have to get up and let him in to do The inspection. So if that happens, I will just—I'm not really sure what I'm gonna do. I might pause the video. I might pause the stream. I'm not sure. I'm just gonna follow my instincts as it comes. All right, thank you. Let's begin.

I mean, you can learn from me naturally in the future, but for now I'm using them, I'm learning from them. So Down Dog app, really awesome stuff. So they've kind of inspired me, so they are helping me while I'm kind of like learning, training, and And then that way I could obviously teach in the future myself. So yeah, so thank you. There's a guided meditation at 12:15. I'm going to try to use one of the meditations off the Down Dog app because I'm also getting kind of like bored from the other meditations. I'm just willing to try something new, you know. So at 12:15 Got a meditation. Join, enjoy. All right, talk soon.
