Ryan Deiss ranks five marketing channels for $20M companies: short-form organic social first, then partnerships, events, cold outreach, and podcasting last. He argues short-form content drives the most impact at this scale, while podcasting rarely works for most businesses.

Marketing channels when you're at $20 million. Short form. At $20 million, I'm going to say 3. You definitely should have some type of organic social. Short form is going to be pretty big at this point. Next is podcasting. 5. I just don't think podcasting is an appropriate channel for most businesses. Then we have events. 4, only because it doesn't apply to every business. But if you're an event-heavy business, either from putting them on or from attending, it could go to 1, but I'm going to say 4. So we got 1 and 2 left. That's right. Okay. All right. Next one is partnerships. 2. Yeah. Partnerships at this point at $20 million are what's going to drive the business to the next level. And the final option is cold outreach. Cold outreach should not be number 1, but if that's where it is, then that's where it is. I would have moved short form to number 1. I would have had partnerships at 2, events at 3, cold outreach at 4, podcasting at 5.
