Do everyone a favor and stop making yourself miserable.

Speaker B says if your employer lacks integrity or pays poorly, that discomfort is a signal to leave. Speaker A adds that those with financial means should use their resources to find better work, and business owners should try to re-engage unhappy employees or let them go.

Dave, if you think they're a bunch of bozos, if you think they don't have integrity, if you think they don't pay enough, this is a free country. Quit. Why do you keep working for someone that you think is a crook? Dave is such a delicate flower. That says more about you than it does about them. When you no longer trust leadership, when you no longer believe in the cause, when you don't think the product or the service that the company puts out is quality and you're no longer proud of it, that's God speaking to you. God has a plan for you. He loves you, and it's not to bring you harm. It's to bring you hope. He designed you in such a way that you're supposed to do certain things. Folks work for us for a season sometimes. Sometimes they're healing while they work for us and they go out, they start their own businesses. Sometimes, sometimes they move on to other things. All of that is fine. The only thing that's not fine is staying in a place that you hate. When your spirit leaves, for God's sakes, take your body with it.
When your spirit leaves, for God's sake, take your body with it. Yeah, I love Dave. And people are going to hate on this and they're going to call it privilege because not everyone has the ability to leave a job they hate. I don't buy that. I don't buy that for you. If you're watching this right now, if you have one of these things, you have the means, you obviously have the money, you obviously have the time. So if you hate your job, use the time and the money that you're spending to watch stuff like this to either find something better or to make yourself better so that you can freaking quit. Life is just way too short to spend it doing something that you hate. And look, business owners, business owners, I'm talking to you. When you can see that someone on your team is no longer loving life at your company, don't let them linger. It's bad for the company and it's also bad for them. So engage with them, support them, coach them up, see if you can reignite that spark. But if you can't, don't let your company be their best worst option. Make the decision for them and just release them to the marketplace. You're both gonna be better for it.
