A short YouTube monologue by Ryan Deiss addressing entrepreneurs who feel they "hate" their business. So here's how you buy 50 laundromats in the next 30 days. Is it normal for me to hate my business right now? Yeah. Yeah, completely normal. I think if you ask any honest parent, they would tell you that sometimes they hate parenting, and they would tell you that sometimes they hate some of their kids. So I think it's completely fair as a business owner to definitely hate your business from time to time. The question I ask them is, do you hate your business or do you hate your job? Because more times than not, we actually love our business, and we just hate the work that we're doing inside of our business. If you find that you hate your business, I got two suggestions for you. Number one, take a vacation. When somebody comes to me and they're like, I hate my business, my first question is always, when was the last time you took a vacation? And the answer is, almost always, I don't remember. But if you go away for a week, all of a sudden you've got some really great ideas that you can bring back. Other times, you just got to look at what you're doing day to day, and you're just doing the wrong thing. Somebody else should be doing it. You need to make a hire. You need to make a pivot. Either way, you probably don't hate your business. You probably hate your job. Take a vacation, shift roles. It's your company you get to decide to do that.
