Ryan Deiss explains why $3-4 million in revenue is "no man's land": you need eight-figure systems and talent but only have seven-figure cash flow. It's like trying to race a bike you can't afford to upgrade.
I'll tell you, $3 to $4 million sucks. I've been in every business you could be in. Service, software, e-commerce, retail. I will tell you, $3 to $4 million in revenue, really $2 to $8 million sucks. That is no man's land.
It's 'cause you can't afford like great stuff.
Bang up.
You know what I mean?
All the problems and complexities of an 8-figure business with the cash flow and the margin and the experience of a 7-figure business to support it.
It's like you're a cyclist, but you can't afford a really nice bike yet. Right, yeah.
You know what I mean? So you're like, I gotta know, Okay, bike.
And that's your team, that's your system, that's everything is like, you can't afford like the best yet. And so you gotta like try and get by with like patchworking together a team of kind of B, C players, you know what I mean? Or maybe you can afford to hire somebody who's really expensive but not full-time, right? Or whatever.
