A single-speaker business coaching monologue advising founders about a difficult scaling zone (the "swamp") roughly between $2M and $6M in revenue. The speaker argues many entrepreneurs get stuck near $5M because they incur eight-figure-level complexities and overhead without proper systems, and recommends installing systems around the $2M mark to enable rapid, systemized growth toward $10M.

Most $2 million founders make more than $5 million founders. Why? Because $5 million without systems equals overhead. Hell, growth isn't the goal. Systemized growth is the goal. Look, until you've been there, I don't think you quite realize how sucky the swamp is. Between about 2 million and 6 million in revenue. And the reason is simple. At about 2 to 4 million, that's when you have all the complexities, all the costs of an eight figure business. With the revenue and with the team of a seven figure business to support it. Entrepreneurs just kind of blindly saunter into this zone because they don't know what they're doing and they get surprised. And so if you know that no man's land is there, what you do is you need to pause momentarily. At about 2 million, you need to install the systems that are going to give you the leverage to make it through this no man's land, to make it through this swamp of scale, so that you can quickly go from 2 million to 10 million. Because at about 10 million, that's when it gets really, really good. But don't get stuck at five. Five sucks.
