A short YouTube clip by Sandra Abrams giving practical, cautionary advice about cryptocurrency wallets and the critical importance of recording seed phrases. She defines a seed phrase (12–24 random words), relates a personal loss from not saving them, and urges viewers to write down all words to avoid permanent loss of access.
12 to 24 random words.
I can tell you what not to do in crypto. Cryptocurrency wallets, that's where you store your cryptocurrency. The most important part about cryptocurrency wallets is that you have something called a password. They call it a seed phrase, because a seed phrase is 12 to 24 random words. It's like a key, like a key to your safety deposit box. You know where the key is. Always where you know where it is, it's safe. A seed phrase, 12 to 24 random words. You have to write them down. Those are your key, your password, your access to your wallet. I didn't do that the first couple of wallets because I thought, what are you giving me all these words for? They're so random. Now I've lost that money, no access to those wallets ever again. Write down those seed phrases. Write down all of the words.
