How to Make 2020 The Healthiest and Happiest Ever

Sachin Patel (founder, Living Proof Institute) leads a live workshop titled "How to Make 2020 The Healthiest and Happiest Ever" focused on shifting health paradigms from passive patienthood to patient-led self-care. He emphasizes intention-setting, happiness as foundational to health, and a systems approach: reset hormones, reset the nervous system, and reset lifestyle. Key practical recommendations include improving sleep timing and light exposure, sunlight and nature exposure, strategic intermittent fasting, reducing chronic stress via breath/Vagus activation (HeartMath/HRV training), varied diet for microbiome resilience, reducing toxic exposures at home, community/support and coaching. He presents case studies (including reversal/reduction of insulin in a diabetic patient), describes a Metabolic & Lifestyle Reset 10-week program (online + some in-person, lifetime materials) and gives program pricing (one-time 1499 or three payments of 549).

Good morning everyone. Good morning. Happy New Year. Yeah. So first of all, I want to just say thank you to each and every one of you for showing up today, for being here today, for getting your new Year off to an amazing start. And in today's presentation, you guys are in for a real treat. We're going to be sharing some amazing, transformational, life changing information with you guys. But one thing to note is information and knowledge is really nothing without action or strategy. So how I wanted to start this morning is I really want you guys to just take a few minutes just to set an intention for this workshop, for today, for the New Year. And really just if you can even take away one piece of information from today's workshop and really apply it in your day to day lives, it'll make such a difference in terms of how your year goes. So, you know, just if everyone can just close their eyes, take a few deep breaths, just feel your feet on the ground, get grounded, feel yourself in the seat, just bring awareness to your natural breath, your inhale and your exhale as it leaves your chest. And just take a few minutes to think of how you want your year to go. What's your intention for this year? I used to set New Year's resolutions, New Year's goals. But this year and last year, I've really tried to focus on intention and I'll share what my intention is for this year. My intention is to serve with love and gratitude every single day and to really make a difference in people's lives. Just take a few more minutes and when you're ready, you can open your eyes. Okay?
Awesome.
So our speaker today is actually my husband. His name is Sachin Patel. He is the founder of the Living Proof Institute. And we have an office here located in Mississauga and we also have a remote office in the US and we really believe that the doctor of the future is the patient. Which means that you really have the power to take back your health and to decide how you want your health journey to go. And so today Sachin is going to be sharing some amazing pearls with you as I have mentioned. So, you know, hopefully you have a pen and a notepad. We have some paper and we have some pens in the back as well. Take some notes and like I said, just focus on one thing that you can do for, you know, the next few days. It's all about consistency. If you can apply that in your lives, it'll really make a huge difference. So without further ado, I want to introduce Sachin and he'll Take it from here. Thanks, everyone.
Thank you. Deepa, I need the mic. Okay. I totally put her on the spot and told her to introduce me like, three minutes ago. But that's what happens when. When you do everything from the heart. It comes naturally, right? There's no. There's no dress rehearsal for life. We got to be ready for life. We have to be resilient for life. And when we're called into action, we've got to show up. Is that correct? How many of you have been called into action at some point in your life where somebody needed you, your company needed you, your kids needed you, and you had to be there for them? Does that ever happen to anyone? Raise your hands. Keep them high. Okay. And so I want to. I want to say something to each and every one of you because I know you didn't come here. I hope your wife didn't drag you here. I hope your husband didn't drag you here. Actually, I would love if your husband dragged you here. Whose husband dragged them here? All right. That needs to change, doesn't it? Yeah, of course it does. Right? That needs to change. But I want to call into action for you to play all out today. So when I ask you to raise your hand, don't do this, okay? I want you to raise your hands as high, as healthy as you want to be. Is that okay? That's not a tall order, is it? Everyone wear deodorant natural. Do we have natural crystal deodorant in the back? So can you play all out? Okay. Because I'm going to play all out. And really, the more you play all out, the more I play all out and the more fun we have. Okay? Imagine like a volleyball game and the other person's, like, not even facing you, right? They don't have. They're playing like this. Don't play like that. Right? We're going to go all out fair. Okay, awesome. So my objective is to try to teach you how to make 20, 20 and beyond really the healthiest and happiest, because both go hand in hand. I've never met a person, ever, ever met a person who is truly healthy that isn't also truly happy. In the future, there'll only be one question. I mean, hopefully soon is, are you happy? Because if you're not happy, if you don't wake up every day looking forward to life, looking forward to a better future, then what's the point of being healthier? If you don't love your life or if you're not building a life that you Want to lean into every single day. What's the point of being healthier? So it really starts with happiness. Is that fair? Like, if you're not happy and you live to 150, that's a death sentence, right? I'd rather have a do over at that point. If you believe in karma. Right? So let's focus on what makes us happy, because what makes us happy will ultimately be what makes us healthy. Make sense? All right, so my mantra for this year, and maybe some you can get inspired by this, is to love yourself. Love myself to life. You know, we love things to death, don't we? So you'll say, I love my kids to death, and that's how they murder them, with food. It's true. We feed our kids stuff we wouldn't feed our dogs. We feed our kids things that we wouldn't feed other people's dogs. Okay? So today I'm going to give you an option. You can either hear tough love or you can live a tough life. Which one do you want? Who wants some tough love? Okay. Who wants a tough life? Okay, well, I think they have snacks out there. You're more than welcome. You know, you got to be careful what you raise your hands to. I mean, this thing is super powerful, right? Only people who don't understand the power of intention, of words, of our thoughts. It's only those people who don't pay careful attention to those things. I. I wield my thoughts like a sword, okay? My thoughts are like a sword that can cut through or create whatever I want. You've got to live with that level of intention every day. And if you're like, oh, my God, that's impossible, then I promise you, health is impossible. Because the next question is, why do you want to be healthy? I mean, these are existential questions. These are important questions. I mean, I don't think your doctor is going to ask you this. That's the universe speaking back to us. So why, okay, why do you want to live longer? What impact do you have to make? Why were you given this genetic lottery? You won the lottery ticket the moment you were conceived. If your body was trying to kill, you would have done that already a long time ago. Your body's the only thing that's working for you. But in our current medical system, we villainize the body, don't we? The body's broken, doesn't know what it's doing. So we got to micromanage it, we got to give it drugs, we got to cut off body parts because your body doesn't Know what it's doing. Who here thinks that their body doesn't know what it's doing? So why is that the governing paradigm of our healthcare system? Who here thinks somebody else can make them healthy? So why is 50% of our tax dollars going to a system that believes that? Do you see how upside down and broken it is? You know, here's the crazy fact, and my wife told me, don't go off on your soapboxes. Who wants soapboxes? Yes. No, because I already know the slides. We can go through the slides, but I want to give you something more because you came here. Or I could have done a webinar, the same thing. All right? I can have 10 times as many people on a webinar, and it's way less work for me, and it's way easier for me to do. But I love serving my community. That's why I'm here. Okay, what was I talking about? Soapboxes. Yeah. So I love doctors. I love nurses. They are amazing people. But you could put really nice and amazing people in a bad car that doesn't have all the parts working and is driving in the wrong direction, and it's never going to get you where you want to go. So it's not about the people. It's about the process. It's about the paradigm. So today we're going to shift paradigms. Okay? Raise your hands if you want a cure for cancer. It's kind of a trick question, right? Because who benefits from a cure for cancer? People with cancer. What do you think would happen if we found a cure for cancer? Would people take better care of themselves or would they not take care of themselves? So if we have this prevailing paradigm that somebody else is going to fix you, that the cure is coming. How many of your parents were promised cures? How many of your grandparents were promised cures? Do you think that cure is coming? Do you think there is one pill that can love you back to life? So how much more money are we going to spend looking for it? How much time are we going to waste? How many people's lives are we going to waste looking for a cure when it's impossible to be healthy that way it is physiologically, biochemically, spiritually, emotionally, anatomically impossible. So how much more time are we going to waste thinking that that's the answer? Soapboxes, slides. What do you want? Both. Okay, let's do it. So love yourself to life. And you have to ask yourself, with every turn, with every opportunity, at every intersection in your life, am I moving towards this direction or am I not moving in this direction? That's it. That's how simple it is. Your values have to be sacred to you. And if you can keep them sacred, that's when your life starts transforming. All right, so a little bit about me. That's my son, Devin. He was here earlier setting up. So he set the powerful child intention into the space of curiosity and vulnerability and service. But he's heard me many times. I always try to convince him to stay, but he'll watch the replay. That's him in the middle. That's my beautiful wife, Deepa. And that's me. But you get to see me live today. So on a webinar, I would have this slide up because people may not get to see us, but you know, we're here live today. And you know, I started my career as a chiropractor because I thought I wanted to help athletes, because I thought I wanted to help people run faster and lift heavier weights and win gold medals. And I did all that. Okay, so I had a couple of gold medalists, some, you know, Olympic silver medalists in multiple sports. I've helped some of the world's strongest athletes get. Get even stronger. So I kind of did all that. And then one day I was on the news because of that, because of all the great work that our company was doing. This is back when I lived in Cincinnati. And so they did a story about elbow pain because we helped this one lady, Connie, get rid of her elbow pain that she had seen multiple surgeons for, she had seen multiple physiotherapists for, and we had helped her. And so that resulted in us being on the news on a story about golfer's elbow and tennis elbow. That night when the story aired, it basically flooded our phone line. And we had so many people calling our office, we didn't know what to do with them. And so as I started seeing these clients, remember, I'm a chiropractor focused on sports injuries. We went from seeing some of the healthiest people in our community, people who are running three hour marathons, to people who couldn't even walk. So the people that were calling in were desperately sick. The newspaper wants to control how you feel. Anyone who's in control of your emotions. If external forces can control your emotions, external forces can control your health. If I keep people stressed out and in fear all the time, are they going to create great health? Probably not. Also on time freedom, geographic freedom, and financial freedom, I want to help activate human consciousness. That's the next evolution of this body, okay? So people think, oh, it's getting stronger here. No, it's getting stronger here. This is the next evolution for humans, is unlocking our own capabilities, which most people. When you get deep into this, you start to realize how capable you are. Okay? And then really create a world our children can thrive in. Because I don't want anyone I know to get sick and then learn how to get healthy. I want to start creating health from the beginning. Does that make sense? And that's what you want for your kids too, right? Like, I see parents taking their kids to, you know, math tutoring and, you know, extracurricular activities and things like that. But the greatest advantage you can give your children is good health. Trust me. And that's not something you can buy. You can't buy good health. You have to earn it. Okay, so why are you here today? I want to get an idea of why some of you are here today before I dive into this, because I want to know what brought you here. What compelled you to come? Marianne, you want to share because you had the one bullet that said, take less supplements. Okay, Less supplements. Who wants to take less supplements? Raise your hands. Because the opposite of that is more. Right? So the other. Okay, so those in the back, you can. You can let us know if you want to take more. Why else? Why else? Is somebody here? Anyone want to share? Go ahead. I'm doing it for better health reasons. I like heart health. Okay, great. Two years ago, I had an incident. I met a cyclist and I had a blood clot in my heart, So I changed my whole lifestyle and eating and everything and trying to learn different ways to keep my heart healthy. Great. Isn't that amazing? Like, we have such an amazing system that can do that for people. Give them a second, third, sometimes even a fourth chance at life. All right, so. So it's. I'm so grateful for that because now you can inspire so many people. Right? Yeah. That's great. Thank you. Thanks for sharing. Somebody else had their hand up. Yep. Up here.
Living group helped him two years ago.
Okay. And every time I listen to you, like, yeah, okay, sure. So we. We are in this. We're moving that direction. And every time I continue. Awesome. Thank you. Okay. Amazing. Thank you for sharing. And it's. It's always. It's always nice when you can make a positive impact in somebody's life. That's. That's what I love about our modern day world is, is that we can impact so many people. So here's who this. Anyone else want to share why they're here. Sure, Sam, go ahead. What about. Very interested in longevity. Okay. Particularly the health span and lifespan. I want it to be as close together as possible. I don't want to die at 80. Sorry, physically die at 100, but really emotionally and practically die at like, 80. Disease. Yeah. I don't want to live the last 20 years in a state of ill health. You know, the average age of infirmary in some countries is three weeks. In North America, it's 10 years. 10 years. So age of infirmary means how long you're incapacitated. You know, you need full service care. So in countries like Indonesia, it's three weeks. Okay. Here it's 10 years. It's a long time. Okay? So this presentation really is for those of you who are starting your journey. Some of you might be making this a resolution for a lifetime. It's some of you who are in the thick of your journey. So I see some clients here who are actively going through care, and it's looking for. It's also for those people who are looking to inspire others and teach others. Sometimes we have healthcare practitioners that come here, and then it's for those of you seeking the next level. Okay? So no matter where you are in life, I learned from my coach, Mr. Tim Grover, who's also Michael Jordan's coach. I learned from him that there's always another level no matter where you are. Okay? And the people at the top of whatever they're doing, do they stop practicing or are they always inching for that next level? So you got to live life like that. You got to be inching for that next level of you. Okay. Of who you become. As I mentioned earlier, I like nature as a metaphor. And if I look at a tree, you know, nature has deep wisdom in it. If I look at a tree, is there ever a branch that's bigger than the trunk? What would happen? The tree would split. Right. So there's no branch of our life that can grow bigger than us being the trunk. So if we want to grow every area of life, we've got to grow ourselves. Right? So one thing I'd add to what Phil said is you don't just want great heart health, you want great health everywhere in your body. Right? That's what all of you want. The same blood goes everywhere. So when we give somebody a label of a disease or a diagnosis, does that mean that every other part of their body somehow magically has no problems? Same blood goes everywhere. Just like if you have bad oil in your engine, does that just destroy one part or all of it. All of it. Okay. It might break down in one area first, but all of it gets destroyed eventually. All right, so let's talk about your health. You know, as Deepa mentioned, we believe that you're the doctor of the future. That's really the only solution that we have. Can anyone think of a better solution than teaching you how to take better care of your health? Can anyone think of a more affordable solution, a more ethical solution, a solution that creates a better world? Because I'm all ears. That's what this is. The conclusion I've come to, that the only solution we have to our healthcare system is for you to learn how to take care of yourself. There's ample time in school for us to learn how to take care of ourselves. It's not by coincidence that they don't teach anything about health, wealth, and how to grow your own food in school. And it's not by chance that those are the most profitable industries on the planet, right? So if we don't teach people how to take care of themselves, physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, and we don't even. We disconnect them from their food source, then we can feed them garbage and call it food. And that feeds all the other systems. If you woke up healthy and happy tomorrow, our economy would crumble. This is a new paradigm of you becoming healthy. Okay, it really starts there. I want to play this short video here. Excuse me one second. Turn this off. What will your last 10 years look like? Will you be quick enough for a game of tag with your grandchild? Strong enough to embrace every moment? Will you grow old with vitality or get old with disease? It's time to decide. The average Canadian will spend their last 10 years in sickness. Change your future at make health last. Ca. Powerful video, right? Did you notice what the website was? So, I mean, they obviously know the research, right? Your last 10 years. Like I said, you know, people need a lot of help. They need a lot of service. And there's nothing wrong with serving people and there's nothing wrong with needing help. We're all going to need that at some point in our life. But if our objective is to be less of a burden on our families, less of a burden on society, then it's our responsibility as well as citizens of this planet to take better care of ourselves, right? As citizens of our community. But if you look at the website, the website's Make Health last. Make health last. Say it one more time. Make health last. Do you see the messaging? So here's the thing. The English Language is a language that can be used as a tool or it can be used as a weapon. So I can weaponize this language against you because words sound the same. You know, the most perfect language ever created is Sanskrit because there's zero ambiguity in that language. So I can use the English language to say one thing, but really say something else. Okay? And once you start seeing that, you'll see that everything's in plain sight. Nothing is hidden from you. You just use. You're not decoding things the way you're supposed to. Okay? So make health last. I'm like, I see this stuff everywhere because I understand that this language is a weapon or a tool. I use it as a tool, but I also make sure it's not being weaponized against me. Okay? So I'm like, I wonder who owns the website Make Health first, because that's what it should be, right? Make Health First. Health should be your first priority. It's actually me now. Nobody owned that website. So if you go to makehealthfirst.com, it'll redirect you to my living proof website. Okay? Isn't that funny? Hilarious, right? So this is my life, you know, if you don't own your health, somebody else will own your disease. So you can choose, you know, so who's ready to really claim your best life? Now that you have, like the soap notes of. Of my life and kind of our vision and our paradigm for you, you get to. Yeah, it feels good. It feels good to stretch, doesn't it? I did lats yesterday, so I'm getting a good stretch every time I raise my hands. So. So really, like, now you get an idea of where my passion comes from. I hope. I hope you get a sense of that. Okay, this is the paradigm. This is the lens. This is the filter that we're going to put everything through. And so if you agree with maybe not everything, but at least a lot of the things in the direction that we're going in, then this is a good presentation for you. If you disagree, then this is an even better presentation for you. Okay? All right. So today, believe it or not, you will take 23,000 breaths. Believe it or not, your heart will beat a hundred thousand times, sending blood to 70 trillion cells in your body, which are performing at this moment, one septillion functions. So you are a universe in action. Right now. You are the highest form of cosmic intelligence. Now, if one cell from your body was found on Mars, what would it be? It'd be the greatest discovery of all time. Wouldn't it? Intelligent Life, you've got 70 trillion of them at your command at any given moment or at somebody else's command at any given moment. If we let people get up here, you know, here's what you have to realize. Marketing is what people pay to get into your brain. That's what marketing is, right? That's why pharmaceutical companies spend more money on getting into your brain than actually fixing it. So your cells are the highest form of intelligence in the entire cosmos. So if all this talk does is inspire you a little bit, if I can help you live 1% longer, I've added 270 days to your life. Pretty confident I can do that. Okay, what about 5%? Okay, now we're talking a couple years. Okay, about four years. So 5%. Can you be. Who can be 5% better this year to live four years longer? That's a pretty good. That's a pretty good trade off, isn't it? So I'm not really asking you for much. So if that's all this talk does, then we're good. I'm good. Okay. My dharma is fulfilled. So I want you to listen for yourself, but I also want you to listen for somebody else. I want you to listen for your future self. Because you might have to come back to these notes. Some of the stuff I told you today, it took me 10, 12 years to learn. So I'm not expecting you to drink everything I'm saying today. I want you to digest it. I want you to process it. Some of you are deep in these areas. Some of you are focused on your lab work. Some of you are focused on sharpening this sword, right? So you were all here at different stages of our health. Does that make sense? But there's always room for improvement. So listen for your future self. I believe that nothing can fix your body better than it can fix itself. It literally built itself. It's literally rebuilding itself as we speak. During this presentation, billions of cells will die and completely replace themselves. That's happening inside of you right now. Every time you have to shave, you know, I'm reminded that my body is continuing to grow. Okay? I used to be annoyed by shaving, but now it's a reminder, right, that this vessel is growing every day, right? So our nails grow. Our skin is growing. Every 30 days, you get new skin. Every six months, you get a new liver. Every three days, you get a new digestive lining. 3,000 square feet replaces itself every three days. And who am I to blame this, right? Who am I to blame the vessel? It's doing all this work. Right. It's the only thing that's working for you in this. In the entire cosmos, this is the only thing that's working 100% for you. So how dare we call it broken? Right? Do you see how that rips us apart? And then it'll always keep us looking outside for the answers. If I can convince you you're broken, then you'll always look outside. Make sense? So when I'm not feeling well, I don't reach for the cabinet. I reach inside and I start asking the right questions. Okay. It is that simple. But you have to have a real careful evaluation of where you're starting. And this is important. Most people think that they're. They don't really have a good perception of what great health is. And who do they compare themselves to? They compare themselves to other people who are maybe not well. Like, oh, I'm better. I'm better off than that person. But there's a difference between being normal and being vital. Who wants to be vital? Raise your hands. As vital as you want to be. Yeah. And I can see some of you are in pain and you're reaching. I love that. I can see the grimace on your face. But you're reaching. That means a lot to me. And you're telling your body a very powerful message. So you have to have a careful assessment of where you are so that you could reach. Okay. Remember, when you get blood work done, you're actually being compared to other people who are getting blood work done. Healthy people don't get blood work done just for the fun of it. Okay? So just remember who you're comparing yourself to. Average is 5. You have to have an approach where you're looking at the roots. Okay. Not up here. Because it's the things that are in the roots that create the fruit of the tree. And so our goal isn't to paint the leaves green, because we can certainly do that. Our goal is to dig a little bit deeper and find out what's going on, because I'm not trying to grow one branch. Who wants to grow one branch on their tree? Who wants to grow all the branches on their tree? Yeah. That doesn't happen above ground. That happens below the surface. Make sense? All right, so in the next 60 minutes, I'm going to teach you how to have abundant health. And I'm going to go a little bit faster, but here we go. Here's why most programs fail, because they focus on diet and exercise alone, and people end up hating them. You should never feel like you're being punished by eating healthy, right? It's the first time in human history people complain about eating healthy. Go figure. So you should love what you eat. Most programs also don't reset the hormones or the central nervous system. The central nervous system, as you'll learn a little bit later, is what governs the healing systems in the body. And many people don't get into. Take into consideration the subconscious mind, okay? The subconscious mind is the operating system of your body, okay? It determines whether you're stressed out or whether you're calm and relaxed. And most people, unfortunately, maybe not all of you in here, but many people, are wired for stress, and I'll show you why. Biologically, you can't heal when you're under stress. And they focus too much on symptoms and not the outcome, and they do not increase resilience. So the key is getting stronger, right? When your bone breaks, it actually heals stronger than before, okay? So the objective is to get stronger and hopefully not by breaking our bones, right? And there isn't enough accountability or support. That's another challenge that people face. And the results are too superficial and they're far too restrictive. So it's hard to be healthy if you're putting all your eggs in these baskets, right? It's not very pleasurable. And they also exclude your family. So even if there was a magic pill to make you healthy, that only benefits you, but if there's skills that make you healthy, then that benefits everyone around you. Does that make sense? Okay, so that's what I'm interested in. I'm interested in what's going to help me and my whole family move in the right direction. So that's what we want to teach people as well, okay? So the keys to transformation are to reset your hormones, reset your nervous system, and to also reset your lifestyle. This is how you're going to live your best 2020. Okay, so let's talk about resetting hormones. So hormones are the messengers. These are the chemical messengers that tell one part from one part of your body to another part of your body that tell it what to do. Do controls things like appetite, your metabolism, it controls your body temperature, your energy. Your hormones control what time you feel tired, what time you feel alert during the day. So there's all these things that are being controlled by your hormones. And most people hormones are out of whack, okay? Even though people eat. And your hormones being out of balance doesn't just mean that you're having, you know, these stereotypical symptoms like mood swings and sweat, night sweats, or hot flashes and things like that. There's all these other aspects that hormones impact, okay? And also, most people have a chronically imbalanced lifestyle. So the goals that they want and the lifestyle that they live are in misalignment with one another. Okay? So they're looking this way because that's where they want to go, but their wheels are turned this way and then they're like somehow trying to go this way. Okay? So we have to be in alignment there. And then hormones fluctuate, you know, daily, they fluctuate monthly, and they also fluctuate as we age. Which means that if I take a snapshot of your hormones through blood work, does it tell me the whole picture? If I take a picture of you in the morning, does that tell me how your whole day was? No. Right. So relying strictly on blood work is not very effective because it doesn't paint the whole picture. This is why women can go to the doctor, or men can go to the doctor, feel terrible and get normal blood work. Because your hormones swing throughout the day. Some hormones are higher in the morning, some hormones are higher in the evening. Does that make sense to everyone? Okay, so it's not. So if you want to balance your hormones, it's not going to happen by micromanaging blood work. It's going to happen by really managing your day to day lifestyle. Eating the right foods, getting the right amount of exposure of sunlight, getting the right amount of exposure to nature. All of these things like the solutions we're going to present to you are very simple. Hormones also determine your body weight and shape and distribution. Okay? So if you look at this image, you can see that this person has more of their weight gain around the midsection. Okay? This person has more of their weight gain in their thighs. This person has more kind of overall body composition weight gain. And this person has weight gain kind of like that spare tire look. Okay, so everyone here is going to be a variation of this in varying degrees. Okay? So my tendency is probably to move in this direction. Okay? So if I were to be any of these, I would be like zero on the scale, however, but that would be my tendency. Okay? So we all have a 10. We might have a tendency based on imbalances. Can anyone guess what type of hormones are related to this body type? Stress. Cortisol. Cortisol. So I can go to the mall and now you can go to the mall. Okay. And you can sit there while everyone's shopping and causing more stress. Right? And you can watch and you can know exactly what Hormones are off in people. And then you can say, hey, I know someone. Can anyone guess what body shape this hormone imbalance is caused by? Estrogen. Okay, so this is what we call. The first one is an apple shape. This is a pear shape. Okay. And then can anyone guess what this one is? What? Thigh. What? What? Thyroid hormone. Thyroid hormone. And then this one is going to be imbalances in the liver. Okay, Your liver has about 800 functions. One of them is elimination and detoxification. Okay, so there's lots of functions in that organ. And so these are the different body types. Can you guys identify with with any of these? You don't have to tell me what it is, but does this make sense? And you'll see some of the symptomology that goes with this. I'm going to go through this very quickly, and we. Do you guys want a copy of these slides? Would that be helpful? Okay, so make sure you put your name very clearly on the. On the form when you hand it back in so that we could read it, because we'll have to manually put that in. So I'm going to go fast. Is that okay? You're also. We're recording this and you can watch it later as well. You can share it, too. So we have fatigue, insomnia, red cheeks, anxiety, weak or brittle bones, moon or round face, pendulous abdomen, acne, salt, cheese, chocolate, sugar cravings, need coffee to wake up, Dark circles under the eyes, inflammation in the joints, heel spurs, fibromyalgia, pitting edema, out of breath when climbing the stairs, overactive immune system, autoimmune conditions, moodiness, irritability, brain fog, buck flow, hump and diabetes, and blood sugar imbalances. Hopefully you don't have all of these. Okay. But you can. You might see some tendencies in here. Okay? Those are the early signs. Ovarian body type, excess estrogen, weight gain in the hips and thighs and buttocks, history of pms, ovarian cysts, cyclic fatigue, brain fog, pain in the knees, back, low libido, hot flashes, night sweats, dryness, acne, mood swings, excessive bleeding, constipation, thinning of hair. And then this can also happen to men. So you're probably noticing for men, the shape of men is changing a little bit. Okay? Men are starting to have breast tissue, and they're starting to have more hips and thighs, and this is because they're experiencing estrogen dominance. We've never been as men exposed to this much estrogen and women than ever before in human history. So our body's Never created an adaptation for this. Some people are better at metabolizing estrogen than others. So I've had genetic testing done, and on a scale of one to three, I'm a one, which means I'm not too worried about estrogen, but I have to be conscientious of it. Okay. Some people are a three, so the same environment is going to affect them differently. So there are some genetic tendencies related.
Like the plastics are just getting a lot more of these xenoestrogens.
Yeah. So it's. It's a lot of things. It's not just plastics. Yeah. And they. So the question is, is it plastic? So things like BPA actually bind to our estrogen receptor stronger than our own estrogen does. So it blocks the estrogen in your own body from binding and now creates more circulating estrogen in the body. Okay, and so it doesn't take much. Right. With hormones, it doesn't take much. All right, so thyroid. This is thyroid biotop fatigue, generalized weight gain, cold intolerance, brittle nails, stiff and dry hair, puffiness around the eyes, short term memory is bad, brain fog, depression, dry skin, cravings, high cholesterol, loss of libido, dry cracked heels, lowered motivation, constipation, thinning outer eyebrow, enlargement of the thyroid, hoarseness of the voice, pain with swallowing, morning headache. That gets better as the day goes on. So these are some of the symptoms of low thyroid and then a hard time starting and completing tasks. Okay. Hopefully you don't have all of these, but these are common symptoms. And guess what? There's people that will show up at the doctor like this and be told everything's normal. Can you believe that? Oh, you're fine. All my patients say this, and all their blood work comes back perfectly the same. Same. Yeah, exactly. All right, liver, body type, pot belly, brown spots, bloodshot eyes, skin problems, bloated after you eat, acid reflux, constipation, stiffness in the low back, right shoulder pain, bad breath, deep groove in the tongue, irritability, stiff joints, dark urine, hot feet at night, hemorrhoids, spider veins, poor tolerance for fats, gallbladder problems, headaches, high cholesterol, high blood sugars, and usually high blood pressure. Fortunately, we have a drug for all of those things. Yep. Some people will. So some people will, and that's. We can. Obviously, I don't know which one of them they are, so it's hard for me to put a pattern together. Right. But these are general guidelines. Okay? It's not. This is not diagnostic. Don't try to diagnose yourself from this, but this is what you would generally find. Okay, so you can imagine if somebody's hormones are out of balance, then a lot of systems in their body are going to feel off. Right? It's not just one thing. It's not just one symptom. Does that make sense to everyone? Everything's connected. So let's talk about an excess cortisol case study. So here, here's Mark. He tried everything. Weight, you know, he tried everything to lose weight, control his blood sugar. Thank you, Deepa. And his doctors told him, you know, he went down the conventional path, of course, and his natural healthcare practitioners loaded him up with supplements. Okay. Nothing wrong with supplements, but, you know, we generally want to be strategic. Right? So if you're going to take supplements, get tested first. We test our clients and then we make a specific recommendation. But if you're not getting tested, then it's just guesswork. Right? And it's just treating the symptoms. It's not actually treating or addressing the patient. So his natural partners helped him with that. And his diet was pretty clean. He was avoiding carbs. His sugars were not controlled, even though he was doing all of these things. And he was placed on 58 milligrams, or units, rather, of insulin twice a day. Okay. Which is pretty significant. And his weight climbed up. So one of the side effects of insulin is you gain weight, and as you gain more weight, you need more insulin because you become more insulin resistant. So it's the spiral. Okay? So anyone who's on insulin, it's almost impossible for them to lose weight. But guess what? We make insulin. So people who are surging insulin in their body throughout the day and not responding to it, it's like taking insulin. So they're going to gain weight, especially in the midsection. So he's frustrated and scared. Okay. There's, there's, I think 8,000amputees every year in Ontario alone from diabetes. It's the number one cause of blindness. So he was scared. And so we started working on the endocrine system through lifestyle. Okay. And so there's a gland in your brain called the hypothalamus. I'm going to teach to a 10, 10% teaching here. Okay? So the hypothalamus is a little gland in your brain, powerful, because it's the master controller, the master regulator. It sends a message to your pituitary, which then sends a message to your thyroid and your adrenals and your sex organs. Okay. So your hypothalamus controls all the other Systems in your body. It's the master regulator. Does that make sense? So if that's out of balance, how can everything else be in balance? It can't. Right. So we can keep treating the adrenals, but if the problem's up here, we need to go up there to fix it. That makes sense. So no matter what supplements or what interventions I give somebody, if I'm not addressing. If I'm addressing the downstream problem and not the upstream problem, are they ever going to get better? No. Okay. And they're going to get more frustrated. Their health is going to spiral in the wrong direction. They're going to spend more money, and they're not going to get a result because they're going down the wrong path. So we started working on that with him. And so we started him in our metabolic and lifestyle program, and we focused on balancing his cortisol. That's what we focused on, not balancing his blood sugar. Because cortisol, which we associate with stress, is the main hormone that raises your blood sugar. Cortisol's main function is to raise blood sugar. So anything that causes stress to you raises your blood sugar. So if you're in traffic and you're stressed out, your blood sugar's up, you can prove it to yourself. You can wear a continuous glucose monitor for two weeks, and you can see how your blood sugar fluctuates with stress and activity and what you eat and all that stuff. It's a very powerful exercise to do that. It's only 150 bucks. And that'll tell you what is my blood sugar like throughout the day. If you can keep your blood sugar level stable, that regulates all your other hormones. Everything self regulates off cortisol and insulin and really cortisol, because insulin is cortisol, creates insulin resistance. So if you can balance cortisol, you're good to go. Okay. Does that make sense? All right. So we reset his stress response, we reset what was triggering him, and we put a strong emphasis on sleep timing and sunlight. Sunlight exposure is one of the most powerful tools for healing. Okay. So even on a day like today, you're getting powerful therapy from the sun. So don't feel like, oh, it's got to be a beautiful, perfect day in winter in Canada for me to go outside. All right. You're missing all of this free healing opportunity without sunglasses. Correct. Strong emphasis on sunlight exposure is very overlooked. And we cut out all intense exercise, because what does intense exercise do? Creates more stress, creates more inflammation, creates a distraction. Our body's got to go and Heal all this muscle damage when it can barely heal the regular damage that's going on. Okay. So we didn't want to create more stress and more inflammation in his body. We wanted less of that. So he was killing himself in the gym. Go figure, right? He's like wondering why he's not losing weight. So when we told him to stop working out, his results were amazing. Okay. So we put him on a strategic fasting plan and an organic meal plan and then we coached him through this process and we provided him with community. You know, I spoke three years ago now in a place called Guernsey, and they invited experts from around the world on longevity. So to speak to Sam's thing. I was speaking and we're in this island in the British, in the English Channel, and they want to be the longest living country and the population is small enough and they're kind of rich enough that they can probably do it. So they had experts come in and the number one thing that we all agreed upon that was important for healing to take place and longevity was community. That's the key. That's why we do this. That's why we bring like minded people in the community together. Because it empowers all of us, right, to not feel alone. Some of you, you know, you might not be able to share or even articulate everything you're going to learn today. You might feel like you're isolated. How many of you feel isolated? You know, the healthier you get, the more isolated you become. Who's experienced that? People make fun of you for what you eat. Right? Not me anymore. Right, Right. Like, what's that, right? Fractal. There it is. Yeah. So we gotta come together, right, and bring like minded people together. So community is so huge. So check this out. So remember, he's on insulin and once you're on insulin, it's typically considered impossible to come off of it. Okay. Again, if you're going down the wrong path, yeah, the answer is going to be impossible. So in one week he lost nine pounds. He's really shocked by his blood sugar readings. Type 2 diabetic, 58 units of insulin twice a day, and he's down to 10 units two times a day within days, by the fourth day, down to once and since Sunday, have been off all insulin. Okay. These results are nothing short of spectacular. Thanks, guys. I mean, this is what happens when you tap into your body, okay. And you get to keep all your body parts. That's the cool thing, right? You get to see for the rest of your life the foot lasts. You the rest of your life. Your brain lasts you the rest of your life, right? So this is like diabetes. There's a, there's a storm coming, guys, okay? So you're gonna see a lot of people getting diagnosed with diabetes. We're not too far behind the Americans. And so. Oh, that's all the same thing, right? It's like if you're climbing the wrong mountain, right? Does it matter how high up the wrong mountain you are? Right? Like we got to come down and go up a different mountain, right? So we don't want to slow down the process. We want to go in a completely, radically different direction. Okay? And so, you know, amazing in a short period of time, but by balancing incident. So most of you might not know this. And the reason I was talking about diabetes is because type 3 diabetes is actually Alzheimer's. Okay? So Sam talked about wanting to, you know, live a long time and have his health span and his lifespan match as closely as each as they can. About 50% of Canadians will develop Alzheimer's. Okay? So this is where it starts. Takes about 60 years to destroy your brain. That beautiful brain that the universe gave you takes about 60 years to destroy it. So it's not going to show up right away. All right, so to balance your hormones, you got to balance your insulin resistance. You balance that through cortisol. You do that through improving sleep quality and quantity by eating balanced meals and strategic intermittent fasting. Okay? That's how you can stay healthy for a long period of time and you can reduce your overall weight. Losing five pounds even makes a profound difference. Okay, so these are ways that you can do that and then work with a coach. There's only so much I can share in this present. I'm trying to, like they were telling me to hurry up in the back, but I'm trying to give you as much value as I can. Are you guys finding this valuable? Okay, does anyone have like, it turns into Cinderella at a certain time and has to like the pumpkin's gonna. Okay, all right, good. So I can keep going, right? Alright, good. Work with a coach. Seriously, if you want to be world class at anything, or you want to be anything at anything, work with somebody. It doesn't have to be me, but find somebody that can help you, that can nudge you, that knows a little bit more than you, that can inspire you, that has already done the things that you're trying to do. Okay? I love working with and coaching, like really healthy people, but I also love coaching and helping people who are not super healthy because it's the same thing I have to teach them, right? Next time you go to anywhere, ask that person, would this make a healthy person healthier? Is what you're going to do to me. Would that make a healthy person healthier, or would it make a healthy person sick? Everything I'm going to tell you would make a healthy person healthier. Reset your nervous system. Number two. Okay? Meet Pamela. Just spoke to her yesterday, actually. And so she was under a ton of stress at work. She's got two college kids, you know, so proud of her. Single mom, you know, you know, sometimes tough life, right? And it's something that she needs to learn, her soul needs to learn through this life that she's living. But she has to go through the motions for now. And so she's doing everything. Her medical doctor was totally on board. That's like a dream come true, right? When your whole team is on board. And that's when she found us. So she was raising and supporting her children. She was working where she was undervalued and underappreciated. So most people may not realize this, but the majority of people would rather feel more appreciated than better compensated. Now, I'm not saying you can't have both, but when you survey people, they'd rather feel more appreciated. Appreciation is a powerful emotion, isn't it? When we show gratitude and we receive gratitude, and that doesn't happen as much, and it wasn't really happening in her workplace. So we acknowledge that. Okay. And recognize that because that affects our nervous system. She was 140 pounds overweight, and she was working very closely with her medical doctor, as I mentioned, and nothing was working. And they couldn't get her values to normalize or anything. And, you know, her thyroid numbers were off, and she was on thyroid medication, and it was just. It was not good. So this is what we did. You want to know how we fixed her? Okay, so this is the trillion dollar. You might even want to record this. Okay, so this is the trillion dollar secret. If you can understand this slide, you can master your life, every aspect of it, because you are essentially a glorified nervous system. The reason your hands, your eyes, your nose, like the reason all these body parts exist is because it's bringing information into the brain. Make sense? So whoever controls our nervous system literally controls our entire life, because they're going to control where blood is going in our body. They're going to control what cells are being activated, what systems are being turned up and what systems are being turned down. So in a nutshell, I'M going to talk about two parts of our brain. Our reptilian brain, which is part of our brain that keeps us alive, which is the part of our brain that, if a lion walked in here, would recognize that from the corner of our eye, instantly create a stress response in our body before we even realize what's happening. Okay, so that's the reptilian part of our brain. That's where all this information goes first. Okay. And then it comes to the prefrontal cortex, where we can actually think something through. Does that make sense? So if your nervous system is constantly being triggered either consciously or unconsciously, and you're in this constant fight or flight response, what happens? You're activated in a stress response all the time. And so a lot of people will use yoga and meditation. They use that as stress relief. It's like using it as a fire extinguisher, and you're starting fire every morning. Okay, that's not what yoga and yoga and meditation is for. It's to raise your consciousness. It's not to manage your stress. It has to take you from here to there. Not to just fix this. Okay, so we're misappropriating these things. So the key is to be in control of that response. And that response is programmed into your unconscious mind. So you don't even know that this is happening because this was programmed between the age of 0 and 8 into your body. So whatever was going on in your life when you were between the age of 0 and 8, the narrative your parents had about money, the narrative your parents had together, how they communicated the values that they shared with you, those are the values that you carry with you now. So as much as you don't want to become your parents, guess who? You became your parents because they wrote the operating system for you. Does this make sense? And this operating system decides what's going to trigger your nervous system. So you can't fix it by talking about it. You got to fix it by reprogramming it. Does that make sense? So what happens when this nervous system gets triggered? When the lion walks in, There is a predictable response every single time. A predictable and reliable response every single time. We start increasing our heart rate, we shut off digestion, we shut off liver function and kidney function. When we're at rest, 50% of our blood goes to our liver and kidneys. 50%. When you're in stress state, 5%. So if I want to help you improve detoxification, do I give you a bunch of pills, or do I increase blood flow to that organ, I increase blood flow to that organ. Right now I've 10x your healing capability. Do you see where I'm going with this? Right. So all of these organs shut off. Liver shuts off, kidney shut off, digestive system shuts off. Because that's not important. If a lion is chasing you right now, that's not going to save you from the lion. What's going to save you from the lion is being able to run away. So your blood goes to your arms and legs, it goes away from here and it goes to your arms and legs. How can I heal this organ if my blood is going everywhere else? I can't. Okay? I don't care what pills you take, I don't care what you do. It's physiologically, biologically impossible. So if I want better kidney function, adrenal function, reproductive health, digestive health, liver health, kidney health, heart health, oral health, sleep, blood sugar regulation, immune regulation, it's not going to happen if I'm triggered all the time. Make sense? So what I want to do is I want to get out of fight or flight and I want to get into this state, which is a parasympathetic state. What's cool is we have a nerve in our body called the Vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is cranial nerve number 10. It starts in our brain stem and it goes to all of these organs. How cool is that? One nerve wraps around all of these organs. So all I have to do is activate this nerve and my body instantly starts healing. Who wants to know how to do that? Okay, so it's really easy. You did it. You're going to do it 23,000 times today. It's your breath. Okay? So this is why Tai chi, yoga, meditation, qigong, all of these modalities, the reason they work is because they activate through our breath and through our diaphragm, they activate the Vagus nerve. You know something else that works? Chanting okay. Humming, gargling these are all things that stimulate the Vagus nerve which switch you from a stressed out state into a parasympathetic state. Okay, so that's why when they say, hey, take a few deep breaths, that's why, because it instantly calms the nervous system. So if you can switch from this state to this state, now you're resting, you're digesting, you're repairing, you're reviving, you're reproducing, you're doing all the things that you want to do, all the things that people go to see the doctor for, they're doing now make sense. So there's actually a way to track this. There's a little device that you can clip to your ear that will tell you if you're in that stressed out state or if you're in a coherent state. This is something that we provide training on. So this is somebody who you can see as stressed out. This is somebody who's in a coherent state. So the person in red is going to be in this state. So using our breath, we can actually shift the state of somebody's nervous system and actually make them more resilient to stress as well. So not better at tolerating it, but actually more resilient to it. Okay. When we can do that, then our health improves for a long period of time. So we can take you from here to here by using technology. Okay. So we can actually measure the variability of your heart rate to track what your nervous system is doing. So here's the thing. Let me ask you a question. If I'm eating and I'm stressed out, is that a good thing? Right. Because my nervous system and my action is not paired together. Because if I'm stressed out, where's my blood going to my arms and legs? Where do I need it right now to digest? In my stomach. So sometimes people get so hung up on changing their diet instead of getting hung up on how they're eating. So you can actually use something like this before you eat to get your body into that right state to calm you down. And we call this autonomic pairing. This is pairing your nervous system with the activity you're trying to do. Make sense? All right, so here's this. Here's Pamela's story. Started off on our program, focused on remapping her mindset towards gratitude. So we couldn't change her situation, but we could change how she felt about that situation. And we focused her on gratitude and heart math as well. And we got her to connect with nature. When you're in nature, it actually activates a different part of your brain, your right brain, which helps with creativity. Okay. And so that's important for you to recognize. I study really successful people, and each and every one of them got their inspiration from being outside. More the most inspiring work that anyone ever does. If you study people like Da Vinci, Steve Jobs, they all spent a lot of time outdoors, okay? So it activates a part of our brain called the right brain, which unlocks our creativity. Okay. And we all need more creativity, right? Who could use more curiosity? Creativity activation of the right brain. Yeah, all of us. All right, cut out intense exercise and focus on recovery. So she was going to the gym, waking up before the sunrise, exposing herself to artificial light, you know, adding more inflammation to her body, and she wasn't seeing results. So we said, why do that? Right? Let's cut that out. Let's love yourself to life. Right? And then she put on. She was put on a strategic fasting plan. Fasting is very important. Every culture for thousands of years has been incorporating some form of fasting. Okay. And now the science is finally catching up. Okay. Whenever somebody tells me to do something, I ask them, how long have people been doing this for? That's what I want to know. Oh, this drug just came out. So people haven't been doing it that long, have they? Right. Fasting. The word fasting is actually more common in religious texts than the word God. All right. We taught her how to start celebrating life and successes because she was feeling under celebrated at work, so we had to feed her nervous system with appreciation. Anyone here ever get a hug that changed their day? Yeah. And if you haven't, then you need to hug more people. I got many hugs today that changed my day for the better. So, you know, people need more hugs. There's actually evidence that shows that human touch lowers inflammatory cytokines. That's why we feel better after a massage. That's why we feel better when we're in somebody's embrace, because it actually lowers inflammatory antibodies that actually attack our own tissue. When we feel loved, we stop attacking ourselves at a cellular level. Who thinks the world needs more love right now? Who could love themselves a little bit more? Yeah, Right. We all can. We all deserve to. So we started celebrating her. And then no labs, no pills, because that's not what most people want. Most people, depending on the state that you're in, given the option, many people prefer no labs, no pills. There's going to be a time and place. We order them in our office, we recommend them to clients in our office. Many of you in this room have had them done. But that's not always where we want to start. Right. We want to start by showing people how not to need these things. So this is actually from March, but to date, I didn't have a good screenshot of it, but she's lost 77 pounds. Okay. Since early last year, since March of last year. So you can imagine what that did to her joints. And this is only after losing 28 pounds or so. She went on a vacation, and she wouldn't have been able to do that. She went away for 10 days. Without needing any assistance. For some of you, that's not a big deal, right? But if you had to assist somebody, that's a big burden that you put on them, right? And she didn't have to do that, so she felt really good about that. And she also lost seven and a half pounds while she was on vacation because we teached her how to use her nervous system to heal. Okay. I remember when I was playing basketball a few years ago, I normally avoid any sports where I'm potentially getting injured. And I flipped over, somebody trying to block them, and my ankle slammed into the ground, like, hard, okay? So I'm like six feet in the air, and it slams into the ground, and I'm like, that's not going to be good. So I had to sit off the rest of the afternoon, and I was going to be on TV two days later. And, man, I. I'm like, man, I can't hobble into this interview, right? Being a health expert or whatever, I can't hobble into this interview, right? So what did I do? I didn't start rubbing stuff on it. I didn't start popping pills. I went inside, okay? And I meditated. I focused. I reallocated resources, because you can do that, too. That's what makes your body amazing, is that you can do it, too. Somebody has to teach you. I didn't know how to do this, right? At one point, I was sitting in the chair, right? But I'm back to teach you how to do this. So on vacation, she lost weight. Now, how many of you feel better when you're on vacation? Raise your hands. Some of you need a vacation. You forgot, right? The most stressful part of going on vacation is coming back from vacation, Right? But usually three days in, people feel better. Their symptoms that they've been looking for help with start to improve. They disappear. So then you have to ask yourself, is my body the problem or is my environment the problem? Okay, it's probably not the body, because you can feel better very quickly, right? And you can see she felt better very quickly because we showed her specifically what to do. The next thing is to reset your lifestyle. So one thing I learned. What's that? Oh, she's now maintenance and she's a little scared. Yeah, I cut off the rest. But she's always gained weight back in the past, and so she was a little bit nervous about that. But, you know, we talk through that as well. So the language is something we always pay attention to. And I'm glad you caught that ant. It's always about what we project into the future. So our words project into our future. Okay? And so with her, we definitely have talked a lot about that. Next thing is to reset your lifestyle. One thing I learned a long time ago is you can't negotiate with nature. How many of you grow succulents? Anyone here? Okay, any experts in the room? No. I know if there's any experts, see my wife in the back. Because we just haven't figured this formula out just yet. But what I realize is that in the right environment, succulents thrive. Right? We just have to find out what that formula is. We can't negotiate with the plant. We can't say, you know what? I'm going to give you a little bit more sunlight, but I'm not going to water you because I'm gone for a week. What would happen to the plant? Probably be dead now. What if I. What if I give it more sunlight? Right? And less oxygen. Right? Or less attention. All these things affect the plant. And we can't negotiate with the plant how much sunlight we're going to give it. There's a requirement that it has. And so the same thing with our body. The body has certain requirements in order for us to feel our best, in order for us to balance that. Remember that central hormone cortisol, which we need to have the right amount of light exposure. Okay? Everything in nature, Everything in nature operates based on sunlight. All the animals, all the plants, everything is coordinated with the sun. Okay? We know this, so is our body. What makes us exclusive from nature, Right? We are nature. So at 6am, our cortisol starts to come up. That's what keeps us. Gets us up in the day. That's what gets us going. Right? We need energy to start the day. And then as the day goes on, we want that number to flatten out. We don't want our cortisol high all the time. Now tell me what happens in nature? The sun goes down. What happens in our lives? The sun goes down, but the lights turn on. So what that does is it prolongs this cortisol production. Do you know the lights in your workspace actually increase cortisol to keep more alert? Okay. It's like coffee. That's why people crash when they go home, right? That's why when you're at work, you can be functional. Maybe when you come home, you crash and burn. And now you're not there for your kids because you're being overstimulated all day. No one's experienced that, right? So you got to control Your light. Your light governs a lot of things in your body, governs the production of melatonin. We think of melatonin as a hormone that's responsible for sleep. Right. When I say melatonin, what do you guys think? Sleep. But melatonin is actually one of your most important immune system, regulating hormones. So artificial light decreases melatonin production by 40%. So what do you think? It increases diseases related to the immune system. So what do we see going on the rise? Things like cancer, Things like autoimmune diseases. Okay. Because this light system is out of balance. So a simple thing that you can do in the evening is you can start. Oh, sorry. You can start turning, dimming the lights. Okay. You can stop exposing yourself to overhead lighting and use lamps instead. Because when is light coming from overhead? During the day. During the day, we need certain hormones. In the evening, we need certain hormones. Make sense? So after they invent the light bulbs, humans get about three hours of less sleep every day. What do you think those three hours are filled with? Drum circles, hugging, snuggling, meditation. No more stimulation. Right. So this is something that, if you can get your sleep schedule dialed in, everything else starts falling into place. Cortisol starts falling into place. Immune system starts falling into place. All the things that you're looking for start happening for you. How does that work for people that are shift workers? It doesn't. You can't negotiate with nature. Right. I can't negotiate with a plant that. I'm not going to give you sunlight. Right. It just. You can't. Right. And so I don't have a good answer for that. We tell people to find a different career. Right. If you have to. So here's another thing that's important is growth hormone, because all of us want to keep growing, right? When we stop growing, we start dying. So growth hormone production is something that peaks in the evening. It peaks while you're sleeping, usually between 10pm and 1am okay. So it's that first half of your sleep where you get a spike in this hormone production. And so you want to make sure that you're in bed at a decent time. That was my focus for the last two years, has been getting more sleep. I used to be a night owl, so I totally understand those of you that stay up late. And I used to fall asleep in front of the television. That was my jam until I met my wife a long time ago. And that's how I was conditioned growing up. I couldn't sleep unless I was in front of a television. Pick up bad habits, right? You know, I'm not perfect. So here's the thing. Here's a client of ours that for her, this program was a blessing in disguise. I mean, she lost 30 pounds, which is great. But she started sleeping better, okay? Her energy came back. And these are the things that continue to motivate her and push her forward. And now she's leading by example for her family. So many of you said, some of you said you want to take less supplements, right? Ariane, you said that. So this slide is for you. So how to take fewer supplements? Spend more time in nature, get fresh air and sunlight. So people think of sunlight, they think of what? Vitamin D, Right? But when you're outside, is it sunlight? Is that the only thing you're getting? You're getting fresh air, you're connecting with nature, you're activating your right brain, you're getting negative ions, you're mobilizing lymph, and you're getting the body to get rid of waste products that have been producing from you sitting for hours on end. Right? There's all these benefits. So if your vitamin D is low and your doctor gives you vitamin D, but doesn't change the behavior, have we really helped you? No, we've actually encouraged you not to change anything because we're not measuring those other things. Does that make sense? So go to bed before 10. Manage your stress better or eliminate it. You know, do not micromanage your symptoms. Focus on the big picture. Always focus on the big picture. Change the lighting in your home. So if you ever come to my house, you'll see we have like crystal lamps and we have, you know, lamp shades and we have bulbs that are more orange in color. Next time you drive around, next time you drive by a condominium where all the lights are on in the evening, pay attention to the color of people's light bulbs. The people that have those really blue, like halogenish ultra bright light bulbs, those people are all getting cancer because their melatonin production, their brain thinks it's daytime all the time. And your brain's not producing as much melatonin if it thinks it's daytime all the time. So now you basically shut off 40 to 50% of your immune hormone. Okay? So lighting makes a big difference. And it's something that's so passive. I love. Who can change the light bulbs in their house? Who can hire someone to change the light bulbs for those of you that didn't raise your hands, right? Like, it's simple, simple stuff. So if in our house we have the old bulbs. We have tungsten bulbs. We don't have LED bulbs. Okay? Slow down when you eat so you can digest your food better. Most of your nutrition should come from food. But if you're eating too quickly, you're not chewing your food properly, you're not getting the nutrition from it. Get rid of toxic products in your home, okay? So you're not stressing liver out. And it can do its job properly and get tested. So you know what you need, right? If you want to take less or if you want to be strategic, then, yeah, get tested. So you know what you need. You know where to shop and save some money. So shop locally as much as you can. Support local businesses. Eat organic when possible, okay? And you can actually eat less. So organic food is more nutrient dense because it's grown in healthier soil. And so there's more nutrition in the plant, which means you can eat less of it. So people say, oh, it's like 30% more expensive. But what if it's 200% more nutritious, right? Then you can eat less of it or you can fast. You can do all kinds of things. Find a farmer's market close to you, Swap stores. You'd be surprised at what you can find in no Frills and what you can find at Costco these days, okay? They've done a great job at really making healthy foods a lot more accessible to people. And then no Frills. My wife goes there. I'm like, you bought that from no Frills? And she's like, yeah, it's right around the corner from us. Sometimes when you go to Whole Foods, you walk out of there and you've got this, like, $500 grocery cart, right? Because you bought all this other stuff. So, you know, switch your stores. That makes a big difference. Grow your own food or herbs. You can try growing your own herbs, right? You can start putting intention into your food, because food is more than calories. Food is more than vitamins and minerals. There's also vibration and intention in food. And if you grow your own, that makes a big difference. You can. We're actually having a. A raised garden bed put in. In our. In our home. So we're pretty excited about that. We get to use that next year. And we also have some indoor gardens that we're setting up. And then there's a great store you can go online. It's called Naturamarket Ca. Or you can. It's like the Amazon for healthy foods and things like that, okay? And a Canadian company So that's nice as well. And then plan in advance. You know, if you go to this, go shopping and you have no meal plan or no idea what you're going to make that week, then you're going to overspend and you're going to start then buying things that you don't end up using and you're going to waste. Okay? So there's nothing worse than wasting food because it discourages the behavior moving forward. Right. It's hard to justify if you keep throwing away this food. But that justification can be resolved if you plan a little bit better. Okay, so planning goes a long way. Eat out less free. I'm shocked. Aren't you guys shocked at how expensive it is to eat out these days? I'm like, oh my God, like you can't go to like even a regular restaurant and not spend like, you know, 15 to $20 per person. And you think about how much food that can buy you and how much that can nourish you. Now don't get me wrong, I love eating out at nice, especially plant based or vegan restaurants. But you know, it gets expensive after a while. Okay, so learn how to prepare food. It makes a big difference. Intermittent fasting. There's also eating every other day. You know, some people do that if they're looking to heal really quickly. One of the fastest ways to heal is to fast. And then some people do a five day fasting, mimicking diet. So we've actually partnered with a company called Prolon and what Prolon does is they have a five day kit that you can buy and it gives you the benefits, the proven benefits of fasting for five days. But you get to eat these small plant based meals. So you get all this research. There's about $40 million of research they did on this, on this product and they're showing now how amazing fasting is for people. So pretty cool. And there's actually some research I can't share, but it's phenomenal. All I can say is fasting is a big deal and you're going to learn a lot more about it. And it's been around in every culture for thousands of years. The other thing about fasting is think about children. When children don't feel well, what do they do? They sleep, they shut up and they stop eating. Right. What do adults do? The exact opposite of that. Right. That's why kids get better the next day. And adults stay sick for a week. Right. They tell everyone how sick they are on social media. Right. What else? What else do they try to stay upright. So they overstimulate themselves. Because you got to get the work done, got to get the project done. Right. And they don't sleep. What's that? Yeah, sometimes they have to. Right. You know, I look at myself like a kettle every morning when I wake up. And a kettle is only useful if it heats the water. So it's got to have water in it, and it's gotta be able to heat the water up, and only then can we pour into other people's cups. So caring about your family is actually caring about yourself first. Because if your health is a six out of 10, how you mother is not a seven out of 10, it's impossible. Or how you father is not a nine out of 10. Right. Because everything is based on my health. Everything is based on how present I can be, how vital I can be in that moment for that person. Make sense? All right, so essential tools for a healthy home. Let's go through this. So we practice feng shui in our home. Anyone here practice feng shui? Okay, you're my people. Everyone else is, too, but you're especially my people. And so feng shui is how you organize the space in your home, what colors you choose, how you strategically place things in your home, and what things you keep out of your home. In Hindu culture, it's called vastu shastra. So some of you. I see some of you might practice that. So we have very meaningful intention in where we put everything in our home and in our office. And you can instantly feel. How many of you have ever rearranged a room and felt instantly better? Yeah, all of us. And if you haven't done that, then go home and rearrange your room and see if you feel better energetically. So one of my consultants, her name is Sid, she might be watching. Hey, Sid. She organizes all of our space. So we have an expert come in, evaluate the space, and tell us exactly what to do. Because if you want to be world class at something, you have to have somebody who's world class helping you, who knows what they're doing. We also have a Berkey water filter. I hope you guys don't drink toilet water. Same water, by the way, right? Blue blocking glasses. So these glasses can actually filter out light. They can filter out toxic light. Put your wifi on a timer in your home. Organic mattress and sheets. You spend about a third of your life on your mattress. Make sure it's not killing you. Grounding mats. Squatty potty. Infrared sauna. 2700 kelvin bulbs. Juicer blender, rebounder, hotlogic, which is a little heat heating plate that you can use instead of using a microwave. Healthy cleaning and personal care products. We go into more details with you guys in this. A steam cleaner instead of using chemicals, the right types of candles, essential oils and diffusers. An air doctor in your room to filter the air. Oops. And then a sleep mask. Or make sure you get blackout shades. You should not be able to see your hand in front of your face. That's how dark your room should be. Okay? Now, if you have, make sure there's no tripping hazards in your space. If you have to get up frequently, then, you know, you know, put a salt lamp, night light or something. But you want to have the room as dark as possible. Okay? So these are simple things that you can do and it doesn't have to be tomorrow, right? We're going to send you the slides. You'll have a list of this. But at some point, these. This is the direction that you want to start moving in. So instead of buying stuff you're going to throw away, buy yourself a water filter that will last you a lifetime, right? Instead of buying that sweater that keeps you warm for a season, buy an infrared sauna that keeps your whole family warm for a lifetime, right? And you can get it for like a thousand bucks. So these things are very inexpensive. You can outfit your home for a few thousand dollars, right? What some people's countertops cost. You can outfit your home, everything you need for your family to be healthy for a lifetime. Okay? So it's all about where we place our values. So how to create permanent change. Write down your goals and review them daily. Anyone you talk about in that you could spend $10,000 and go spend a week with Tony Robbins, and he's going to tell you this. Write down your goals and review them daily. Okay? Be honest, but also be kind with yourself. So don't beat yourself up, but don't lie to yourself, right? Be honest and love yourself. Know exactly what you want and why you want to share your goals with others. When you put your goals out there in the world, others can help you, you know? Yes. Just on Thursday, my CTO and I had a meeting, and we were actually coaching about 50 doctors on how to plan their 2020. So I'm sitting there taking notes, and he's telling me all these things he wants to do. And just by him telling me, I was able to cross three of them off his list by giving him opportunities and pointing him in the exact direction that he needs to go. In. So when we share our goals with people, then other people want to help us. Who wants to help somebody else? If you could help somebody else, would you do it? Yeah, but how can you help someone if you don't know what their goals are? That's why one of the things I asked you is, why are you here? But if you don't tell me why you're here, then I'm going to think that you're just here to see me. That was a joke. What time is it? I mean, I'm in, like, I'm just going. You guys okay with this? Is this beneficial to you? Okay, great. So share your goals with others who will support you. Not people who will ridicule you or laugh at you, but people who will support you. Right. When people come to me with goals, I'm like, all right, let's amp it up. Let's do it. Right? But if you go to somebody with your goals and they don't believe it's possible for you, then guess what? What kind of energy are they putting into this? Right. Would you let them put their paint in your paint? All right, so get rid of people in your life that have worn out their welcome. That's a tough one for people, but I promise you, like, just get rid of people that aren't growing you. Okay? And it's okay to outgrow other people. You can still love them. I can love people, but not choose to spend my time with them or choose to be in their presence. Be relentless. Find balance between patience and persistence. You got to keep going. Your body's fighting for you. Work with it. It's not even fighting. I don't like that word. It's working for you. It's serving you. Work with it. Why work against it? Okay. Be accountable, you know, Find a mentor. Find somebody who's a few steps ahead of you, who knows what they're doing. Right. Not somebody who just learned this last week. Right. But somebody who's put this into practice not just for themselves, but for their kids, for people around them, for people around the world. Right? That's what we do. That's how we help people, is by teaching them what we want for our families. We want for your families. Right? So if I'm spending this time and energy learning this, I want to share it with as many people as possible, Okay. I want to make as many people healthy and give them that opportunity as possible. And find your tribe, okay? So as you grow, right, you're going to start outgrowing other people so you're going to have to find people that understand you. You're going to have to find people that get excited about moonbeam sprouts, right? Anyone who here eats mung bean sprouts, okay? Simple thing you can do for pennies a day. Mung bean? Yeah, mung bean sprouts. Mung bean sprouts. However, mug, we call it mug. It's got a funny name in all languages. So find your tribe, right? Find people that you can connect with because then you can grow, you can share what you're learning. You can excel. So raise your hand if you got some value out of today. Anyone not have their hands up, okay. Don't have to beat it. Don't have to beat anyone up. I don't have to keep talking. Okay, good. Raise your hand if you learn something that you can apply and you can think of one thing, at least one thing that you can apply did. Is there something that you're going to stop doing? Can somebody raise their hand if there's something that they can think of that maybe they're going to stop doing? Doing that they've been doing? Maybe you stop going to bed so late, right? Maybe you stop eating while you're driving or while you're stressed out. Maybe you take a few minutes to catch your breath and stay in the moment. So I'm glad you got value out of this because everything you learned today, A was recorded, so we'll be happy to send you a copy of it. And B is going to be something that you want to ponder and reflect on. So today I'm here to plant seeds. Okay? You know, it's funny, it amazes me because I'll get people who came to a workshop four years ago, and then they tell me, okay, I'm now ready to do something about my health. And I'm like, okay, now we got four years of you tumbling down this mountain that we need to work on, right? So, but that's okay because we always work with people. We love them. And you're not that you're never that far away from getting healthy. I want you to realize that it's never too late, okay? It's never too early if this is your priority. So when you get healthy, everything in your life grows. We just had a lady of ours, I just did the interview. I released it on YouTube the other day, and her and her husband lost 50 pounds, okay, in six weeks. So they made a commitment. They're going to support each other. And in six weeks together, using this process, they lost 50, 50 pounds. Now, beyond that they are sleeping better, they're making their food in their kitchen. Now their kids are actually asking them to go for a walk, okay. Instead of them having to drag the kids out. So now guess what? That warms my heart because now we know we're impregnating those ideas into the children. Okay? So their kids don't become patients of ours. Right? That's how we change things, by teaching people skills and modeling that. But what I was going to tell you, she actually got a big raise at work because of it. So of course, all the hard work she did, but now she got a raise and she's in a whole new mindset. Mental clarity, confidence, where she can handle this and excel at the role. Remember, life is about being ready. Okay? What opportunities can you make yourself available to if you were ready, if you had great health, if you had great mental clarity, if you woke up and you were exciting about your day, if you were a happy person and people were just wondering, like, I want to be around this person more, how would your life change if you became that person? Would it be positive? Raise your hands if it would be positive. So that's what we should all be pursuing in our own special way. Okay? So people ask me all the time, you know, how, you know, is it possible for you to work with us or is it possible for us to get more information? And the answer is yes. Okay. I actually don't work with. I don't want to call the call you guys a general public, but I don't work with anyone one on one. My wife and I work with people in a group program. What I do one on one is I train other doctors. Okay. So I kind of respectfully bow to working with people one on one. My wife and I, we do coach people because we want them to stay healthy. We literally want you to stay out of our office and bring health into your homes. So we do that from our home together and she helps me with that. Her background is a pharmacist and she's also trained in functional medicine. Okay. So together we have a very powerful skill set to help people and a lot of experience. So I spend my one on one time working with practitioners. In fact, I don't know if there's any. I know there's a couple practitioners in here. In April, we're hosting 150 doctors from all over the world right here in Mississauga to teach them more of these principles of functional medicine. Okay. So if any one of you is a practitioner, you should definitely come to that. Event. So I'm going to tell you about a program that we work with our community in. Okay. Is that okay with everyone? Okay. All right. So we call this the Metabolic and Lifestyle Reset Program. So the value of this program, to me, this is our best work. This is what our vision is, what we hope to pursue and move forward, you know, in 2020. So we want to reset these different systems in your body. You ever feel like you need a reset, like a do over or a start over? Right. So here's the thing. In the next four months, every single red blood cell in your body will replace itself, whether you like it or not. Every single one. Every 120 days, your blood cells die and replace themselves. Okay? So the question is, so you might be wondering, okay, if my body's replacing itself all the time, why do I stay sick? Or why do people stay sick? And the reason they do is because they keep sending the body the same message. If I bought you all a new car, does that make you a better driver? No. So if I give you new cells, but I don't teach you how to drive, it doesn't make you a healthier person. Okay? So we're going to teach you that your body and the controller of the body are two different things. And you're in full control of this, of this vessel, if you can believe that. Who believes that? Right? So health is in our hands. It's in our heart, it's in. It's in our head. And so we have to know what we're doing, though, right? Just like what you do for a living. You're an expert at it. This is what we're an expert at. Okay? So there's things, trust me, there's. I can stand here for eight hours and there's things that you could talk about for eight hours that would blow my mind, too. So this is what I spend my time learning. It all starts with a good history. It all starts with actually listening to the patient. You know, I spoke to a lady yesterday who just joined our program, and I spent more time and I asked her more questions in 20 minutes than all of her specialists have asked her in the years. Just if she's going to go see them. Because they treat the labs, they don't pay attention to the person. They think those are two different things, right? We believe they're connected. So we're going to ask those questions. We're going to pay attention to those things. All of her symptoms started after her husband passed away from pancreatic cancer. Okay? So now we Know what the trigger is? Every disease, chronic disease, has a trigger. And so now we have to know what wasn't reconciled when her husband passed away. How does she process death? Because if she processes death a little bit differently, perhaps we can change her mental outlook and she doesn't have to feel the way she does. And if we change how she feels, we can change her nervous system, we can change her physiology. Alright, do you see how it's all connected? Do you see how there's no pill that can actually fix that? Alright, so it starts by listening. It starts also by community, right? Having a place where people meet, either online or in person. Coaching. And coaching is really loving on one another, right? Gently loving on one another. High performance lifestyle, hormones, fasting, collecting data and having information so you can leverage technology and make informed decisions. Right? So, you know, I had a lady, you know, bless her heart, she came to see us not for her cancer, but she had pancreatic cancer and she was given six weeks to live. And so she came to see us. She lived another three years, okay? And so don't, don't ever let anyone tell you when your time is up, that's like one of the worst things that people can do. But she lived another three years. And so I had. She was doing her special breathing technique every morning. She would do it while she was sitting in the sunlight in her rocking chair in her window every morning. And so we were able to hook her up to that device to develop a breathing pattern that actually got her nervous system to go into the state that we wanted it to so that she could heal her body. Right? So doing things for the sake of doing them because they're nouveau or because you saw it on Instagram, that doesn't really do anything for your health. You have to have data to work with and you can have instantaneous data to see what is the state of my nervous system when I'm doing this. Am I stressed out or am I calm? And how can I shift myself in the right direction if I want to? How can I regain control of the steering wheel? The microbiome. Who's heard of the word microbiome? Okay, most people. So when I was doing this five years ago, nobody had heard of that term, right? Or leaky gut, things like that. The microbiome is the 7lbs of bacteria in your gut. Now, the best way to improve your microbiome is not by taking probiotics. Trust me, we sell a lot of probiotics, but the thing that we change the most significantly is variety in your Diet. If you eat the same things over and over again, you're feeding the same bacteria over and over again. If you add variety of color and food and different starches and proteins and things like that into your diet, then now you're feeding other microbes, and now you have resilience in the microbiome. Okay? So some people. That's why I've never seen my dad sick once my whole life, ever. And she's like, when you think about it, when I say it out loud, it's almost like insane to think that. But when I saw where he grew up, I realized why, right? They grew up with a very, very strong microbiome because they were exposed to so many different things, so many different food sources, so many bacteria, so many different bugs, and they develop resilience to it. Okay, now, when people go to India, let's say they get sick, how do all the other people that live there, how do they function? It's because they have resilience to that in that environment. So over time, our body can develop resilience. So the best way to improve the microbiome is to increase variety in your food sources. It's not about eating less, it's about eating more variety. And then reward. There has to be a reward mechanism, because the way our brain is wired is, is it's looped a certain way that we seek reward. So the reason that your paycheck isn't enough for you and you've got to go buy something or people have to go drink or they have to go and gamble it away is because they don't feel a sense of reward. They don't feel a sense of deep appreciation. They don't feel a sense of gratitude that this is enough. Somebody else is controlling the nervous system and telling them, you've got to go buy this or do this to feel happy. Right? So now they'll go do that instead of buy organic food. Right. Or hire a personal trainer, because all these things start adding up. So there has to be proper reward. And if you reward yourself properly, you understand how the brain is wired for reward, then you can accomplish anything. Any goal you set your mind to, you can accomplish. But you have to have the right reward mechanism in place. So do you see why this can basically create bulletproof outcomes? Raise your hands if you see if you incorporated all of this into your life, that you would basically be guaranteed a level of health that very few people would be able to accomplish? Yeah, I mean, that's what I want for me. Did you know it's it kind of breaks my heart. I know. I coach medical doctors and naturopathic doctors, chiropractors, osteopathic doctors. And the reason they get into our profession of functional medicine is because they realize they're giving their patients different advice than they would give their family members. Let that sink in. Okay, so the advice I'm giving you is the same advice I would give a family member. Okay. Is to work on these things. So why is this unique? So it's really a mental, physiological and physical transformation. We're not just looking for a number to change on a piece of lab work. We're looking for a total transformation and it results in permanent results. Okay, so you kind of like, even from this, there's things that you learn today that have turned parts of your life that were caterpillars into butterflies. Did anyone experience that? Where something shifted in you and you're going to look at it a little bit differently now? Yeah, I hope so. And so you can't go backwards, right? When you learn this stuff, you can't go backwards. You can't unsee it. It addresses the underlying causes, not the symptoms. Symptoms are easy to fix. Right. There's a cornucopia of drugs that you can take if you want to feel a certain way. If you want to feel high, you want to feel low, you want to feel tired, you want to feel awake, you want to feel pain, less pain, more pain, you can take pills for that. That's not what I'm interested in. Okay. We already know you can do that for pennies on the dollar. And I like that it can be done remotely by anyone. So we work with people, really, from all over the world because we're working on promoting health, not treating a disease. Okay. And it does not require excess exercise because we want to lower inflammation in the body. Okay. So the key is not to exercise more. The key is to do the right type of joyful movement that produces the result that you want. Anyone here actually, like, going to the gym at 5:00 in the morning? Two people. Okay. Two people. That's okay. I'm not like, no, that's awesome, right? But most people don't. But that's the only time that they could go, right? Because their day is so busy. Right. It gets away from them. So if we can incorporate joyful movement throughout the day that we look forward to, that we're excited about, that produces the result that we're looking for. Why not do that? Okay. That actually does good for your body. It offers a supportive network and Accountability and you eat real food and you develop healthy, sustainable habits. That's the key. The key to carving the canyon is consistency. It's not doing something for a week and then forgetting about it. It's really about doing it consistently over time. And that consistency doesn't happen on your own. Okay? It's your best thinking that's got you where you are right now and that's why you're here. You made a smart decision to be here and I honor you for that. And so in this 10 week program, here's what we do. You jump on a call with either myself or Deepa three times, okay. In the beginning, in the middle, and then towards the end, okay? So we're there to support you and kind of hold your hand through this process. We do Weekly Q&As in Facebook and we also upload these to a couple client portal so you're able to watch these videos every week. So we're sharing new information, powerful information that's going to help you shift your health in the right direction. We provide health tips and accountability in our private and online group. And you get direct access to me, you get direct access to Deepa. So whatever questions pop up in your head, you can shoot us a message and we're there to help you. So no more doctor's appointments, okay. No more having to wait, you know, in the doctor's office for an hour or take the afternoon off work to get a few questions answered. Right. It's 2020. Right? We can do things a little bit differently. And the longer you have uncertainty for, the longer you're not acting on something. So the quicker we can get your questions answered, the faster you can act. We also provide you with a special spray. That spray resets using homeopathic formulas, it resets the hypothalamus. Okay. That's a very grade one explanation of it. But what it's going to do is it's going to reset your nervous system. Okay? So powerful intervention there. We also give you a lifestyle guide, a recipe book and a personal food scale. Like I said, you get to work with me and these are all the resources that you get. Okay? So everything that I'm going to talk about is included. One of our bonuses that we're giving right now is a free heartmath unit. So you can certainly go and buy this. But then you got to pay for the training, which is usually around $1,500. We provide that training for you. Okay? So Deepa is a certified instructor and so she'll be training you on how to use this heart math unit. So now you can really go deep with your nervous system. This is like lifting weights for your whole nervous system. Okay? So just like you get stronger in the gym, you curl more weight or you lift more, you bench more, Whatever the case may be, you run faster. This is what it is for your nervous system. It's like a treadmill for your nervous system. Okay? Five minutes twice a day and you're already in the 0.1% of people. Okay. So you can have fantastic results with this. We also will give you. Because you're going to be fasting, one of the things that we're going to be offering you is a breakfast tea or coffee. What's infused in this breakfast tea or coffee is reishi mushrooms. Reishi mushrooms. Remember I said I only do things that have been around for thousands of years. Have been around for 2000 years. There's documented use of reishi for 2000 years because it lowers inflammation in the body because it's a natural appetite suppressant. So we're craving less throughout the day. It naturally balances blood sugar. It acts on the same receptor site as metformin does. So you're balancing blood sugar throughout the day and you're swapping out something that you're probably already doing. Okay? So if you already drink coffee or tea, then we're going to switch it out with something that's going to be a potent anti inflammatory. And reishi is also known to balance your nervous system. So we start seeing instant results with it. We had a gentleman who was actually at a workshop last year and he started drinking the coffee in five days. His IBS went away that he's had for years. Okay. Because all it is is balancing your nervous system. Okay? So that's why reishi is so revered. We also give you a five minute journal. Okay. The five minute journal. Actually, the founder of the journal was at my house the other day for dinner. Ujay. So ujay, if you're watching, big shout out to you and we give you one for the rest of your life. So you fill this out, we will place it for you forever. Okay? Because we want you to practice gratitude every single day. Okay? So it takes about a year to fill it out and you bring it back and we'll keep replacing it for you. Takes five minutes in the morning. Okay. And you know, a couple minutes in the evening. And then you get lifetime access to all these resources and you become involved in our inner circle. Okay? So what that means when you're in our inner circle, then you have direct access to us. When we do live events, you're gonna, you're. Or when we do smaller events because we do private events as well, then you're getting invited to those so we can go deeper in these different areas. In fact, in May, my wife and I are hosting a retreat in Minnesota. And so there's room for about 25 people there. I think half of it might be sold out. But, you know, these are the type of things that you would get invited to to go deeper in these areas because there's so much to learn, there's a lifetime worth of information to learn. And we're going to, as we learn more, we're going to share with you. One thing that we also do is we give you a 100% money back guarantee. So if you do the program, you play all in, okay? And you're getting on the calls, you're doing the things that you need to be doing on your end. I can offer you money back guarantee because I can assure you, if you're doing the things that we teach you, you're going to have much better health. You're going to have health and experience and you're going to have a life experience that every decision you've made in your life has brought you here in this moment. Are you ever think about that? It's pretty cool, right? So thank. Be grateful for all those decisions you've made. But you know, I want this to be another good decision for you as well. If it's the right time and the right fit. And we give you that guarantee because we know that what we do works. We know how your body works, we know how to get it working better. Because what we taught you today is the foundation for health. It's the foundation for living your best life. So whether you have a chronic illness or whether you want to go to that next level, this program is going to help you get there. And I can promise you we're constantly learning new things. So here's the deal. You get all of this and the lifetime access, as I mentioned, for $14.99 or three payments of 549. Okay. This program is delivered online, it's delivered over the phone, and then certain aspects of it will be in person as well. But because we work with people around the world, people who are in Toronto generally tend to take advantage of those in person events that we have better than other people do. Like I said, you'll have access to myself and Deepa as well. The program is structured around a 10 week protocol. And then after that 10 week protocol, we reevaluate. But you'll have lifetime access to all the materials and lifetime access to us. Okay? So we've never actually done that before. So we can only take a limited number of people. Right? You can only imagine how many people we can work with and provide that level of service. But that's what we're committed to. Okay? So that's one of the reasons we say that if you're serious about your health and you're committed to your health and you're devoted to it, then we can be devoted. So, you know, if you're ready to make 2020 the healthiest, who's ready to make 2020 your healthiest and happiest ever? Yeah, let's do it. Right. Who deserves the healthiest version of you? Everybody but you. Right? You do. So here's your next steps. Commit to yourself. Okay? Fill out the survey, make sure so we can get you the slides. Go to the back and schedule a free phone consultation. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to offer you a complimentary phone consultation so we could talk about your goals. Remember, the first thing we have to do is we have to hear your story. We have to know that this is the right fit. We're the right fit for you, you're the right fit for us, okay? And there's never any obligation, okay? The obligation I suggest is that be heard for the first time. Get somebody who can at least ask you some of the right questions so you know what to start thinking about. Okay? And then from there you can start making more informed decisions. So I promise you, my commitment to everybody is I will always leave you better than I found you. I will always leave you. Did I leave you better than I found you today? Okay. So imagine what a 20 minute call can do, okay? You can't force somebody to get healthy. So we don't force people to get healthy, but you can lead them there and you can show them what that looks like. And that's my mission to do that. You'll fill out an online survey form that we'll send you that will give us a little bit more history about you and then get ready for an amazing transformation. And what I'll say is, because your time is valuable and our time is just as valuable. It's not any more valuable. It's just as valuable. I want you to be serious, okay? So when you show up on that call, I want all of you to schedule today. But when you show up on that call, I want you to be serious. Be in a space where you can talk and have a serious conversation. Okay? Don't be at the daycare with your kids. Right. Commit to a time that works for you. And we're here to help. We're here to serve. So I've actually opened up. I'm going to Hawaii in. When are we going deeps? Next week, 14th. Okay. So I've opened up a few hours in my schedule to accommodate before I go. For some of you, it might be after that. For some of you, might be scheduling a time with Deepa, who's smarter and more beautiful than me. And her voice, I think, is sexier on the phone, too. So either one of us is happy to help you and serve you and get you started on the right foot. And, of course, I want to thank you for staying with us today. Sorry if I went a little bit over, but I hope you got more value out of it than you were expecting. And I'm happy to stick around and answer any questions that you have. For those of you that want to go to the back, Alice and Ricky and Jessica will be happy to help you. And. And I'll stick around and answer any questions as well. Go ahead.
