Friends. Hope you're all having an amazing day so far. Welcome, welcome. And if you're in a spot where you can turn your cameras on, I'd love to see your lovely faces. Welcome, welcome, everyone. And as you're tuning in here, if you can type in the chat, what's one thing that you're grateful for today? As you're tuning in, let me know one thing that you're grateful for today. Hey. Baruca says my daughter is coming to visit me this weekend. Leova Len Yovi says for the sun to be out finally. Yes. And it's a much nicer and warmer day today. Barb says her aura ring arrives on Monday. Yay. Exciting. Dan says, beautiful weather and getting my strength back to do yard work. Awesome. Yeah, it's perfect time of year for heading out and doing some yard work. So welcome, welcome, everyone. As you're tuning in here, let me know what you're grateful for. Awesome. Welcome, Louise. Welcome, Ed. Welcome, Julie. And. And we just are having everyone type something into the chat in terms of what they're grateful for today. Alice says being able to be by the sea, as Alice is in southern Italy at the moment, enjoying her life in terms of being able to work virtually and be anywhere at any time as long as she has Internet. Right. That's the beauty of technology.
I was even debating working on the beach today, pushing it right now, but there's WI fi everywhere, so I'm like.
You know, why not? Yeah, exactly.
Yeah.
The sea is so healing.
Yes, it is. Okay, awesome. So we'll get started with a little bit of breathing just to kind of get us into a parasympathetic state. So if you can all sit in a nice comfortable spot and we'll do some coherence breathing. So we'll have you. Coherence breathing is when we're breathing in for six seconds and then breathing out for six seconds. And that cadence of six seconds in and six seconds out is. Puts us into a state of coherence, which means that our body is in a more parasympathetic state and that we are more resilient to stress. So there's lots of apps that you can download. There's a really great one called. It's called I breath, or I breathe, rather, I think. Yeah, it's I breathe. And it basically allows you to put in intervals in terms of how long you want to inhale for, if you want to hold your breath at the end of the inhale, how long you want to exhale for, if you want to hold your breath at the end of the exhale. It's a great app to use because you can really customize your breathing cycles. Then it's great too, because if you're doing some passive work, then you can have this in the background and it can prompt you in terms of depending on your intervals, in terms of when to inhale, when to exhale. So definitely recommend trying that app out. So if you could, we'll just get started with maybe two or three minutes. That's all you really need to start with. And make sure you're in a nice comfortable seat, make sure your feet are firmly planted on the ground or you can even sit cross legged on the ground. I know some of you might be driving, so if you're driving, then you know you can still do the breathing. Just don't close your eyes, obviously, but you can still participate and do this breathing while you're driving and doing, you know, quote unquote passive activities as well. Okay. So great tool to have in your pocket and you know, something that I highly recommend that you try to focus on throughout the day. So, you know, in a lot of ancient cultures, like ayurvedic cultures, we talk a lot about pranayama, which is the science of breathing and the ancient practice of breathing. And they talk about the tortoise versus the hare. The tortoise, I believe, breeds about six breaths per minute versus the hare, I think is about 25 to 30. And which one lives longer, the tortoise or the hare? Right, so we all know that the tortoise lives longer. So the slower we can breathe, the more we can slow down our breath. You know, there's a lot of science around how that can extend our longevity. Okay, so I'll put on a little bit of nice music here and then we will get started. Okay, so we're going to inhale for.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Exhale for 1, 2, 3,. 4, 5, 6.
Inhale.
1, 2, 3, 4,. 5, 6.
Exhale.
1, 2, three, four, five, six.
Inhale.
1, two, three, four, five, Six.
Exhale.
1, two, Three, four, five, six.
Exhale. Oh, sorry.
Inhale, 1, 2, 3, 4%, 5, 6.
Exhale.
1, 2, 3, 4. 5, 6. Inhale, 6, 3, 6, 5, 4, 3.
2.
1. Inhale. 1, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six. Exhale, two, three, four, Five, Six.
Inhale.
One, two, three, Four, Five, Six.
EXHALE.
1, 2, 3, Four, Five, Six.
And now just return back to your normal breath, whatever that is. And throughout the rest of the meeting you can, you know, try to keep that cadence as much as possible. And whenever you're ready, if you have your eyes closed, you can open your eyes, And we'll get started here. Okay?
So.
Today I wanted to talk about a topic that I'm kind of going down the rabbit hole, so to speak with. And, you know, it's. I went to a conference last week, and we. We talked a lot about energy medicine. So some of you might be familiar with this, some of you may not be. So I'll kind of just touch on it briefly here, and then we can obviously move on. Q and A. But, you know, as you may or may not know, everything has energy in it, right? Our bodies, our cells are, you know, objects, right? Our desk, plants. Everything has energy in it, right? And so it plays a huge role in terms of our health and healing, right? So there's a whole field behind this. It's called quantum biology or quantum healing, right? And, you know, an interesting video for you all to perhaps watch. I'll put it in the link when I find it is something called cymatics. Who's heard of cymatics here before? Raise your hand if you have. Yeah, okay. So cymatics is basically when we play music, and, you know, we might have sand on a. On a plate, and when we play the music, then the sand changes based on the sound, right? And this also comes back to. There's a Japanese scientist who did a lot of science with regards to water, right? And when we speak to water in a loving way, which is why we give you all those jars, those glass jars that have all these positive words on them, because it changes the structure of the water when we infuse it with positive intention, right? So he did an experiment where he had two, you know, let's say jars of water, one jar, you know, he spoke very lovingly to, you know, gave it a lot of positive attention, intention. And then the second jar, he did the opposite. And when he froze the water from those two jars, the structure of the water was completely different. The water with the positive intention was very nicely structured and nice crystalline shapes, whereas the water that was spoken to negatively was very disorganized and not really a very nice shape, so to speak. I think it's Dr. Emoto, and you could probably find lots on YouTube. I'm just gonna see if I can find something. But, you know, our energy and our intention is so important to our healing, right? So this kind of demonstrates also that our thoughts are super important in terms of our healing, right? Because anything that we think whether we say it out loud or not is gonna eventually manifest. Right. The old saying is whether you think you can or can't, you're right. If you think you can do something, you're right. If you think you can't do something, you're right as well. Right. So really just touching on this topic very loosely, but something for you to be aware of, right. And so even with plants, right. There's been data showing that when you talk to plants in a loving way, when you, you know, for a lot of people who are going to be starting their gardens, last week we planted our garden and we were talking to our little like seedlings and you know, giving them a lot of love and that's probably going to change the way they grow, right. Versus when we don't pay our plants much attention, they, they don't grow as well. Right. And there's, you know, this other, in, in relation to this topic, there's something called electroculture farming. So I don't know how many of you farm or garden here or grow, you know, some herbs or vegetables in your garden over the spring and summer. If you do, raise your hand. So yesterday what I did is I went to Home Depot because of what I have read and listened to and I purchased some copper coil. It's like a 20 gauge copper wire. And you know how we all put like those wooden stakes in our garden to support our plants. I wrapped this copper coil around the wooden stakes and you put them into your garden. And copper is a great conductor for energy. Right. So the sun basically absorbs the energy into the copper and it helps to create more healthy soil. So there's been lots of anecdotal reports of people and this is something that we, you know, used to do in like the 1800s, 1900s and people, you know, just don't do these kind of practices anymore. But it's been shown to increase yield, increase the size of your plants and your, you know, tomatoes and potatoes, whatever you're growing. So I'm going to do a little experiment. I'm going to put, you know, these copper coiled stakes into my garden. But I've done tomatoes in pots. So I'm going to do one pot with no copper coiled steak and see the difference in terms of what happens. Okay, so will be an interesting experiment and for any of you who are interested, I can certainly send you more information on this if you're interested in learning a little more. But yeah, super, super interesting. You know, there's always so much to learn, right? Even with regards to water. So I've been drinking from this copper water bottle for, you know, at least over a year or two years. And copper, in India, we use copper a lot. And copper has many benefits. Copper's, you know, naturally, it's antibacterial, it's anti inflammatory, helps with digestion, can help break down fat to support weight loss, it helps with your skin. So a lot of great benefits to copper. And I guess I was doing this without really, I mean, I knew a little bit about it. But copper also helps to infuse your water with that positive energy, right? And so it's called structured water. So, you know, when you look at water in a river or an ocean, it's very, it doesn't flow in. You know, when you think of water in an ocean or river versus the way water comes through in our pipes and our taps, taps, it's very different, right? So when water flows through our pipes and our tap water, it's lost a lot of its positive energy and electricity, right? Because everything has a charge to it. So copper actually helps to restructure your water back to its original state. Okay. So, you know, I usually fill this up like the night before and then I let it sit. And then this is what I sip on throughout the day. And I put a little bit of unrefined sea salt in my, in my water bottle as well. So when you structure your water and you drink water the way it's meant to be drank, then you don't really have to worry about this eight glasses of water or 10 glasses of water, because this type of water is going to be much more hydrating than just regular tap water. Okay? So lots of little things to learn, right? And rabbit holes to go down, but just something to be aware of, right? And this goes back down, back to going back to our thoughts, right? Where like the reason why we have you focus on your breathing and you know, you know, spend some time. I don't. Whatever you want to call it, whether you want to call it medit meditation or breathing practice or mindfulness, is because we want to become more aware of the thoughts that we're having, right? Because ultimately by the end of this program, we want you to become more aware, right? We want you to become more aware about your food choices, number one, you know, how much water you're drinking, your overall health, right? And when we have more awareness, then we become less reactive, right? We're able to stabilize our emotions better, right? We're able to not have to, you know, turn to food, perhaps or sugar or other things to soothe our emotions, right? So we're able to take that pause. So that's how it kind of all, you know, ties in. Okay. So just wanted to put that out there. Like I said, if any of you are interested in learning more about what I kind of touched on, let me know, and I can send you some links in terms of where you can find out more information. And it's really like this whole nother level, and it shatters like, a lot of, like, you know, this one particular gentleman that I'm listening to about all this, like, it even comes down to there's so many different layers and levels to our health, right. Even some of it comes down to the clothing that we wear, right. And the materials, right. These days, a lot of our clothing is made from plastic, right. Polyester and that, you know, and it's. It's a hard truth, but I. I personally own a lot of Lululemon clothing, and a lot of it's polyester. Right. And, you know, if you think back to, you know, the 1900s, early 1900s, hospitals used to have linen sheets because linen is very healing, right? So natural fabrics like linen and cotton and wool are what's better for our school, our skin, Okay? So just a little thing to be familiar with, right? And one thing to note is obviously, we want everything in balance, right? So too much of something is not great either, right? So the mineral that helps to balance copper is zinc. So you want to have, you know, a balanced approach, right? We don't want to overdo one thing and then throw other things off balance, right. Another. Another practice that you can implement, right. Is grounding, right? So we. We will. Many of you have probably heard, we recommend that you try to get at least five to 10 minutes of morning sunlight. So. So the sun actually is very healing, right? The sun is full of energy. It recharges us, right? And we've been told that the sun is bad for us, right. Once again, things in excess are not good, right? But we want to have the right amount, right? So it's not that the sun altogether is bad for us, right? We want to get the right amount of sun. So early morning is great because the sun's rays are not that. Not as strong. There's a great app called Deminder and put it in the chat, and you want to make sure that's, as Jan said, without sunscreen and without sunglasses, because the sun is one of the best ways for us to reset our circadian clock, right? We are circadian beings, which means that we rely on the cycle of the sun. Right. So at least, at least minimum five minutes. If you can do longer, great. Right. But within the first hour of waking, try to get that morning sun. Right. I'll see people on my morning walk and they're wearing like a hat and glasses and I just want to go up to them and be like, just take your sunglasses off for 15 minutes. You don't need them. Right. Unless you're going to be like staring directly at the sun and it's midday and you're out for like five, six, seven hours. Yes, wear your sunglasses. Right. But 15 minutes of walking outside without sunglasses is not going to harm you. It's actually going to be beneficial for your eyes, contrary to popular belief. And also when we block the sun. So when you go on, I'm going off on all different tangents, but when you go, you know, a lot of us may have gone on a one week, all inclusive, right? And we go there and we lie in the sun and we wear our sunglasses and then like the next day we're like burnt. A couple things with that is, number one, you wore sunglasses. The rays of the sun, it doesn't go to your brain, doesn't communicate to your brain that you're in the sun to produce more melanin, which actually protects you from the sun so you burn more easily. Number two is you go from sitting indoors for pretty much 24 hours to being outside for 24 hours and you're not acclimated to the sun. Right. So there's people, you know, ancient cultures used to be outside all the time, right. And they never got skin cancer. But we have to acclimate to the sun. Right. And also seed oils are very inflammatory and actually make us more sensitive to the sun and more prone to. Us more prone to sunburn and cancer. Right. So when we eat real food, we actually have better protection against the sun's rays. Yeah, Dr. Jack Cruz, he's like another tangent. But yeah, he's got some really great research and insights into light. We have a great. If you haven't looked at your program modules and practice better, we have a great talk on lighting with a dear friend of ours. His name's Rudy Nassif. So I would highly recommend watching that. He, you know, does a really great presentation on lighting. So I can walk you guys through. If you're not familiar how to access your program modules and practice better, make sure that you are accessing that information because we have a lot of great talks in there for you guys to up Level your health. Okay, Any questions about that? I know I kind of gave you guys a whole bunch of stuff there, but any questions about any of that? The sun also has been shown like when we, when we expose our skin to the sun, it also helps with our metabolism. Right. So there's receptors on our skin that help accelerate metabolism. Right. So a lot of benefits if you are going to use sunscreen. Of course, if you're out for long periods of time, you can use sunscreen. We went to Mexico for five days and with my, with our family and me, my husband, my son, I think like I wore sunscreen maybe like twice. Whereas like my other family members were like slathering it on, they're like spraying it like so, you know, of course like I was mostly in the shade. But if you are going to use sunscreen, I usually recommend something like zinc oxide rather than a lot of the traditional sunscreens that are out there. A lot of them in the recent years have been actually shown to cause cancer because of the chemicals that are in it. So just make sure that you're using more natural sunscreen. So zinc oxide is usually a more natural sunscreen. It actually is a sun block. So it's more of a physical blockage rather than a chemical blockage. Yes. Mary, take some time to enjoy the sun. That's why so many of us also feel better when we go on those week long vacations to Mexico because we're in the sun. Right. So healing. So the app, if you want to download it, is called D minder. Monica says I really need to leave my sunglasses at home. Yeah. And, and also like, you know, when you first stop wearing sunglasses, you might walk outside and be like, I can't see, like it's too bright. So you have to start slowly in terms of exposing yourself safely to the sun and obviously don't stare directly at it. Like I said, in the morning it's pretty low intensity. So you should be able to go outside without sunglasses in the morning because the intensity is lower. Same thing with the evening, midday. You know, if you feel like it's too bright, then by all means, you know, you can throw some sunglasses on.
But.
You know, go slow. What about the information about sun? Yes. So once again, you know, if you're out for long periods of time, if it's midday, if you're not in the shade, if you're directly in the sun, you may want to throw some on. Right. My, my brother in law is actually an optometrist and you know, he's a Big advocate of sun Sungl which obviously there's a time and place, right. But most of us these days are not outside for very long. Right. We're walking from our house to our car, driving somewhere. So like that amount of sun exposure is in my opinion, not going to be harmful. Like I said, if you are out on a day where you're out a little bit longer, then wear a hat. There's other ways to protect you from the sun if you're going to be out for longer periods of time. Right. So you don't necessarily need the sunglasses. You can wear a hat which creates some shade over your eyes. Okay. So getting out through for short periods of time throughout the day, right. Morning, evening, midday. So your body can kind of know what time of day it is. Right. Our brain has its own internal clock which is synced with the sun. Right. And if we're indoors all the time, we're not getting that sunlight exposure to our brain. So, you know, that's why a lot of sleep issues can stem from a lack of being outside. Right. So really make sure that you're trying to. That's why, you know, even sometimes, like they say, that's, you know, even though smokers like the smoking is not good, but they go outside so much. Right. So it can sometimes offset some of the negative impacts of smoking. Right. Because they get that fresh air compared to people who don't smoke. So any recommendations for breathable long sleeve clothing for when I'm out in the kayak? Yes. So wool clothing is excellent. You can get different weights of wool. So if it's summer, wool is very breathable, it dries very easily, it regulates temperature very well. There's a store, Barb, I think you live in Ontario, right? Yes. So I don't know if you're close to Milton, but the Toronto outlets in Milton there's a store called Icebreaker which sells, it's all merino wool. And there's the lighter the weight, the thinner the, the material. So for, for summer, of course you'd want a lightweight base layer which will be long sleeve. And then obviously in the winter if you're camping or things like that. And the nice thing with wool is it doesn't smell right. Even if you wear it for like days and days and days, it doesn't smell right. So it regulates temp. Whereas if you wore like your Lululemon, like it's gonna stink after a while.
Right.
So yes, Costco will sometimes carry merino based layers as well, especially in the winter. I don't know about now. But Icebreaker sells it obviously year round. Right. So we can use clothing as a means of protection from the sun as well. Right. Rather than these slathering on these chemical creams. Right. And all these people who slather them on their children. Like I just want to, like. Yeah. So lots of, lots of options. Right. Okay, so what questions do you all have for our remaining time? Doesn't have to just be on this topic that we just discussed. It can be whatever is on your mind. How's everyone's programs going? I know some of you here have started and are in, you know, call it first few weeks. Some are near the end, some have finished, some haven't started yet. Monica's asking what sunscreen would you recommend? Okay, so sunscreen I would recommend is great to see you here. I, I will order some things from. Well, ca. Right now they actually have a sale on a particular brand of sunscreen which is mineral sunscreen which is, you know, going to be that zinc oxide based. Let me just get you the link here.
Okay.
I just want to double check the ingredients on this one. Mineral, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Yeah, so this is the one. So this is a good brand. Put it in chat. That one specifically is for the face, but I think they have body ones as well. Yeah, body lotion. Okay. Ed says I broke protocol with breakfast meeting at 8am rather than 10am eating off menu. Should my next meal be within eight hours or rather should I adjust the rest of the day? So I would say you could have the next meal within the eight hour time frame and then you'll be fasting. Right. And you may have to extend your fast to kind of get back on schedule tomorrow for tomorrow. So have your have your second meal closer to the end of that eight hour window so that you still maintain the eating window and then it'll just be a little bit of a longer fast. Alice says my linen shirt is saving me in the heat. Super breathable and lightweight. Great for days where it's very sunny and you'll still like to be outdoors. Yeah. Correct. Yeah, Sorry Monica, I'm trying to find another brand for you here. I don't wear sunscreen pretty often. So let's see here. Obviously and the other thing is like I have darker skin, Right. So I have more melanin. So I actually, in order to get enough vitamin D, have to be outside in the sun longer than someone with lighter skin. Right. So you know, if you have lighter skin then of course you're going to burn more easily, especially if you're not acclimated to the sun. So you know that that app that I mentioned, the Dminder app, is a great app because it's going to allow you to enter where you live geographically and then enter, like your ancestry so that it can, you know, give you a safe amount of sun exposure. Yes. So if you feel thirsty, then I would definitely add some electrolytes to your water or unrefined sea salt. Okay, so electrolytes. Ed, I'm going to unmute you. Let me know what specifically you wanted to know about electrolytes. And I'll talk about amino acids too.
Yeah. So I have a daughter that had some serious medical conditions and they at that time, heart conditions, and at the time they were very worried about the electrolytes. So I've been. And it's associated with not getting the right food intake and you're not getting enough electrolytes through your nutrition. So I'm wondering, with the low calorie count on the program, should we be taking electrolytes as a supplement to make sure we have the right levels?
Yes, I usually will recommend some form of electrolyte, whether it's a supplement or just even putting in zinc oxide. Oh, sorry. I'm talking about the sunscreen and salt into your water. So unrefined sea salt is what I would suggest because it's going to have could be refined and remove a lot of the natural benefits and it's going to have some minerals in there too. If you are going to use an electrolyte supplement, there is a couple of different brands that we like here in the US which, you know, you always have more options. There is the designs for health brand that we like. There's also another brand called Element, which is great. So I can put some of the links in the chat as well.
Thank you. And then similar with the amino acids.
Yeah. So amino acids, in my opinion, if you're eating animal proteins, you should be getting sufficient amino acids because animal proteins usually have a broad spectrum of amino acids and are more complete, complete source of all the amino acids. For vegetarians, I would definitely recommend, you know, an amino acid supplement. I personally take one myself because I don't eat animal protein. So an amino acid supplement can be beneficial if you're vegetarian. And also for those who, even if you're not vegetarian, if you are engaging in more intense physical activity, then you might want to supplement with an amino acid as well.
Do you have any recommendations on those?
Yep, I can put that in the chat as well.
I should Have. I should have phrased this part of the question differently. The reason I'm asking is it shows on my scale readout.
Yep.
That and not even. Even before we started the program, it showed that my protein levels were low and I tend to eat excessive amounts of protein. So I was surprised to see that.
Yeah.
Before the program.
So for you, the amino acid supplement might be good because you may not be digesting your protein well. Right. Because protein ultimately has to be broken down into amino acids. And if you're not digesting them well, then, you know, it may be beneficial for you to just take the straight amino acids.
Okay. All right.
And if you're not. If you do, you know, there are some symptoms associated with poor protein digestion. Like one of the main ones I can think of off the top of my head is like gas with an odor. So you may want to consider taking like a hcl, like a digestive enzyme with HCL in it, which can help with breaking down proteins.
Yeah. That's not it. Because I never have gas.
Okay. Okay. Okay.
Good to know.
Okay.
So only when I eat lots of sugar.
Okay. So I'll put this other electrolyte in here as well.
Okay.
Somebody was asking, here are shallots on the free veggie list or the non free free veggie list? Oh, Annalisa or Alice. If you guys have the answer, you can type it in as. Okay. You guys find it.
It's not exclusively on either of the lists.
Okay.
I would imagine it to be very similar to a red onion, which is considered free.
Yeah. Let me check if we have anything in our Facebook group. I think it might be be free. Might have to get back to you, but I think it might be free.
Yeah.
Personally, I would consider it free.
Yeah, I agree.
Okay.
Our yam sweet potatoes. So, yeah, sweet potatoes for the release phase are off limits. And then on maintenance, you can certainly reintroduce them back in. Hey, Baruch. Where is she? There she is. Okay, you can go ahead and unmute. Hi. Hi there.
So I think I'm on week seven maintenance, and I tried to go for a bicycle ride, and I was very discouraged that my muscles were very weak, way weaker than before. I started the program, and it wasn't a strenuous ride, but I just was very.
So what I would recommend is.
On.
The maintenance phase, you really want to focus on strength training. Nothing vigorous, mostly using your own body weight. Right. So there's a lot of, like, gentle movements that you can do to kind of increase strength on a daily basis. You can do squats. Right. So you can make sure that there's a couch behind you and just do squats until your butt hits the couch and then come back up. You can do wall push ups, you can do lunges, you can do. I can put a few YouTube videos for you, which might be beneficial. But that's what I would recommend is just some body weight exercises to help you bring your strength up if that is an issue.
Yeah, I've lost inches and I thought that that was good, but apparently I've lost inches of muscle and I'm definitely weaker than before I started. I was trying to be more healthy, not weaker.
Did you. Did you use the Renfo scale at all? Because it. And did you look at the percentage of muscle mass versus body fat as you were on the program?
No.
Okay. So obviously, you know, it might be. I think a lot of those features are when you download the app. App. So when you download the app and sync it with the scale, it'll give you some added metrics, like just going in the app right now, your weight, your bmi, body fat percentage, skeletal muscle mass, skeletal muscle, muscle mass. So it would have been interesting to see because most people on the program don't lose muscle mass, they lose fat. So, you know, it's very rare for people to lose muscle mass. It's mostly fat that. That the program is geared to target.
You aren't hearing people tell you that their muscles are weaker than.
No, because we still encourage activity. It's just that we don't encourage intense activity. So things like walking, stretching, that type of activity is still encouraged.
Yeah, I've been doing that all along.
Okay.
I hadn't read my bicycle.
Yeah. And you know, if you haven't done it in a while, like, it may just take a little bit of time for you to build back up. Right. So just go really slow, you know, five to 10 minutes at the most a day, and then slowly increase it. Even as Alice said here, to slowly increase your activity back up to things that you may not have been used to doing for a long time.
Well, that's not the point. The point is that I'm not. Compared to where I was before starting the program. Yeah.
I would need to see those metrics. Right. Which I don't have. So, I mean, it is what it is. You are. If that's what you're noticing, then the only way to remedy that, like I said, is to increase the activity back up slowly.
So I'm going to watch. I know there was a module about it. So Is it more increasing the amount of reps that you do rather than.
Yeah. So no, I wouldn't recommend any weight at this point. Just using your own body weight.
Yeah.
And then I would say no more than eight to ten reps to start off with. Times three sets.
All right, thanks.
You're very welcome. I'll put something in the last one here. 30 minute workouts on 20 minute recipes. 10 minute. Sorry, started playing. Okay. So, yeah, Alice, if you could tag Baruch in that post, that would be great. Okay. What other questions do you all have today? Questions?
Comments?
Jan is saying my squill scale put. Displaying any information I gotta do different. One skill showing. Yeah, you're talking about the body weight scale, Jan. Okay. Is the. Are the battery. Is the battery out? Perhaps you can unmute.
It records my weight.
Okay.
It used to do, you know, sequentially the other numbers. So I was wondering if it doesn't show the. I did not put it active to the app.
Yep.
So if I try that, will it show on my phone as opposed to on the screen of the scale?
Yes, it should. Okay. Yeah. So I would download the app and then you have to sync it. Sync it. The scale with your phone. With the app.
And then I just never started it with the phone because I wasn't getting the numbers on the screen.
Yes. So now you should be able to.
Okay. And I had a question about wearing the Oura ring at night. Are we exposed? You know, isn't that a Bluetooth transmitter?
Yep. So basically, the nice thing about the Oura ring and the reason why we recommend the Oura ring is because you can put it on airplane mode. So when you go in the app, on the top right hand corner, the little circle which indicates the battery, if you click on that. So I just clicked on it. You can put the ring in airplane mode.
Okay.
Okay. And then that basically, you know, for the most part, like, I usually will try to put my ring on airplane mode during, like, at night. And then I. You have to put it back on the charger to be able to see the data. And then you can just turn it back off.
But it will record your sleep data.
Yep.
Okay.
It'll still record your sleep data. Yeah. So Barb is saying, are your personal metrics safe on a public app like Renfo? So I think, you know, with any app, like, I think, you know, in terms of safe safety, you can always go into the settings of your phone and, you know, turn off a lot of the features. Right. Like something like a Renfro app doesn't need access to your mic. Right. Or doesn't need access to your photos or your camera. So a lot of those things, like, I think when you download an app, it will ask you. Sometimes it'll ask you if you would if you're going to allow access. So you can say no. And if you don't feel comfortable, obviously don't download it. Any other questions? LaRonda can go ahead and unmute.
So the, the spray, I got the chirothen instead of the.
The.
The current.
Yep.
And yeah, the drops. And so my question is, would it be possible to put a spray cap on it and use it that way? How many drops should I use?
Yes, great question. So you'll want to leave it as the drops, not with the spray. It's going to be the same as the spray. So it'll still be seven drops three times a day for the loading and then five drops three times a day for the release phase.
Awesome.
Thank you.
You're welcome. And Barb was asking about the airplane mode, so, yeah, I would personally recommend having it on airplane mode while you're wearing it, especially if you're concerned about Bluetooth and emf. And then the only time you would take it off airplane mode is when you actually want to see your data. So you just put it back on the charger, take it off airplane mode, show you your data, and then you can take it off the charger, put it back on and put it on airplane mode. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, great to connect today and we'll see you all next Friday. Have a lovely weekend. Get outside, get some sunshine, and if you have any other questions, let us know. And you can always post them in the Facebook group or the group chat that we're all a part of. Thank you, everyone. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
Bye.
