New Patient Challenge: Day 5 - How?

A recorded live training by Sachin Patel focused on personal growth, building resilient practices, and using storytelling and communication to deploy what attendees learned. Patel uses the tree metaphor to emphasize growth and connection, presents a four-step mindset model (conceive, believe, become, receive), and gives a practical Five-Cs framework for social posts (capture interest, create interest, clarify benefits, establish credibility, call-to-action). He also covers communication styles (DISC/Colby) and guerrilla marketing examples, interweaving personal anecdotes, participant shares, and VIP/mentorship offers.

Good morning, my friends. How are you today? For being here. Thank you for being you. Really thrilled that we've been able to spend the last few days together. I see some very beautiful, consistent, committed faces. I think that's the most important thing when it comes to success, is your commitment not only to yourself, but to your purpose. And when we can find what we love to do and do it on a consistent basis, getting paid for it is actually a bonus, isn't it? I always ask myself, if I won the lottery, would it change what I did every day? So much peace. Not to mention the next part, Right? So go ahead and type into the chat for me what you're most grateful for. And I want you to celebrate. If you would give yourself permission to celebrate if you were here every day, if you were here four days, three days, maybe today is your first day. Give yourself that opportunity to celebrate because what you're doing is you're focusing on your growth. And at the end of the day, that's all there is, right, on a daily basis, is our ability to grow and to connect. I love trees because trees are a great metaphor for life. You ask a tree what it's doing, the answer is always, I'm growing, isn't it? The other answer it'll give you is, I am connecting. The tree can only really survive if it connects with the surrounding trees. In fact, trees support one another and provide nutrients to one another. So while above the surface, they look like they're competing for the sun's beautiful rays, below the surface, they're actually sharing nutrients, and that's actually done through the mycelium network. In fact, some of you may or may not know this, but when a birch tree gets struck by lightning, all the surrounding trees become aware of it, of the damage that the tree took, and they share nutrients, and those nutrients actually grow into medicines for humans, because that's known as a chaga mushroom. So when you see a chaga mushroom on a tree, that chaga represents the collective efforts of all the trees, all the birch trees in the surrounding area that share their nutrients with that tree and grew what looks like a scab on the tree, and it's one of the most nutrient dense superfoods on the planet that actually destroys cancer in the human body. In fact, Paul Stamets used chaga mushroom to help his mom survive breast cancer. So nature provides us with some excellent metaphors for life. And what I love about a tree is that it is so wise in its ways. It's growing towards the sun, it's Sharing and providing for other trees, support and nurturing, and that's what communities do. So growth and connection are what I feel are ultimately our keys to success. Okay, so you've hopefully done a little bit of both or a lot of both this week, connecting with other people. Right. Everyone who is here is here because they want to grow and because they want to connect, and that's why you showed up. You want to grow your practice, you want to grow your impact, you want to grow your influence, you want to grow your ability to serve others. So this really isn't, in my opinion, about new patients. Right. One of the things I learned a long time ago is that you sell people what they want, but then you really give them what they need. So I hope that you learned a lot of lessons this week. There's lots of lessons that you'll unpack. I look at a lot of our trainings are like meditations. And I think our mentorship clients who are active with us would agree. In the height of all the chaos that's surrounding me, I'll share some pictures of what's going on in my house right now so you can get a glimpse of what's. What's happening. But it's because of my community and my commitment to grow that I'm able to get through a week like this. And so when we have that resilience in ourselves, we can create that resilience in our business, we can create that resilience in our relationships. And at the end of the day, those are the things ultimately that matters. Right. If you had an extra million dollars in your bank account, but nothing else changed in your life, is that the life that you want? So we focus on helping our clients understand how to build a business where we are abundance generators. Abundance seeks us, we don't seek it. And that really depends on who you're willing to become in the process. I think many of us would probably agree that we attract exactly who we are, because the frequency that we are vibrating at is the exact frequency that we are attracting into our lives. So we are essentially a. Our life is a five dimensional representation of the frequency that we are vibrating at. So if we want to change anything around us, if we want to attract new people into our business, into our practice, the focus is always, who are we becoming in the process? What are we becoming in the process? So there's four keys to success. I want you to write these down. The first one is belief. So you have to believe in yourself. You have to believe that whatever vision you have that you birth was not just a vision that you had, but a seed that was planted in you. And you also have to believe that you are the fertile soil for that seed to be birthed, Right? A seed can. If I put a seed on my desk, how long do you think it'll last? Therefore, for hundreds, some seeds, thousands of years, until the conditions are right, I guess what, you are the condition. So the ideas that come to you, the visions that come to you, are seeds. And now we have to believe that we can become the soil that can birth this vision. So what's interesting when it comes to success and you know, simply, you know, being everything that you can be, is that whatever you can strongly hold as a vision in your mind, and if you can create the right environment within you and around you with the right people reading the right books, watching the right things on the computer or the tv, right? And that's part of what you're doing this week. If you can do that consistently, that's going to make such a huge difference. So we have to believe that it's possible. So we one, conceive ideas, and then we believe that these ideas and these visions are something that can be birthed in us. And the third step is to become right. You have to become the soil. And the fourth step is receive. So let me say that again, I may have botched it up there when I said it. So the first thing we have to do is conceive, right? And these ideas are being conceptualized inside of us. It's the ideas that come to you from a higher source. Those are the ideas that I want to birth. And so the question becomes, who do I have to become? Right? So conceive, believe, become, and then receive. Many of us are not excellent at receiving. And so one way to receive, aside from money, is gratitude. So we cash in every day the universe's abundance in the form of gratitude. Some of you have problems that five new patients aren't going to solve. Some of you have problems that a thousand new patients aren't going to solve. Okay, so when we do this type of work, ultimately we have to do the work on ourselves first. Does everyone see that type in? Yes, if you see that. Awesome. So this is the type of thinking that we need to have in our business and in our entire lives. So a tree again is an excellent metaphor. I hope this is to 10 isn't too tangential for you finding this valuable. Once you play some meditation music, then, you know, things can go a little off track. But we're going to get to a lot of great content today. So thank you. I appreciate the love. So a tree is an excellent metaphor for life. And the one thing I realized is that if you look at a tree, Mother Nature has figured out this formula, okay? Everything vibrates, Everything has a frequency. And so a tree vibrates at a specific frequency. It's no coincidence that if you look at the structure of a tree, it represents mirroring structures in our body, right? The branching architecture that the tree has is the same architecture that the roots have. It's the same architecture that your blood vessels have. Right? It's the same architecture that your brain has. Right? So there's a wisdom and structure vibrates at a certain frequency, right? So a tree is vibrating as an overlap in our frequency because it resembles a similar structure. Does everyone see that? Okay, so sometimes you look at a tree and it looks like a brain. It's a. When I walk through a forest, I realize I'm walking through a five dimensional brain, okay? And that's literally what's happening, right? It's a macrocosm of our microcosm. So everything is fractal in nature, which means that if you can vibrate us at a specific frequency of thought, thought is our highest vibrational frequency that we create. If you can hold a vision in your mind, you are literally quantumly entangled with everything in the universe, and you are creating it in that instance. Whatever you think of right now, if you close your eyes and think of something, the vision that you have, you are literally painting it with your mind into reality, not just on a canvas. The world is your canvas. So every thought we have is a brushstroke on that canvas. Now, if our thoughts are all over the place, imagine trying to paint a painting and the image keeps changing. Wouldn't it feel like every brush stroke was a waste? Right. Imagine on the same canvas, you're trying to paint a forest, and then with the next stroke, you're trying to paint a city scene. Will you end up with anything that resembles either one of those? Probably not. Right? So what we focus on, we literally bring and manifest into reality. But the reason people cannot manifest the reality they want is because their mind is constantly scattered. So the greatest, highest vibrational frequency that we have is our thought, which means that we want to safeguard the thoughts that we are having, the thoughts that we are allowing to occur in our minds. And we want to safeguard ourselves from any negative influences that make us think about the things we don't want to create with our life. So now every question becomes, once you can hold that vision in your mind and that vision can change. Right? It should be constantly upgraded, not downgraded. Most people overestimate what they can do in a week, and they underestimate what they can do in five years. Human beings really don't have a good concept of time. Our concept of time is completely warped since we developed the light bulb. So we have to be very careful who we surround ourselves with, the conversations that we're having, the TV shows that we're watching, all of those things we have to ask ourselves, is this helping me bring my vision into reality? See, many of us get stuck in the how we get stuck in the details. And part of it is trusting the process. It's trusting the process that the details are resolving themselves. When you can look back into your life, you can see that it's so much easier to connect the dots as to why things happened and the lessons you've learned along the way. It's hard to connect the dots moving forward. So human beings get stuck in the how details at the expense of actually continuously thinking about what it is that they want. The right people will come into your life. How many of you have had the right person come into your life at the right time unexpectedly type in, yes, if that's happened to you, yeah, so guess what? That person had to be born and live an entire life and have thousands of meals, and somebody had to care for them and nurture them, and they had to survive every circumstance they'd ever been through to show up in your life for you. So all of your solutions already exist. We just may not know that those solutions exist until the circumstances are required for them to exist. So the right people will show up for you in your life at the right time. Your only responsibility is to safeguard your mind, which is the hardest thing to do. I'm not saying it's easy and be hyper conscientious of the thoughts that you're consistently generating because you're bringing that into reality. Okay, so it's no coincidence that, you know, I'll share a bit of my story as a, as a. Just a representation of this, right? Because we can think big, and I invite you to think big. And if all you learned was this from this last, like 20 minutes, this was hopefully worth the price of admission. So one of the things that you have to realize is that when you're generating thought on a consistent basis, that thought is coming into existence, into reality. Anything that takes you off of that focus is building a different reality. This is why and how our Society is being destroyed right now because of how short people's attention spans have become. So our inability to focus is actually being trained and conditioned to us at a subconscious level. And so our brain is actually being turned to mush. The way you turn a brain to mush is you don't simply destroy it from a nutritional standpoint, you destroy it from a focus standpoint. A brain that can't focus is literally one of the greatest tragedies of life. And that's why you see things like TikTok and you know, you see how short people's attention spans have become, right? Which means they're not able to consistently think about the same thing for more than just a few seconds. Our attention span is shorter than a goldfish. But when you look at society, it's set up that way. So this is why developing focus is actually so much more powerful than we think. Because if we can develop the ability to focus, we can develop the ability to consistently think about what we want. Okay? So that's why meditation and gratitude and self awareness is super, super important. What you focus on expands. I think of the mind like a five dimensional printer, right? Your thoughts are literally printing your reality. But if your focus is constantly shifting, the reality that's being printed is constantly shifting as well. Okay, everyone with me on this, back to the tree. So if you look at a tree, it has a trunk, and nature's figured out this formula, right? So that trunk has branches coming off of it. Are any of the branches ever bigger than the tree? What would happen if the branch, any one of those branches grew bigger than the tree trunk? Any guesses what would happen if any one of those branches grew bigger than the trunk? Right. It would split in half. However, if you took all the branches and collected them together, would they be bigger than the trunk itself? Yeah, if you brought them all together, they'll be much bigger than the trunk. So your business is actually a branch off of that trunk. Your relationships are a branch off of that trunk. Your finances are a branch off of that trunk. And here's the thing, the branches can't grow bigger than you. You're the trunk. So you'll never have a 10 out of 10 business if you're the 6 out of 10 version of you. How can the 6 out of 10 version of YOU create a 10 out of 10 business? And being 10 out of 10 is not just having good blood work, not just having good body composition. Okay. It's actually. Are you vibrating at the highest frequency? What are your most consistent, persistent thoughts? How do you function in a state of dysfunction? Are you the calm in the storm or are you the storm? So it's super important for us to be focused on us when you are a frequency receiver, right? You receive information from light, you receive information from vibration, from sound, from taste, right? You are a receiver. But more importantly and more powerfully, you are a generator. I think about this. We've created so many machines that can sense vibration, that can sense light, even frequencies of light that our eyes can't test. But we haven't been able to generate a machine that generates intelligence and generates thought vibration as powerfully as we can. You are the most powerful instrument on the planet. And that's why nobody teaches you how to use you, because that would be the most disruptive thing on the planet. Okay? So it's not a funnel that's gonna change your business, it's you that's gonna change your business. It's not a script that's gonna change your business. It's not a landing page, it's not an email, it's none of that that's gonna change your business. Until you decide you're going to change your business, and I would always encourage you, don't just focus on one branch in your life and don't measure your success by one branch in your life. Like you wouldn't say, look at that tree, it's so amazing. It's got this one branch sticking out of the side of it while all the rest of the branches are dying because eventually that tree dies too. So it's all the branches that we're trying to grow. That's to me, what success is all about. So I can teach you all the technical stuff. There's other people that can teach you the technical stuff, people you can hire for that. A lot of the problems that we create that stop us from greatness are just five dimensional representations of the thoughts that we're having or the thoughts that we're allowing to permeate in our heads, right? It's only as hard as you think it is. It's only as bad as you think it is. It's only as amazing as you think it is. Okay, so we don't get what we deserve in life. We get what we think we deserve in life. So this week has nothing to do, I hope, has nothing to do with getting five new patients, right? You could, if you all got five new patients from what we taught you this week, that's not going to change the world. What's going to change the world is if we Change ourselves first. And when we're willing to do that, then everything changes. Not just one thing, Everything changes. And guess who gets to decide on what changes? You do. Not somebody else. For you. You. All right, who's with me today? Check in, type in, drop a heart if you're with me. If you're on an Apple computer, you press control, command, spacebar, and all your emojis pop up. All right? Amazing. What a great day to start a Friday, right? I hope you found that valuable. So grow you and do you become the soil. Right? And then you have to be really good at receiving. This is where we. Where we all need to work, right? All of us. I'm a work in progress. I needed to hear this just as much as you. And go hug a tree. Okay. I promise you'll feel good. So share with me what's your biggest takeaway has been the last few days. I'd love to hear what your takeaway has been. And give it some thought. Okay. What's been your biggest takeaway? And it may have been something you heard today. Just now. Now as you're doing that, I love to celebrate one of our members, Holly. Maybe some of you saw her awesome feedback that she shared. So she had pretty powerful response. And it was all about telling her story. She didn't say, oh, my God. People connected with me because of my script. They connected with her because of her story that resulted in her being invited back to come and speak. And they also asked her to put her flyer into all new patient folders to share about her practice. So let's all celebrate and congratulate her. If you see her post in the group, then I invite you to continue to encourage, you know, that type of action taking. And I encourage you to take the action as well. Okay, so today we're gonna be dropping some great golden nuggets. I might go a little bit over the hour. So that's okay with you then? It's okay with me. I'm literally missing another event that I'm part of that I'm actually supposed to be helping facilitate and coordinate. But we'll maybe go above five or six minutes over if we need to. Okay, Everyone okay with that? All right, be sure to share your biggest takeaway. And I always love to know if this is landing for you. I'm a tree. I'm a tree. Yeah, be a tree. I love it. Thanks, James. All right, there's a 31 day bonus content calendar that I'm going to be sharing. I realize that in all the chaos, I forgot to share this link. I shared it in my head, I think, and now I've got to actually go and do it. So I'll share this link with you. Normally we were going to share this particular bonus content with our VIPs, but we've got some other stuff for the VIP. So I'm going to share this with everyone because you'll find this more relevant. So we're going to share that in the group and then you'll learn about some other tools that we have. So let's talk today about, you know, today we're talking about how, how are we going to deploy what we've learned over the last few days? And the most powerful way that you're going to do that is through stories, as you've learned. Now I want to give you a simple framework that my friend Jennifer Hooty has taught me and we've been implementing with great success and we've seen awesome success stories from our clients who use this same framework to share their stories. And I'll be sharing some examples of for my page as well. And then I'm going to invite you to write your first story using this framework or your first post using this framework using perhaps the 31 day content calendar. Pick a day. You don't have to go in the order that the calendar is in. You can pick a day and use this framework to tell that story. Okay, so Here are the five Cs. Make sure you have your pen handy. The first C is to capture people's attention. So we can capture people's attention a few different ways. One, through images. Images are a great way to capture people's attention. A question is another way to capture people's attention. And guess what? You can actually do both. You don't have to choose one or the other. You can do both if you want to really get people's attention. People may not always answer, but their brain cannot ignore a question. Okay? It's impossible for the brain. So in their mind, every time you ask a question, they're answering yes or no. Now, the brain is very smart at energy efficiency and it doesn't really like to think too much if it doesn't have to. Right? Why would you want to do more work than you have to? Right? It would be an intelligent, a hyper intelligent model of operation to think less. Right? Computer programmers get paid more if they can write shorter code because the computer can run more efficiently if it doesn't have to process a thousand lines of information, if only has to process 20. It can also operate Faster. So we want to realize that the human mind works that way and we want to ask very. That's why we want to ask very simple questions. Yes or no questions work well and then give simple commands. Okay. So you'll even notice in the chat, I will mix this up. Sometimes I'll ask you to share what you're grateful for and it'll take you a few minutes to come back with a response. Sometimes I'll ask you to type in yes. Sometimes I'll ask you to drop an emoji because that takes a little bit more work. So I really, I can really pay attention based on who's typing, when they're typing it, who's tuning in, who's paying attention. Okay. So asking questions is a very powerful way of getting feedback not just in your zooms, not just in your meeting rooms like this, but also off of your social media posts as well. It gets people's attention. So images. You know, one thing I invite you to do is actually scroll through your social media feed for a few minutes and ask yourself, what made me stop? Was it an image? Was it a name that I saw? Somebody who I'm fascinated with, right? Somebody who I'm following, Was it a question that they asked? Ask yourself, right? Do a self examination of what makes you stop scrolling. You can even perhaps take a screenshot. Every time you stop scrolling, take a screenshot. If you get enough of those, you'll be able to understand a pattern. And if you're your avatar, then that becomes really easy. You know, what brands, what other brands are being marketed to you? A good way to know, you know, what interest somebody has and where they spend their discretionary time and income is from their Facebook feed. I know based on the ads that I'm seeing, it's a reflection of what I'm currently focused on. So if I start clicking on bike ads or if I'm looking for an E bike or something like that, then guess what? I'm going to start seeing all kinds of ads for E bikes. So your feed is a reflection of, of the brands and companies and interests that you have as well. So pay attention to that. Companies spend lots of money to try to capture your attention. Your focus is the most powerful thing that you have. That's why companies spend billions of dollars to try to get a little piece of your focus. Number two is we want to create interest. How do we create interest? The best way to create interest is by telling stories. Okay? So when we can tell a, when we get good at storytelling, guess what? The Brain tunes in. The brain listens. And when we get good at, great at telling a story, in fact, then we can really get people's attention. Remember, people's attention and focus is the most powerful thing that we can get. And if we provide value to people, we deserve to be taking a piece of their focus and attention stories. Okay, number three is to clarify benefits. So now that you told them, why should they care? Why should you care about what you just told them? And I'll be sharing some examples of this. Number four is credibility. Why should they listen to you? And then a call to action. So there's a, there's a different way that you can put this, a little bit of a twist on that. This whole framework is just, we'll think of it as a, in a different context. So first question is what the heck is that? Second question is. Or a second thought pattern is tell me more. What the heck is that? Oh, it's this. Okay, tell me more. Then tell me why it matters to me. Why should I care? And then why should I listen to you? What do you know about this? And then what should I do? Okay, so maybe Aaron, if you could type this out for me, what the heck is that? Or somebody, whoever wants to tell me more, why should I care? Why should I listen to you and what should I do? Okay, so if your content can follow this framework, can you already see how just the order of these things makes a difference? If I start with what should I do? Right. And I go backwards through this, it doesn't make any sense. So we don't want to jumble this order up. So now ask yourself, when you're writing an email, when you're putting a talk together, when you're writing a social media post, when you're doing a Facebook video, if you follow this framework, you can see that you're going to get a lot of value. You're going to give a lot of value and you're going to get a lot of value. Okay, now let me share, let me share some examples of this. Is this valuable? Is this, is this making flowing a little bit better now? And I see Ibi here saying that I think you just made me love posting a little bit more. Okay, good, Great. Thank you. Yeah, Natalie says I have this as a post it on my desk. Yes. And you can actually, you know, if you want to take it to a whole new level. I've actually thought about doing this. How many of you would find it valuable if I created a computer screen background for you that had all of our different frameworks in it so that it would just be on your desktop all the time and perhaps like unconsciously you'd be downloading it and whenever you need it, it would just be there. You wouldn't have to search for it on your computer. You wouldn't have to dig through anything. Okay. So I just created some more work for myself, but that'll be a fun project. I like doing stuff like that. Awesome. So let me share some stories using this framework. I'm going to be vulnerable here, but I. But I want to because I think this is a good opportunity to be. So when I was young, somebody called me skinny. And that sent me on a whirlwind of trying to gain as much weight as possible. And I would actually avoid certain people in my life because they would always comment on weight, not because, just because they. That was a normal thing in our culture. Okay. So every time you see your grandmother, she'll ask you, are you eating enough? Have you lost some weight? Have you gained some weight? So there's like this whole body dysmorphia thing that takes place. Okay. And so somebody said this to me and it just triggered me. And so I said, you know what? I'm just going to become as big as I can. And being vegetarian, not eating any meat, that is not an easy thing to do. So you end up taking a lot of weight gainers, end up taking a lot of pre workout, post workout type stuff. And at the time, I was eating a lot of fake. I hate to almost admit it, but it's the truth. I was eating a lot of those fake proteins which are loaded with gluten. Right. Tasted great, but loaded with gluten. Turns out as I learned about functional medicine, I realized that one of the first things I was, was gluten intolerant. And so it was creating a lot of inflammation for me. So I, you know, I, I say it's when keeping it real goes wrong. Right. I knew enough, I was smart enough to avoid dairy, but I was at the time, they didn't have almond milk and stuff like that, so I was drinking soy milk. And so, you know, I just kept trying to get bigger and bigger and bigger. And I remember the year my wife and I decided we were going to get married. I said, I'm going to become the biggest version of me I've ever been. And my goal was to get to about £185. Oh, sorry, £200. And I got to 185. And then I came home to try on my Wedding outfit that my wife had purchased for me and my arms wouldn't fit into it. So they literally, it was a custom made suit from India. They measured me in January when she went to do the wedding shopping. And then in July, my arm wouldn't fit into the suit because I was just. I just gained so much weight. And, you know, so that was. They had to actually extend the suit, they had to get special material and expand the suit so my arms would fit through it. And to me, it was a badge of honor. But looking back, it was probably so much inflammation, so much insecurity, right? Letting the opinion of somebody else shape every decision I made from that point forward. What I was going to eat, how much I was going to lift, all those things, right? So when I started practicing functional medicine principles, that's when my health really took a turn for the better. And one of the first things I did was I gave up gluten. I was already off of dairy, so I gave up gluten. And that was life changing for me. Something that simple. And what happened over the years is really a journey of self discovery, self love, because that's what health is at the end of the day, is do we, do we love ourselves? Right. I was doing all these things because I didn't like the opinion of somebody else. And I let somebody else's opinion dictate my choices. So how many of us might be doing that in our current life, right? How many of us are allowing others to dictate the choices that we make? How big we dream and what we dream of and what we think of. And now at age 44, I'm happy to report that I am healthier than when I was 32, happier, much happier when I was 32. And I've only aged over the course of 12 years. I only aged eight years, so I've been able to lower my biological age. So when you tell this story or when I tell this story, I want to follow the framework. Okay? And I'm not trying to get you to become my clients, but what we would do is we would share our story in a vulnerable way. We would share the before the after the benefit, right? Why should you care? Well, if you want to slow down the aging process, I can show you how, right? Not just by teaching you what to eat, but teaching you how to think, teaching you how to breathe. Like teaching you how to do all the things that you need to do to be happy and whole. Living a full life is more than just lab work, right? There's lots of People have normal lab work that are not happy. So we would talk about that, right? Why should people care? Credibility. The proof is in the pudding, right? So the testing adds credibility. The image adds credibility. People have been following me for years. That adds credibility, right? How long have we been doing this? That adds credibility. So there's ways that we can create credibility. And then what's the call to action? Right? So the call to action might be, you know, has this ever happened to you? Right. Comment? Yes. Call to action could be. Tag a friend that needs to see this. Call to action could be, I'm doing a webinar, sharing the exact steps, the top 21 tips I learned on my journey. Drop a heart if you're interested in attending. Okay, so those are. You follow that framework and you're golden. Go back through some of your posts. Maybe you've. Maybe you've answered like three out of the five things. Maybe you've only done one. You can go back and edit some of your content as well. Because guess what? When people start following you, do they just look at your last post? If you're stalking someone, do you just look at their last post or do you go through, like you scroll through their feed, right? So if your old content sucks because it didn't follow this framework, that doesn't mean it should suck forever, right? So one of the first things that you do, if you don't know what to post or you don't know what to share, just go back and fix some of the stuff that you have, Okay? Because that's part of your credibility, right? If you only have one good post and all your other posts are just like bombs, then people start stalking you because they want to work with you, right? If I'm going to get on call with somebody that I met through social media or clinician or a practitioner or somebody who piques my interest and I'm considering working with them, I'm just like, I just have to click on their face and spend two minutes on their profile and I can see what they're all about. Doesn't take long. Okay? So follow these frameworks. Go back and fix these things if you need to. Here's a. Here's another example. So this is a, you know, the. An image that we use. And this is from the work that I did with Dr. Eric Berg. If you don't know this framework, it's really good. It gets people's attention. So we talk about the different body types. And so the question I put here, I know it's probably small for you to see. But the question I put here is, did you know your body shape immediately indicates what hormones are out of balance? Right. So there is a question. And then it feels like magic when I speak with people and I can predict almost every symptom they have and the fastest way to correct it. So that's kind of telling a story, right? Creating interest. You can imagine having a conversation with somebody and them being able to predict all your symptoms. That's desirable as a patient who going to a doctor trying to explain what's wrong and sounds like they're crazy when they do. Okay, and then I have a call to action here. Right. I'm doing a free training next week on how to rebalance your body's hormone systems, reduce chronic inflammation, have more energy, and reduce brain fog. And there's a special bonus that we're going to be giving out. So this image here only has three of the things that it should. Right. So what's a way I could have created credibility? Any ideas or guesses here? What are your suggestions? I want to see who's paying attention. Okay, so we could have perhaps posted a before and after. Right. Of maybe the results that we got from somebody. That's a great idea. Maybe I could create more credibility by saying, you know, I've worked with thousands of patients over the years, having done this for the last 15 years. Right. Having been trained by an expert in this work, having read dozens of books on this topic. Right. So I can create credibility by sharing some of those things. Sybil's got a great idea here. Adding a testimonial. Okay. I could mention my own previous story. Great, so you're all getting the hang of it now. You're never going to look at a post the same way. You're never going to write a post the same way. All right, here's a good example. This is Deepa. So when you look at this image, if you've never seen this before, you're probably wondering, what the heck is that? Some of you may be wondering even now, what the heck is that? So this is a continuous glucose monitor. And so the question I posed in this post is, what the heck is that on your arm? Right? Because I already know the question that they're probably asking. So if I can get right into their head, then they're much more likely to resonate with me. Okay. Then I share a story about learning about this technology from Ben House when I went to Costa Rica, speaking at an event. Then I describe why they should care, why it's important for Them to know their blood sugar. Okay. Give them more details on what the benefits are, why they should care about this. Okay. How we've done work with clients, building more credibility, why they should care. Right. And then a call to action. Okay, so what could a great call to action be? Great call to action could be, I did a special recording on this. Would you be interested in it? Type in yes in the comments. Right. Or I'm doing a special webinar teaching you how to use a CGM to balance your blood sugar. Type in me if you're interested. Okay. And when those people say me, you could send them a previous recording that you've done, or you could invite them to a webinar that you're doing or a training that you're doing. Okay. So start following this framework in your post. It's going to be super helpful for you. So we call this. This is a format of what we call guerrilla marketing, where it's very organic. So guerrilla marketing is kind of as organic as you can get. Right. Some people might think of guerrilla marketing and think about, you know, putting flyers on people's windshields. That's an example of guerrilla marketing. Or going buying street signs and then posting them everywhere. That's guerrilla marketing. Could be getting post it notes, putting them outside doctor's offices where their patients park, asking them if they're interested in a second opinion. Imagine that you leave the doctor's office with no answers, no solutions, and you come back to your car and there's a post it note on it saying, hey, if you're not happy with what you heard in there, give us a call. Right. That's a form of guerrilla marketing. So those are things that may not be suitable for your brand, but those are also things that you can do. Okay. Some people, another form of guerrilla marketing. I'll give you an example of something that I did. I wanted my book in Barnes and Noble and here we, you know, there's Indigo. So I didn't call Indigo and say, hey, will you carry my book? I just took a dozen copies and put it on their shelf. Right. That's guerrilla marketing. So again, maybe on brand or off brand for you, but think scrappy as well. Okay? All right, now another thing I want you all to know, and this is something that we're going to go over in more detail tomorrow in our VIP training. We're going to go over communication styles. Knowing your personal communication style and also your client's communication style is one of the most powerful tools in your business because you have a Powerful message, right? So we tell a great story, we write great content. People come to our webinar and then now they get on a call with us to talk about the most important thing in their life, which is their health. And we've never met this person before. Wouldn't we want to know how to best communicate with them and connect with them? Type in yes if you'd like to know how to connect with them more deeply. Use the right words, avoid using the wrong phrases, avoid using and. Or avoid focusing on the wrong things. Some of you might do a presentation about how great your program is and present all the wrong things may not be what that person needs to hear or wants to hear. So I gave an example. Like we're going through this whole plumbing project. So I told my wife, I said, hey, let's, let's upgrade our water filtration system. And you know, I went upstairs to grab something. I didn't realize the guy was over and he was talking to Deepa and all I wanted to know was the price because I already made up my decision. And he's presenting all this stuff and doing all this stuff, and I'm like, okay, man, like, let's just get on with this because I need to get on with the rest of my day. And he ended up taking much longer than I had anticipated to do the presentation. So then Deepa ended up having to leave. Right. So instead of getting the sale right there and then, which he could have done because I was a decision maker and I'm a D on the communication style, like it cost him the sale. Now we're still going to buy it from him because I've already made up my mind. But he could have had that sale, walked away with it today with no paper trail, no. No ex, no extra paper trail, no follow up, no like, you know, something else happening in my life and then having to change my mind. Right. So, I mean, I wouldn't have expected him to survey me before he came. But we have an opportunity to do that with our clients because we're sending them an intake form. Okay. So one of the most amazing things I learned, I was actually trained by Tom Zigler and Howard Parcher. So Tom Ziglar is Zig Ziglar's son. And I learned this at one of their business trainings. Now other, other people have different systems that they teach, but I've been using this for quite some time now, and I found it to be very effective. So we actually have a worksheet that we'll be sharing and diving into tomorrow in our VIP training and we'll be teaching communication styles. Okay. And the reason this is important is because it makes you a better communicator. And when you communicate more effectively, you connect more effectively. And Nancy has a great comment here. She says once you get tuned into this, you can easily meet people where they are at with communication. Yeah. It's so powerful. Nancy, are you able to unmute yourself? Yeah. Awesome. I'd love for you to share how much of a difference this has made for you.
Well, I've used disc for probably, oh, gosh. Date myself over 20 years. I used it for every staff person in the hiring process, knowing that certain behavior styles perform better in certain positions. And I've used it with relationships. I had my kids do it. And it just. It just, I guess, takes. I don't want to. Well, takes emotion like, oh, this person is mad at me or they don't get me, or, you know, it's like all of that stress of understanding kind of cuts through all that because if you. When you know yourself and.
What.
What you prefer as far as your communication and you know what the person that you're communicating with, what their preference is, it's easier to adapt and really connect on a much deeper level with much less effort. How about that?
I love that. I love that. And I want to acknowledge you for sharing. So thank you for sharing that. And in true coaching style, I'm going to bring something to your attention which I think will be very effective for you, is you said 20 years. Oh, gosh, I'm aging myself. But that actually gives you credibility. Right. If you said that, hey, I've just been using this for the last two weeks and it seems to be working. I might not take you as seriously, but you said 20 years, but at an unconscious level. Right. You downplayed that. So I want you to pay attention to where else you may be doing that, where you may be not acknowledging how credible you actually are and how wise you actually are. So as clinicians, that's actually working in our favor. Right. That experience, that wisdom, that ability to be doing something for several decades. Right. That's very powerful. So super appreciate you sharing and I love the direction that you're taking. And it's exciting to see that this is something you've been using for quite some time that has been helping you and your clients. And more importantly, it's been helping you enhance your relationships, personal relationships as well.
Absolutely, absolutely. And 20 years is a blink of an eye.
Yeah, it is, right? It sure is now you are also in the mentorship. Would you be open to sharing what your experience has been like working with our community? Sure.
So I have actually been blessed with incredible mentors throughout my life. And so I, when I quote, unquote, landed in this mentorship with you.
You.
Know, it was easy to recognize that this is, this is where I belong. And, and the alignment and integrity is incredibly important to me. And in conversations that I had with you leading up to my joining the mentorship, I mean, it was just very clear to me that that is one of your.
Values.
And so it became a no brainer. And while my initial decision was looking at the value of you and what you bring, it really is the community as a whole that brings it all together. It's really surrounding with like minded people who are on a similar journey. Not the same. But being able to tap into everybody's collective experience and support and, you know, that has been priceless.
Thank you. Thank you. And I apologize if I put you on the spot, but I figured I had you and you had such a powerful share, so I thought I would, you know, just kind of allow you to share what your experience has been like. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. Right?
You betcha.
All right, so we're going to be going over this in more detail tomorrow. Okay. And I'm going to do a deeper dive in this because this is where the rubber meets the road. Once you tell your story, you get people interested in the work that you do, you get them on a call. We'll talk about that tomorrow as well. How to, you know, bridge people between raising their hands and getting them on a phone call. And then you're only as effective as your communication style and that resonance that you have. So I'm a D, for example. I'll give you a little bit of a story here. I'm a D, and my wife is an S. So as a D, I'm also a quick start on the Colby, which means that I like to take action quickly. Okay. And. And so I only need the bottom line. Whereas some people need a lot of details. My wife is one of those people that needs details. That's why you'll notice that my slides are usually like, it's just two words. Right. There's no bullet points. There's. Because that takes way too long for me to put together. Right. And I like, I don't like to be committed to having to say what I thought I should say, you know, two weeks ago when I was putting the presentation together. Okay. So I Actually thrive under those type of conditions to go with the flow. Whereas some people like a lot of structure, my wife is somebody who likes a lot of structure. So having simple slides like this would drive her nuts. Unless she has a support system. Right. Like her notes handy just to make sure she doesn't miss anything. So she's an s communication style. So you can only imagine when it comes to decision making, she needs more information to make a decision and it takes her longer to come to a decision. So if I communicate with her, the way I want to be communicated to, it can come across as being short. Right. Or when she's telling a story, I might even tune her out because I don't need to hear all the details in between. Just tell me the ending, tell me what I need to do. Okay. And I'm not necessarily proud of that. Right. And it wasn't until I understood the way my communication works and she understood the way my communication works and I understood how her communication works. I can't just come up to her with an idea. I have to come to her with a plan. Okay. Some people I need to come to with a process. Then you need to understand why this is going to work. Some people need to know they're going to have fun doing it. Right. And some people are ready to get started. So knowing those different communication styles, critical. Okay. We don't want to bore someone to tears if they're ready to take an action. Okay. So for me, if you're communicating to someone like me, the fact that I'm getting on a call with you is already the yes. Because I don't have time to waste. Right. So I don't just get on a call with random people unless I'm interested in taking action. So these don't tire shop or tire kick. Sorry, we're not window shopping and tire kicking. We just don't have time for that. We walk into the store, we buy what we want, it's usually the best, and then we leave. Now we're going to be a mix of these different styles, personality and communication styles. So I'm also an I. So I's like to have fun. Eyes are people pleasers, sometimes to a fault, sometimes not. So we have to be careful about that. Sometimes eyes will have a hard time saying no to things. So these are people that might say yes to your program and then two days later they email you and they tell you no because they didn't want to break your heart. So those are the people that need to know we're going to have fun along the way. They need to know that this is going to be a joyful experience. Okay? So how we communicate with these people that we're going to come into contact with is vital. So we actually ask some really simple questions. And I'll share that framework with those in the VIP so that you can add this to your intake form if you choose to, or at least once you get good at it, you'll know who's who. You'll also know how these people researched and found out about you. Okay. So I make decisions personally based on referrals. Okay. Because I can imagine somebody else has already done a little research. They've already gone through the process. So I look at referrals. So knowing how somebody makes a decision allows you to focus on the right elements of your program so that they feel comfortable in that decision moving forward. Now, you never want to tell people that you're offering something that you aren't because that's what they want to hear. You emphasize that in your program. Okay? So knowing this is critical, and that's why we're going to be doing a deeper dive into this. I hope you all got value from today. I got value from today, and I'm grateful that you tuned in and you stayed tuned in. I would love to spend just a couple of minutes. If anyone has any questions about what we learned today, I'm happy to answer them. And we'll take one question if somebody's got it. And if not, feel free to share what your biggest takeaway has been. It's been a great pleasure to work with you. It's also worth noting that if you're interested in staying connected and plugged into our community, then type in the word community and somebody from my team will reach out to you and connect with you. And be happy to get on a call to share how you can continue working with us over the course of a longer period of time, maybe a year, maybe two years, maybe three years. Imagine what could happen if you had a supportive community, great leadership tools, Right. That support not just your business, but your own personal growth. What would that do for your business? I think it'd be transformational. It's been, for me, it's been transformational. So if you type in the word community, then we know who to connect with. We'll be able to connect and reach out to you and follow up and see if you have any questions. And if you haven't upgraded to vip, then I'm going to encourage you that you do because you'll get all the recordings from this past week, Lifetime access. You'll also get a special playbook that we're putting together. And in addition to that, you'll get all the bonus tools that we're going to be sharing as well. And the training tomorrow. So join me for that if you're in the vip. If not, it's not too late to upgrade. And if you're looking for a powerful community to connect with, we'd love to see if the mentorship is a right fit for you and help you build your dream. Okay, lots of love everyone. Great having you here. Thank you for joining us. I will see some of you tomorrow and I'll be keeping the group open for the next couple days or so and then after that the group will shut down.
